Re: [Tables Match] Charlotte Ravel' vs A I R A - Fire in our hearts and honor in our souls (Apex Qualifier Match)
If Aira had been behind her when Charlotte turned around, she probably wouldn't have been able to do anything. The Frenchwoman's head was spinning so much that she felt vomiting. She felt a wild pain in the place where her opponent's fist landed. She even involuntarily recalled the last training session with Astrid. Her friend had truly monstrous strength and her every punch was like a train. And although Aira was far from Astrid in terms of size, this blue-haired woman seemed to have found some hidden source of power that she used to make her punch so hard.
Therefore, Charlotte was preparing for the fact that in a second she would have to make every effort to push the Indonesian woman away in an attempt to protect herself. But it wasn't necessary. Aira fell. The blue-haired woman lay motionless on the mat face down. It wasn't typical for the Sand Lizard, but she let out a sigh of relief.
It seems that the source of power that Aira found provided her with only one blow. Suddenly, the pink-haired woman closed her eyes tightly. She felt pain fill her body. Her muscles started turning to stone, which was a very bad sign. She has never been known for her endurance. And considering that she had to act with a wound on the back of her head and without any rest, everything indicated that the Sand Lizard's strength would soon run out.
"Pull yourself together..." Charlotte muttered.
After taking a few deep breaths, she pulled the top rope and straightened to her full height. There was nothing to hide here, she didn't expect this match to be so intense. She didn't have any prejudices about her opponent's strength, but even so, Charlotte was amazed at how resilient Aira turned out to be.
Still feeling dizzy, the Sand Lizard shook her head slightly. Her mind cleared to some extent and she immediately heard the noise of the audience. Now almost everything is back to normal. Why? Because now the audience has started supporting both Charlotte and Aira again. This made the Frenchwoman smile slightly. Yes, her opponent made a mistake, but she didn't deserve to be rejected.
Charlotte shook her head again. Now was not the time to give in to emotions. She has to finish this match. And there was only one way to do it. Still holding onto the top rope, the Sand Lizard headed to the corner where she had left the folded table before Aira hit her in the crotch. Blood was dripping from Charlotte's chin and she stumbled at almost every step due to fatigue. But she kept moving forward.
"Come on... come on..." she quietly encouraged herself.
Stopping, the young woman got down on one knee and grabbed the table. The noise in the hall began to increase, the audience was preparing for the end. Their emotions could be understood. Charlotte took a deep breath and gritted her teeth. Having unfolded one leg of the table, she lifted the whole construction, and then unfolded the second leg of the table. Everything was ready.
Gripping the edge of the table, the Sand Lizard used this as a support in order to get to her feet. The Frenchwoman winced and after a moment the reason for this became clear. She put her hand on the back of her head, touching the wound. It's no surprise to get hurt in a hardcore match. But Charlotte got that wound too early. And along with the blood, part of her strength also flowed out from this wound. But then...
Name. Her name. Louder and louder. Raising her head, the Sand Lizard looked at the audience, who began to chant her name, because she was the one who unfolded the second table in this match. The deep place where a person usually had a soul was empty for Charlotte. No one knew it, but it was true. Or at least that's what she thought. But now she felt something strange there. Something warm. What was that? Something she had long forgotten. Exactly. Support. Sincere support. The corners of the pink-haired woman's lips lifted slightly. She clenched her fist and raised it above her head, so that to at least somehow thank the audience for their support at this moment.

Re: [Tables Match] Charlotte Ravel' vs A I R A - Fire in our hearts and honor in our souls (Apex Qualifier Match)
Aira doesn't want to give out... Not right now. She have a lot to prove that she belongs in contention for the top flight in LAW. She was ready to bring everything on the line to her opponent. Though right now, her body doesn't seem to listen to her as she laid down on the canvas. Her eyes closed and her body heaving up and down as she drew deep breaths as pain ached throughout her body.
She remembered the training that she had prior to joining LAW. All the sparring with her friends, and through the harsh regiment with her senseis, if there's one thing to take from those training... It was that there was no stopping until you hear the bell rings. To which, she never heard any. Aira then slowly moved her arm, planting her hand to the canvas and tried her best to push herself up. Only to fall back down shortly afterwards.
It was clear that the Indonesian was struggling to get back up, but she won't give up... Not until she really lose by having the table break under her. Her head glanced up slightly to see Charlotte setting up the table. But it looked like she struggled to do so with all the damage she took. If only Aira could take advantage of this. She just couldn't do so immediately. Yet, there was this dread feeling coming at her that this match would come to the end soon. And the following sequences would make or break for either of the fighter in this ring.
It's not over yet, Aira wanted to make it clear. She planted her hands onto the canvas once again. Pushing herself up as she heard the crowd calling out for Charlotte's name. Aira couldn't help but to smile a bit hearing the support the crowd gave at Charlotte. She surely didn't forget, this was a match to show how both of them would push each other to their limits. Her knees pushed herself up further until she set one foot on the canvas. To which she rested her hands onto the knee as she looked up slightly. Drawing her breathing in and out deeply, even with the pain aching throughout her and her fatigue starting to set in. She have to make the point right here right now.
Aira then propelled herself up to her two feet. Stumbling as she approached Charlotte from behind. It seemed as if she would fall face first once again. But Aira reached forward and grabbed the back of Charlotte's neck with one hand and the edge of the table with the other as she stopped her fall and stood right behind Charlotte. "Gue. Belom. Tumbang." Aira let out as the crowd gasp out in shock as she managed to rise before Charlotte managed to put the advantage to use fully. And of course, Aira then let go of the table and grabbed the back of Charlotte's head with both hands. Quickly after that, she used all her might to drive Charlotte's head down face first onto the table!!!

Re: [Tables Match] Charlotte Ravel' vs A I R A - Fire in our hearts and honor in our souls (Apex Qualifier Match)
A great moment. Charlotte couldn't even remember the last time she'd felt something like this. The moment her family kicked her out, she decided to close her heart with a hundred locks. Because of this, she became callous and even cold. She has devoted many years to giving up most emotions. She believed it would help her protect herself. Protect herself from everyone around her. After all, if her own family had caused her so much pain, then it would be much easier for others to do the same. But they won't be able to do it if she doesn't let them into her life.
Therefore, the Frenchwoman devoted her life to martial arts and self-development. Everything else in her life faded into the background. She had forgotten what love was. She had forgotten what friendship was. She had forgotten what it meant to feel supported. From the age of eighteen, Charlotte decided that the only person she could count on was herself.
But now... now she seemed to remember what it means to be a person they can look at with admiration in their eyes. In her memory forever remained a look full of disappointment, with which her parents and sister looked at her at their last meeting. But now she saw something completely different. She could see the admiration in the eyes of the audience who were looking at her. She felt the icy emptiness inside her begin to fill with something warm. The Frenchwoman has been trying to subdue her emotions for many years. But now they overwhelmed her.
And that was her mistake.
A fighter should never be distracted. A fighter should never allow emotions to guide their actions. The reason was simple. Sometimes even one second is enough to turn the tide of a fight. Pro wrestling was a great proof of that. Charlotte knew that. She knew she shouldn't be distracted. But she did it at the moment when, in a fit of emotion, she raised her fist above her head, not making sure that her opponent was still down.
As soon as the pink-haired woman raised her fist, the noise in the arena increased many times. She thought it was a reaction to her action. But she was wrong. It was the reaction to Aira, who got to her feet. The Sand Lizard found out it the second her opponent grabbed her by the neck. It was as if a bucket of cold water had been poured over her. She lowered her guard. She knew she couldn't defend herself now. And she knew it was her own fault.
Hearing the blue-haired woman's words, Charlotte swung her left arm to hit Aira. But it was already too late. Aira tightened her grip with her other hand and then yanked Charlotte's head down. The Sand Lizard did not know Indonesian, but it was not difficult for her to understand exactly what her rival said. Even if Aira hadn't said a word, she would still have known it from the look with which she looked at Charlotte. I'm not down yet. That's what she said.
CRACK...
Charlotte's face slammed into the wooden surface. Her arms, which had been raised before, fell down like two rags. Her legs trembled. And a second later, the Frenchwoman knelt down. A pool of blood began to form where her head touched the table, right under her face. It spread across the wooden surface so rapidly that in a few moments a thin stream of scarlet liquid flowed from the edge of the table directly onto the mat. Two rivers of blood flowed from Charlotte's nostrils. A broken nose easily explained the reason of this.
Should she blame Aira for the stab in the back? Unlikely. Perhaps even she would have done something similar if she had the opportunity. Therefore, there was nothing to blame the blue-haired woman this time. Like Charlotte, she wanted to win. The blame for the fact that the Sand Lizard was now shackled by agony lay only on her. She let the warm emotions distract her. She was distracted and forgot how great the strength of her rival's spirit was. She herself allowed her opponent to turn the course of the match. And it was a great proof that she was right when she decided to lock her heart away from all the emotions that brought joy to ordinary people.

Re: [Tables Match] Charlotte Ravel' vs A I R A - Fire in our hearts and honor in our souls (Apex Qualifier Match)
Aira stood there, looming over Charlotte who knelt down and laid her head against the table. Breathing heavily as she watches her blood pooled up on the table. There wasn't any regret, anyone in this situation would strike back if the situation presents itself. Yet, it was quite heavy to her heart that she had to do this. "Sorry..." She let out softly. Slightly regretting that it have come to this.
Aira then wrapped her arms around Charlotte's waist. Hugging her from behind, taking a deep breath as she doubted she had any strength remaining in her to lift Charlotte up and slam her onto the table directly. Exhaustion slowly crept over her... She thought that maybe she could lay Charlotte over the table and take it to the air. But that requires Charlotte to be out for quite a length of time so that she could land the move cleanly.
With that in mind, Aira then pulled Charlotte off the table and back to her feet. She had one move in mind, one that doesn't rely too much on her remaining strength. But perhaps, it was enough to bring Charlotte down for enough time to lay her across the table and finish the match with a splash to break the table. And with that, Aira then turned Charlotte around!
Aira quickly put Charlotte's arm over her shoulder as she crosses her arm across Charlotte's chest. Gripping firmly on her shoulder as she raise her leg forward. The Indonesian then roared out as her leg swung back to sweep Charlotte's leg and drove her whole body down backfirst to the canvas with a strong STO takedown!

Re: [Tables Match] Charlotte Ravel' vs A I R A - Fire in our hearts and honor in our souls (Apex Qualifier Match)
"Do... something..." Charlotte mentally ordered herself.
But it wasn't that simple. After her face crashed into the wooden table, the Frenchwoman's body seemed to turn into a puppet, which cut off all the strings. She was on her knees, her hands were down, and her head was on the table. The young woman was trying to force herself to move, she was trying to force herself to gather her strength. But her body did not obey her, she could not even raise her hands to grab the edge of the table.
But even all this did not deprive her of sensitivity. She felt agony in every part of her body, especially in her head. Her breathing was weak. She couldn't even breathe with her nose. Her nostrils were filled with blood and she had to inhale and exhale with her mouth. That's what you get when you lose caution at such a moment. Were those warm emotions worth the consequences? A complicated question. Too complicated.
Headache and dizziness, combined with almost complete lack of strength, caused an unpleasant annoying noise in her head. It was like when the TV signal abruptly disappears. Completing the picture was the fact that Charlotte could hear her own pulse in her ears. It was one of the clearest signs that she was on the verge of losing consciousness. So why hasn't she allowed herself to accept defeat yet? Why didn't she relax, sinking into oblivion? These questions were simpler than the previous one. A real fighter never gives up. Charlotte's willpower was still strong and she couldn't accept defeat.
However, her willpower did not save her from what Aira had prepared for her. Even though there was a buzz in her head, she heard the words of the blue-haired woman. Regret? Now? Charlotte found it hard to believe in the sincerity of this. The reason was simple. There is no place for regret in the ring. In the ring, everyone wants to win. And it's unlikely Aira would have broken her nose in such a cruel way if she really felt regret about it.
When the Indonesian woman grabbed her waist and started lifting her, Charlotte tried to open her eyes. If earlier she could see at least something through the fog, now there was only an impenetrable white veil before her eyes. Now that her head was in an upright position, it was possible to see what her face had turned into. There was a cut at the top of her nasal septum, blood was smeared all over the Frenchwoman's face. Two streams of blood flowed out of her nostrils, which fell on her sports top and the mat. Charlotte didn't look capable of putting up any resistance to what Aira was preparing for her.
And it was true. No matter how much she wanted to do anything, she even stood on her feet only because the blue-haired woman supported her. So nothing stopped Aira from turning her around and then grabbing her shoulder. Charlotte didn't even need to see anything at that moment. Whatever her rival was up to, she was incapable to stop it.
In the next second, the Sand Lizard felt the ground go out from under her feet. Her body abruptly leaned back and rushed down. The pink-haired woman collapsed on the mat. Her mouth opened and a few drops of blood flew out, after which she remained motionless. Darkness blanketed her mind and the only thing she had left was the indescribable pain that filled her body. With this throw, Aira seemed to finally knock the whole spirit out of her.

Re: [Tables Match] Charlotte Ravel' vs A I R A - Fire in our hearts and honor in our souls (Apex Qualifier Match)
Aira stopped herself on all fours after taking Charlotte down to the canvas. The crowd roared in cheers when she drove Charlotte down to the canvas. Rising up to a kneeling position, she glanced around the crowd. Slightly in disbelief that the crowd shows their support towards her, she wanted to bask in the cheer but as she glanced to Charlotte. It was evident that this has gone along to her plan.
"SShhhaaaaaaa!!!" Aira roared out to the crowd as she rose back up to her feet. Stumbling forward to the table and gripped the end of the table to stop herself from falling. She looked down to the table which was draped with Charlotte's blood. Taking a deep breath, she had to close down her feelings, but... She couldn't help but to wipe off the blood on the table with her hand. Splattering it to the canvas as that's what she could only do given that she only had her hands and nothing else to clean the table.
Aira then crosses her arms together and her hands clutched her arm as she took a glance back to Charlotte. There was a slight moment of hesitation in her as that... She wanted to win, but... Hurting Charlotte like this... No, she have to shake that feeling off. Aira then grabbed the ends of the table and slowly drags it towards the corner. The crowd could tell her intent when she dragged the table. They started a rhythm of claps in the buildup to the match ender.
Even if Aira wanted to shake it off, there was this slight guilt in her. A drop of tear formed on the edge of her eyes as she sets the table in position. She wiped her eyes with the back of her hand as she turned around. Her hands, stained with Charlotte's blood, her arm was imprinted with a hand mark of that very blood.
It's time to close it, Aira sluggishly walked back to Charlotte and grabs her wrist. The Indonesian then pulled the French up to her feet and dragged her along towards the table. She then pushed Charlotte to the table and laid her across the table face up. Taking the time to lay her whole body on the table. Placing her arms on top of the table. "Sorry... I have to win..." Aira let out once again, showing her regret before she sluggishly walked around the table and goes to the corner.
She turned around to face Charlotte as she reached the corner. Her hands gripping the rope. Aira then began her climb up as her feet left the canvas and steps on the bottom rope. Her body shaking as she slowly ascends the corner ropes. And as her feet laid on the top rope, Aira then rises up and slowly let her hands go of the top rope.
The crowd waited in anticipation as Aira stood up firmly on the top rope. Her heart beating fast as victory was close to her. She's now only have to claim it! Taking a few deep breaths to calm herself as she looked towards the target, which was Charlotte who were laying on top of the table. Aira closed her eyes for a moment before opening it back and took the leap off the top rope!!! In the mid air, Aira crosses her body so that she would land her splash cleanly on Charlotte right on the center of the table... Intending to end this match in a spectacular way with a powerful splash on Charlotte that'll break the table in half upon impact!!!
Re: [Tables Match] Charlotte Ravel' vs A I R A - Fire in our hearts and honor in our souls (Apex Qualifier Match)
"Giving up so soon?" the master asked.
Charlotte wiped the blood from her chin and opened her eyes. The bright sun blinded her for a moment. She didn't even think that her training would go so far. It wasn't like anything she'd been through before. Here, in the Chinese monastery, she tried to become a real fighter. But she didn't even think that she would have to go through so much pain.
"I'm waiting for an answer," the master said.
The blonde gritted her teeth and rolled over on her stomach. Her face contorted because of the pain in her ribs, but she still forced herself to get up on all fours. However, she did not find the strength to get to her feet, all she could do was get up on one knee. The girl hugged her chest with her left arm, something told her that several of her ribs were cracked.
"Why continue to fight if I have no chance to win?" she asked.
The Frenchwoman wasn't sure if she was conscious after her opponent's last throw. The pain was still with her, but it was as if she was separated from her body. She wanted to move at least a finger, but she remained motionless. Besides the pain, she felt cold. Her skin, covered with her own blood, seemed to have turned to ice.
Continuing to lie on the mat, Charlotte hardly heard anything. All the sounds have become too quiet. She tried to concentrate in order to hear at least something. And what she heard made her understand what was happening beyond the darkness that enveloped her. The audience was chanting her rival's name. Aira completely turned the course of the match in her favor and now she was the favorite. The sounds became barely audible again...
"You still can't see," the master said, shaking his head. "That's why you still haven't coped with watering the trees."
"But this!.." Charlotte flared up, but immediately fell silent because the louder she spoke, the more pain there was in her ribs. "But this is completely different, no one hits me like a punching bag while I'm trying to water trees, and now I can't even hit you back because your level is much higher."
The master came closer to the blonde and looked into her eyes. Charlotte pursed her lips, but did not turn away, answering the master with a direct look. The man looked as if not at Charlotte, but as if through her. But she wasn't going to break that silence.
"Then I shouldn't wait for you the day after tomorrow, right?" he asked.
"You should!" the blonde was surprised. "I'll come."
"Why?"
"What do you mean why?" she began to get angry. "To try to beat you."
"So why can't you try right now?"
Charlotte felt a grip on her right wrist. She knew it was Aira. Her rival dragged her somewhere like a sack of potatoes from a farmer's fair. And although the pink-haired woman's mind was in darkness now, her instincts told her what was going to happen next. Was there any chance she was wrong?
Aira threw Charlotte's body on the table. The young woman did not express any resistance, her eyes were still closed. And even when she was on the table, she did absolutely nothing. Her head involuntarily turned to the side. And even though the blood from her nose had slowed down, the scarlet liquid was still leaving her body. She wanted to do something, but she just couldn't. She had lost too much strength. She lost her chance to win after being attacked from behind.
The blue-haired woman's words pierced her ears. Even if she could look at her opponent, she didn't know how she should react to it. Why all these apologies? For a broken nose? Because Charlotte's blood was practically everywhere right now? Yes, most matches end without such cruel consequences. Why? Because most fighters run out of strength much earlier than it comes to something like this. But not in Charlotte's case...
"I have almost no strength left, I feel pain in my ribs!" the girl exclaimed. "The day after tomorrow I will be fine and I will be able to try to win with fresh strength!"
"And who said that you will have another opportunity?" the master asked shrewdly.
"What?" the blonde did not understand.
"You think you can always try again," he said. "Perseverance is good, perseverance tempers the strength of the spirit, perseverance makes you stronger." The Master smiled slightly. "But what if you don't get a second try?"
Charlotte forced her eyes open. Just in time to see the blurry silhouette of her rival. Aira started climbing the ropes. She was preparing to end it all. The Frenchwoman ordered herself to move, but she couldn't even move a finger. Bloodied, she just lay on the table waiting for her end...
"What do you mean?" the blonde did not understand.
"Exactly what I just said," the master shook his head. "Life doesn't always give you a second chance, especially when it comes to fighting."
"But..."
"You've been here for three months," the master's voice changed and became more serious. "You came here to become a real fighter, but do you understand what it means to be a real fighter?"
"It means to master the skill so well that no one can surpass you," Charlotte replied.
Feeling the salty taste of blood in her mouth, Charlotte seemed to sink into despair. She could try to justify herself by saying that she received a mean blow at the beginning of the match. She could try to justify herself by saying that Aira attacked her from behind. But honor did not allow her to do this. The path she chose did not allow her to look for excuses.
And then the moment came. The arena was filled with a deafening shout from the audience. And the reason for this was as clear as the sun in the summer sky. Aira gathered her strength and jumped. Jumped forward in order to fall on Charlotte and break the table with her body. Jumped forward in order to get the victory...
"You're wrong, girl," the master clenched his fist and looked into her eyes again. "Remember that there are no invincibles, and even if you master all the martial arts of the world, it won't make you the strongest, it won't make you a real fighter." The Master took a step towards her. "So tell me, what does it mean to be a real fighter?"
She finally understood what the master wanted to convey to her. You don't always get a second chance. You can't always try again tomorrow. There are no invincibles. And when it comes to fighting, it only matters what you're willing to do to win. It only matters what you are willing to go through to prove that you are the strongest. After all, if a master who has mastered all martial arts sees steadfastness in your eyes, sees in your eyes that you will never give up, they will understand that they has no chance.
"It means to keep fighting, no matter what, no matter the pain, no matter the circumstances, being a real fighter means never backing down and always going to the end," Charlotte said, getting to her feet.
Under the master's encouraging smile, she took a fighting stance to continue the fight.
"Never forget it."
Right. There are no invincibles. There is always an opportunity to win. The only question is, what are you willing to do in order to win? Do you have enough strength to overcome the pain? Do you have the courage to continue fighting, no matter what? Right. She didn't come this way to lose today. She didn't come this way to be defeated because of a low blow and a stab in the back. She didn't get a broken nose in order to then let Aira break the table with her body.
Overcoming the pain, Charlotte moved her right hand to the side. Resisting the agony, she grabbed the edge of the table. The path of a real fighter. She chose this. She chose it because she wanted to become a better version of herself. She chose it because her life was inextricably linked with martial arts. And she was ready to go forward. Forward to victory. Forward to the openweight title. Holding her breath, the Sand Lizard pulled on the edge of the table with her right hand, forcing herself to roll to the side. The next second, she groaned because of the pain, but it wasn't important. The important thing was that she rolled off the table.

Re: [Tables Match] Charlotte Ravel' vs A I R A - Fire in our hearts and honor in our souls (Apex Qualifier Match)
This is it... This is Aira's time to shine. Standing there on top of the corner with her eyes aiming towards Charlotte who laid on the table. With a deep breath. Aira took the leap! Her body spread on the air as she reaches the apex. Intending to crush Charlotte under her weight and break the table to clinch her win. Surely... Her win is within reach. Inching in closer as she fall down across the table. Finally she can wrap up this grueling battle...
If only it were that easy.
In the last moment, Charlotte managed to slid herself off the table. Causing Aira to land down roughly across the table and broke the table herself! And without Charlotte cushioning her harsh landing. Aira painfully landed on the canvas and laid there as pain courses throughout her body. Aira widen her eyes and held onto her stomach. "GAAHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAA----!!!" She screamed out in pain as she reactively raise up to her knees only to fall back to the side. Tears flowing down her eyes.
"GGnnnrrrhhhhhmmmhhhh..." She held onto the pain and looked over towards Charlotte. She wanted to fight back once again... But the pain throughout her body overwhelms her that she couldn't move her body as she wished. She tried to rise back up only to fall down once again. She doesn't want to give up... But her body wouldn't listen... Though, this match have been harsh on her, both physically and mentally. Her frustration welled up as she tried to suppress the overwhelming pain. How!? How can she win after this!?

Re: [Tables Match] Charlotte Ravel' vs A I R A - Fire in our hearts and honor in our souls (Apex Qualifier Match)
Many people think that the most difficult thing is to break a pin. Yes, it really takes a lot of willpower, especially at the end of the match. However, only fighters really understand that breaking a pin is not the most difficult thing. The most difficult thing is to find the strength to continue fighting after that. Now there was absolutely the same situation.
The Sand Lizard rolled off the table. Her body fell onto the mat and she rolled one more time before stopping face down. But she didn't jump to her feet after that as if she was full of energy. Not at all. The pink-haired woman made great efforts to simply not lose consciousness due to fatigue and the damage that her body received.
However, her efforts were not in vain. The best proof of this was the deafening crackling of wood that filled the entire arena. But then another sound filled Charlotte's ears. Aira's heartbreaking scream. Because of the unsuccessful attack, the blue-haired woman went through the table and it was difficult to imagine the severity of the consequences she faced.
Most of the audience was shocked by this turn of events, because everything indicated that Charlotte's defeat in this match was inevitable. But there were also those who literally could not look at what was happening to the Indonesian woman. She fell on the table from a great height with no less tremendous speed. The mat and wooden splinters were waiting for her there. Far from the best combination. But it was a match. And Charlotte's desire to win was no less than that of her rival.
Gritting her teeth, the Frenchwoman raised her head to look at the still screaming Aira. The blue-haired woman held on to her injured stomach, but at the same time tried to get to her feet. However, the pain stopped her every time, as a result of which she remained on the mat. Charlotte saw tears running down her rival's face.
"Get up..." she said out loud in a hoarse voice.
Did she say that to herself or to Aira? To both of them. The match is not over yet. Each of them was close enough to victory. And each of them missed the victory out of their hands. But now it's time to end it all. Now that they were both at the limit of their abilities, it was time to find out which of them was worthy of becoming the winner.
The Sand Lizard placed her palms on the mat near her head. The moment she strained her arms, her face contorted with pain. Every cell of her body was burning in agony, it was best seen in her eyes. But, barely restraining her groans, the pink-haired woman got up on all fours, and then, making another effort, she got up on one knee.
Although not with such intensity, blood was still dripping from her nose. Because of this, Charlotte could only breathe through her mouth. The whole body, from the face to the shins, was covered with blood and sweat. Her career in LAW began not so long ago, it's true. But Charlotte was ready to say that she had never been so beaten up in her life before. As if completing this image, her hair tie slid down. Charlotte's hair became loose and several strands stained with blood and sweat fell on her face.
Resisting the pain, the Sand Lizard rose to her feet and straightened to her full height. Because of the terrible fatigue, she staggered. It was only when she put her right foot back a step that she was able to find the balance. It was difficult to describe the atmosphere in the arena at that moment. The audience was amazed by the progress of this match, they clearly did not expect to see such a confrontation today. But now they were equally supportive of both Aira and Charlotte. They knew the end was near.
Charlotte knew that too. She could have tried to pounce on Aira right there, on the mat. But she wanted to do everything properly. Everyone deserved it. She. Aira. Audience. Therefore, despite all the pain and fatigue, the Sand Lizard clenched her fists. she raised the right one to the level of her chin, and the left one remained at the level of the middle of her torso. Her arms and legs were shaking, it was impossible not to notice that she was barely standing on her feet. But Charlotte was going to give her opponent the last fight that would determine the winner of this incredible match.

Re: [Tables Match] Charlotte Ravel' vs A I R A - Fire in our hearts and honor in our souls (Apex Qualifier Match)
Aira laid down, holding onto her stomach. It hurts... Everything, how rough she landed without any cushion... Tiny splinters of the wooden table piercing her skin. Her body was screaming to her mind to stop. She would've keep laying down until...
"Get up..."
She heard what Charlotte let out. Why? She realized that Charlotte could've picked up the chance and put her down the table once again to close out the match. After all, that's what Aira did earlier... Why would Charlotte...? She was puzzled in reaction to the call. But it does brings out the drive for her to push through as her hands clutches onto the canvas.
"Why...?" The Indonesian let out as she pushes herself up slowly behind Charlotte. Kneeling up while holding onto her hurting stomach, she looked up to Charlotte. Her expression holds the pain in her body and a slight contempt on Charlotte for not taking advantage on the chance presented. She understood that she had brought herself into a situation where Charlotte could put the advantage on but... The decision not to take it makes her wonder.
"You had a chance... Why did you not take it?" She continued with contempt. She felt almost as if Charlotte would guilt trip Aira for taking the advantage on the chance presented earlier. "Why!?" She raised her tone, one feet planted to the canvas as she pushed her knees to rise even more. Planting her two feet right after. But she immediately stumbled to the side. "You could've ended this already! Why!?" She managed to keep herself on her feet even though her stance was already wobbly.
"I wouldn't hate you if you take advantage of my mistake, so why didn't you do it!?" She asked again, she then slowly let go of her stomach and put her hands up to her stance, although barely. "WHY!?" She questioned again and again, but with the last question. She immediately spurs into action as she steps towards Charlotte and with her emotion overwhelming her mind... She once again goes for a rather wild, undisciplined and very telegraphed strike. Her motion made a huge arc as her fist swung in. Intending to hit Charlotte with a very wild haymaker that Charlotte could read easily...
