Close encounter with Blades

Geun pulled up, trying to go as slowly as she could, when her chin reached the top of the bar she counted under her breath and repeated. She continued that for a short while, finishing her set before dropping down. Her body was glistening with sweat from her hard workout. Taking a small break she moved to where she left her things, grabbing the towel and whipping herself before reaching for the water bottle and taking a few sips while looking out at the rest of the gym.

The gym itself was filled with the usual wrestlers and other individuals that came to use the gym to get fit. It would seem that very few people would have been of little interest to her. With that said, however, there would be one individual that took notice of Guen and her workout. As she was taking a break and drinking from the water bottle, which she had on her, a man with red, spikey hair, orange eyes and Asian-inspired garb, approached her.

"I have to say, you handled the bars pretty well there. the man said to Guen, complimenting, "And looking so good while doing it. I can imagine you would show many of these people a thing or two."

Geun would crack a smile as she looked at the man who just approached her. "Apparently I already started showing to you... not that I mind, though it should be a little give and take, don't you think?" She said, looking him up and down before taking another sip. "I'm Geun by the way." She continued after that short pause before reaching out her hand to him.

“You are absolutely right.”Jack responded to the woman’s retort, as he then continued, “Very nice to meet you, Guen.” He subtly examined Guen’s form, which he took a liking towards.

“Give and take is a good concept to live by.” Jack then continued, “And I can do a lot of giving and then some.” He stood next to the area of the ring that Guen was at as he gave a charming smile.

"A generous man? Rare sight indeed" She said returning the smile and stretching her back a little before training her eyes to the mats and smiling a bit wider.

"Say now, if you are so generous, how about you help me with a little sparing hmm? I promise I'll be gentle" She said in a teasing tone, she planed to be looking for someone for that anyway and it was a perfect opportunity.

Jack took note of the woman's specific stretches and was liking what he was seeing. Of course, he could immediately tell that the woman's smile grew when looking at the ring. Even before she would say anything, he knew what would be asked of him.

"I would gladly spar with you." Jack responded to the woman's request, and noting her teasing tone, which caused him to smirk. As he got into the ring, he would turn to speak to his sparring opponent as he removed the top piece of clothing to reveal a muscular upper body with a few scars; indicating a rough background.

"Be as rough as you want to be..." Jacks responded to the woman as he said the name he got from her, "Miss Guen."

"If you say so, though you have been warned." She would say with a playful smile before climbing into the ring. There she would turn towards her sparing partner and take a loose stance. "You do have me at a disadvantage though, I still don't know your name." She said just before they would begin.

To start she would throw a left hook, followed by the right cross and another hook with the last punch being pulled back at the last moment as it was meant just as a distraction for the incoming low kick from the left.

And Jack immediately responded with a solid block to the left hook with his left arm, and then shifted he waist to turn and block the right cross. Then, he raised his other arm to last punch. Now, while this could've left him vulnerable to the kick, he responded quickly by lowering his arm to intercept the kick. He then raised Guen's leg as he then followed it up with a solid strike to her midriff. Of course, this was merely to push her back so he did not hit her as hard as he could've.

"Ah yes, you are very right." Jack responded, "My apologies to have such an unfair advantage to get your name, but not share mine. You may call me Jack. And might I add that was a very good offensive. I'm very certain you knock many people flat on their ass with that combination." He gave a playful wink.

Geun chuckled. "Flatterer... If it was so good at least one punch would have connected... Still, nice moves you got there." she said getting back to her stance and circling Jack, this time allowing him to open the exchange.

Jack smirked at Geun's response to his flattery, as well as when she let him make the first move; as she was only circling him for the time being.

"Thank you." Jack said with a smirk, "but you ain't seen nothing yet." Deciding to open up lightly, but powerful, Jack moved in and shot out standard, martial-art styled fist strikes at Geun; immediately forcing her on the defensive.

He would keep this up for a bit until he decided to bring a couple of kicks into the mix. One was a standard kick to the midriff, which was followed by a spinning high kick.

Jack was expecting Geun to either block or dodge them. In either case, he was ready to grab her and throw into the ropes and getting ready to seize her in a bearhug.
