“Jumping” Janet Bridges-Madison [D] vs. Isabelle Starlight (First Ever Boxer vs. Wrestler Match)

Match Type: Boxer vs. Wrestler Match
Rules: Each competitor will adhere to the rules of their sport. For Isabelle, she can only win by pinfall, submission, knockout, count out or disqualification. For Janet, she can only win by knocking her opponent out for a count of 10 or knock her opponent down three times for a T.K.O. No round breaks, but Janet is allowed to clinch for as long as she needs.

The crowd was in for a real treat in Tokyo tonight as it was a unique match on deck. The debuting Janet Bridges-Madison had brought a new match to LAW and it would bring the worlds of boxing and wrestling together in a head-to-head collision. A good turnout wanted to see what this match was on full display and the beginning vocals of Janet’s theme played allowing her to skip out jogging in place wearing a nice blue silk boxing robe. She comes down the ramp waving to the fans in attendance and even stops to pose for pictures before basking in the stadium lights. Janet was usually no nonsense and straight to business when it came to matches, but this was her debut match and she learned how being a bit showy right out of the gate could display some weaknesses right away for her opponent to exploit. She had to play it natural for her first outing even if she was going to break rules if necessary.

Janet comes down ringside and heads up the steel steps getting in between the two middle ropes before raising the gloves up high. She discards her robe and handed it to a corner attendant before chilling in one of the corners gloves firmly gripping the top ropes. Janet chewed on her mouth guard for this encounter and she jogged in place some more preparing for her opponent’s arrival.

When they asked Isabelle about joining not only a special kind of match, but also the FIRST one of that, she accepted right away even if she wasn't in LAW for a long time. She was willing to take on any challenge and this one specially was really interesting!

She will also help another fellow fighter have her debut so it was all wins here!

It was her time to enter the ring so she leave backstage and walks donw the ramp, hi-fiving her fans on the first row and waving at the ones that were on the crowd.

She did what it turned to be a staple for her and jumped directly at the ring, grabbing the ropes on landing! To enter the ring, she slides in between the second and the third rope and goes to her corner excited for being in the first Boxing vs Wrestling match!

She warmed up by streaching her legs as she waited of the bell to rang.

Janet would hear new music come on as Isabelle came down excited as can be ready to be apart of history right away. Janet punched her gloves together just giving a hardened glare at her first opponent ever and studying her. She was definitely peppy and really loved interacting with the crowd on her way to the ring. Isabelle situated herself in her corner as the referee put on her white plastic gloves to prevent herself from dirtying her hands. She kept both competitors separated before calling for the bell.

DING! DING! DING!

Janet knew she was very limited in this match so she would try playing defensive to see what Isabelle was all about and got a guard up circling her newbie opponent.

The match had finally begun and Isabelle approaches the center of the ring seeing how her opponent was circling her. She studied a bit of boxing before coming but she wasn't an expert and she didn't practiced the sport on her own, so her opponent was having the upper hand in terms of experience.

To not risk her opportunities, Isabelle decided to follow her opponent on her circles and goes for a high right kick directly at Janet's left side of her body and attempts to throw her to the mat with a tackle, looking to hit her stomach with her shoulder.

Janet saw Isabelle mirror circling her as the younger wrestler went for a kick to her left side out of the starting gate! Janet managed to block it off trying to back up and hop in place. Isabelle sprung forward with her shoulder knocking Janet on her back. Janet quickly wrapped her arms around Isabelle’s waist to wrestle Isabelle on her back, but her sport’s rules prevented her from attacking a grounded opponent so Janet sprung back up to her feet to wait for Isabelle to rise. Once Isabelle got back to her feet and was ready to fight, Janet would make her move.

Janet came forward faking a right hook to the jaw before going for a left hook into the rookie’s stomach. She had to work with just her strikes as her opponent seemed to be faster than her on her feet. If Isabelle took the shot, Janet would try rocking her face with a one-two punch combo right in her cheeks!

isabelle felt Janet's struggling on the floor, making it more difficult for her to go and try for a submission, something Janet's doesn't have a defense for.

Thanks to her wrestle, Janet was able to escape and stand up. Isabelle quickly followed her attemping to grab her again.

However, she saw that hook coming to her jaw so, thinking it was a real move, she slides looking to avoid her. What she didn't know it's that she fell right into the trap. The true punch came flying at her stomach, giving Isabelle a pain she counld't describe as well... It was her first time getting hit by a boxing glove!

Followed by that was a combo that Janet manage to hit correctly into Isabelle's unprotected face. Those impacts made Isabelle's head to snap to both sides, spiting some saliva in the process.

Those punches at her head made her a little dizzy so to avoid being on a disavantage, Isabelle went for a kick right in the middle of Janet's stomach, wanting for her to lean forward. If she succeded, Isabelle will jump looking to dug her knee into Janet's head.

Janet sunk her gut punch in her opponent’s stomach and followed it up nicely with a two hit combo to the face. The boxer saw her opponent’s head start swirling and this provided a chance for an early knock down. However, Isabelle was quick to throw out a kick to Janet’s stomach getting some measure of revenge and making the popular boxer wheeze bending forward. Isabelle’s knee came up cracking Janet’s head upwards and that made Janet go back into the ropes.

Janet shook off her incoming headache and got back out there going for three right rapid punches to the stomach hoping to slow Isabelle’s momentum. If those worked, Janet would fire a left uppercut to Isabelle’s chin to send her flying through the air!

Isabelle had manage to hit Janet with her knee just as she planned! That gave her confident on her more freely moveset.

She saw Janet getting on the ropes so Isabelle quickly ran at the opposite ropes using their elasticity to bounce and return straight back at Janet at full speed!

That, however, was the caused of her doom. Her movements stopped dead as she recieved those thrre punches at her stomach, stopping her momentum completely and forcing a groan after every single hit while Janet's punches easily sunk into her stomach.

That attack leaved her open for the incoming uppercut at her chin, succeding in sending Isabelle flying as she screams from the pain. Shortly after she hit the mat so the boxing rules aplyied here for Janet and the referee started counting Isabelle out.

"One!"

"Two!"

Those was some serious punches Isabelle recieved, leaving her incredible dizzy.

"Three!"

"Four!"

She was now able to sit on the mat, panting heavily

"Five!"

"Six!"

"Seven!"

Isabelle finally stands up, being in the middle of the ring, she confirmed with the referee that she can continue fighting and so she ran towards her opponent once more. This time, however, she jumps at the ropes near her, grabbing them and using them to bounce back at Janet, wanting to hit a Dropkick in the middle of her chest.

Janet managed to knock down Isabelle as the referee called it and ordered Janet to a neutral corner so she could focus on the count. Isabelle was out of it for awhile until the count of 7 when she managed to get back to her feet properly. Janet cranked her neck and got back out there as Isabelle ran for her. Janet reached back her left fist going for the head this time, but Isabelle ducked under it and used the ropes to jump off of hitting a Springboard Dropkick to Janet’s chest! This sent the boxer fully on her back to hold her chest and pant.

Getting Janet on the ground was perfect for Isabelle, as she recieved enough punishment under her rules, so it was time to give her a taste of wrestling rules.

Isabelle landed on the floor after the dropkick, hitting herself a bit, but that was nothing compare to the uppercut she recieved earlier. The floor was part of her terrain in this match in particular, so Isabelle crawled towards Janet and tries to grab her right arm. She will now attempt to go for an Ambar, streaching her arm while she wraped her legs around it.
