Return of an Old Friend

Unread post by TickTock »

Many years ago, there were two girls at a German wrestling school. Two young women who wanted to learn the ropes, and became friends along the way. They were well-built, and each other's physiques, along with their love of the sport brought the two together, and their training extended beyond the classes frequently. One was always better than the other, but the other was able to tolerate that. That one was taller and heavier, quicker and stronger, and thus always beat her friend. It was all fun and games, until that friend suddenly left--not just the school, but the country, and the two never saw each other again despite the deep bond they shared during those months of training.

Until now.

Lena Mei-Xing was far removed from those days at that German wrestling school. She couldn't even remember the name of it, if she was being honest. But the memories inside the gym were as clear as day. Men and women occupied the classes, including a woman known as Tina Meyer, but all of them seemed invisible in comparison to the incomparable Karen Adams. Karen had a gift and knew it, and thus she honed that gift until she became a star, and signed to LAW, while Lena...

No matter. Any difficulties were past her now, despite the pang in her heart. She had made it, finally. Years she had doubted she could become a big name wrestler, and the constant training she did and the strain she put on her body, finally Lena got signed to a big name company in LAW. And the sentiment wasn't lost on her, being signed to the very same company as Karen Adams.

It pained her to think of them reuniting, knowing the reasons of why she left in the first place, but Lena knew it was something she had to do. And in addition, the last show before she was officially signed, Karen Adams had a match on. Lena watched that match diligently, having watched many before, but this one being different for all the wrong reasons. Facing Kathleen Hendricks, the woman who called herself the Queen of Domination ambushed Karen from behind, knocking her in the head, and proceeded to brutally target it for all of the match.

It was clear that Karen was injured early on, but she did her best to fight through. But unfortunately, that injury was too much to overcome and Kathleen dominated her, ending her with a sickening piledriver that made Lena bite her tongue watching. Her being stretchered out was heartbreaking, bleeding from a cut to her head, and her attire showing off the bruises to her stomach and chest. Lena knew she needed to check on Karen, now that she was signed. Seeing her vulnerable and hurt like that, it broke her heart..

Now, here she was. Karen had suffered from a concussion from all the attacks to her head. She'd miss a lot of time, but doctors told her that she was expected to make a full recovery, with no lingering damage after her recovery. Along with that, she had abdominal bruising that needed some time to simmer and fade, and the cut on her head needing a few stitches, but were set to be removed rather quickly. But still, knowing the competitive spirit of Karen, Lena knew she'd want to get back into the ring, to get revenge on that monster of a woman who had destroyed her, and could use the presence of an old friend.

Finding her locker room, Lena took in a deep breath, before slowly opening up the door and walking inside. All of her anxiety over the meeting, she had to confront it now and just get it over with. All she could hope for, is that her old friend remembered her and didn't hold a grudge over Lena abandoning her without a word. "Karen..? Y-You remember me? It's Lena.."

When the fight was over, the medics went to work. Karen regained consciousness, but was completely destroyed and weakened. So the medics on a stretcher took Karen from the ring and carried her to the locker room. The doctor examined her injuries closely and found that Karen had suffered a concussion from all the attacks on her head.

Nevertheless, the doctor told her that she was expected to fully recover, with no permanent damage after recovery. This information seemed to reach Karen through a fog, but she was hopeful. Karen also had bruises on her stomach which would certainly take a while to heat up and fade away, and the gash on her head required a few stitches but was going to be removed fairly quickly. Karen would definitely need a rest now. Kathleen turned out to be a very demanding and difficult opponent. Despite the experience and many years of training, the German lost this very brutal match, but now it was not important to her.

The most important thing was to heal the wounds, rest in order to be able to start training again and rebuild in time. As Karen lay in the locker room, her eyes seemed to be closed and she was thinking about something. Pain still seemed to be felt. The cloakroom door seemed to open and someone enters. Karen was still lying and resting. It seemed as if she heard a voice, a strangely familiar voice. A voice that she remembers from her old days, when she was still in Germany and trained at that wrestling school. It seemed impossible, she thought it was a dream. She opened her eyes gently and saw her old friend Lena standing next to her. Karen, despite the pain she still felt as if she smiled gently and said, "It's you ... that's impossible ... after all you ... walked away ..."

Karen seemed to close her eyes once again because she didn't believe what she saw. Suddenly she remembered everything that used to be. Old wrestling school. Her friendship with Lena. Joint fights and training. Especially the bond she once had with Lena. She still did not believe that what she saw now could be true ...

Lena wasn't sure what she was expecting. Karen was said to be concussed after all, so she didn't know if she'd even recognize her, with her head injury plus all the time away. And if she DID recognize her, how would she react? Happiness, sadness... anger? It was scary to think of, and made her hold back on trying to meet with Karen before, but now... now she really didn't have a choice. Her friend would find out eventually that Lena had joined the roster, so better she meet her now on her own terms, than her finding out via social media or the like.

So now, here she was, standing over her friend who was quite injured, and when she opened her eyes, Lena did her best to smile, to seem like the bubbly girl she was before, someone that Karen could recognize. But it was difficult, with all her emotions battling inside her head, making her body tremble just a bit. And when Karen spoke, she felt grief stab into her heart, that Karen wouldn't even believe that she had returned.

"I know, but... I'm back. I really am," Lena said, approaching Karen now, and letting a soft hand caress the cheek of the German's. Her thumb slowly stroking along the skin. It pained her to see her friend in such a weak state, having been dominated in the ring like that... and thus she hoped that her touch would comfort her old friend, her eyes peering down onto Karen's.

"I'm in LAW now. I... I worked really hard to get here, and now I am, Karen," Lena said. "You just have to believe me. There's a lot that we can talk about..." she continued in trying to convince her friend, feelings bubbling up inside her and her muscles twitching, yet her touch remained as soft as can be, treating her injured friend as gently as she could, with her fingers tenderly rubbing along her cheek.

Karen was still lying there and it seemed as if she was resting and recuperating. It still didn't seem to reach her what she saw. Was it a dream or did she really see Lena. Then she heard the familiar voice once again. She heard her old friend say that she was really here, that she trained hard and that she was here, and that she would like to talk longer.

Then Karen felt like her friend's hand, lightly touching and rubbing against her cheek. Karen once again seemed to slightly move, she opened her eyes: "It's you ... ..you are here ......" Karen still felt weak as the damage she received in the last fight was quite strong. Certainly, the German woman would like to continue listening to her friend talk and she is around here. She would like to know as much as possible about her old friend, where she was during this time, what she did, how she came to Tokyo and now she intends to fight here….

Certainly there are a lot of topics she would like to raise ... But will she be able to answer all of this at this point ... she could certainly listen to the whole story, but she wouldn't be able to say too much on her own because the shock she received during the fight was still felt ... But the curiosity was also huge ... I would surely need such a really good friend here to help Karen recover, regain strength, and then help with training and regaining the best possible form to be able to continue fighting in the ring and achieve the best results …

Lena felt the emotion bubble up in her throat, resisting the urge to let out a whimper as Karen looked into her eyes and realized what she was saying was real. She had tried to prepare herself for this moment, for this reunion, but it was real now, and now Lena wasn't sure how to handle herself. And there was also another emotion bubbling up in her chest, as she looked into those eyes. It made her think back to when the two were young, in that wrestling school.

Karen was always so... physically impressive. Immaculate. Her tan skin gleaming with sweat after each workout, always having such a shining smile after her practice matches. And yet, while she looked so vulnerable here, injured... she was still gorgeous. And Lena felt her cheeks heat up to a blush when she realized what she was feeling. "Karen... I missed you so much..." she breathed, her body hot, as she began to lean her head down, lowering her face to get close to Karen's. Almost as if--

But before anything could be done, a hand grabbed onto the shoulder of Lena and pulled her back. And that same hand grabbed onto the attire of Karen's, yanking her out of her resting place violently, and slamming her against a wall! Pinning her there, this woman was one that nearly matched Karen in terms of height and muscles, yet clearly possessed great enough strength to lift her up and toss her around. With brown skin, black hair in a ponytail, and brown eyes piercing, this woman stared hard at Karen, yet she held none of the softness and care that Lena had before her. If anything, she looked as though she hated the woman in front of her.

"Oh, how I've been waiting for this moment," she said in a harsh tone, keeping Karen shoved up against that wall.

"Indra!" Lena shouted, running up and placing a hand onto the shoulder of the attacker, one seemingly named Indra. "Stop! This isn't what I wanted!"

Indra turned her head to look at Lena, her face remaining stoic, but questioning. "Is it not?" Indra countered with a pinch of sharpness to her tone, before looking back at the German in her hands.

"You and I. Last Woman Standing. You will pay for what you did to her," she said with a small snarl, before dropping Karen, and beginning to walk away, leading to Lena running up and check on her long-lost friend.

"I'm so sorry about that! Are you okay?" she asked, kneeling next to Karen.

Despite the pain and weakness she still felt, Karen wanted to hug her friend. Suddenly she remembered everything. Tears of happiness seemed to well up in her eyes. It was an amazing feeling. See me after years. They would have so much to talk about, Karen would like to know everything that happened with Lena during the time the girls had no contact with each other, what she did and where she stayed for so long ... A smile of happiness appeared on Karen's face ... The German would close her eyes and try like going back to those distant times...

Suddenly, Karen felt something violently grab her by the outfit and with great force tear her from the place where she was lying and trying to recover. This enormous force seemed to throw her and press her against the wall. Karen was so weak she couldn't defend herself. Her pupils dilated. There was fury and fear in his eyes at the same time. Her back hit the wall. Karen saw a huge, athletic, and very heavy, muscular woman in front of her. Karen didn't know this girl at all. Brown skin, black hair and brown eyes full of anger and rage clearly meant that this foreign girl was Asian, maybe from India???

It seemed as if Karen was trying to free herself, or so she thought, but she would be too weak to make any move. Suddenly she heard the name of Indra. How huge was her surprise when she heard that word from Lena's mouth. Disbelief, consternation and confusion. The first thing she thought: "You two know each other???" Karen was gasping for breath, sweat quickly pouring out of her body as she was still weak.
Then Lena seemed to say something that she didn't want. This surprised the German even more. Lena and the strange woman exchanged glances. Then Karen heard this massive and muscular girl as if challenging her to a duel. Additionally, as if demanding revenge. Karen without much thought, interrupted voice as if screamed in pain and anger: "I don't know...!!!! I do not know who you are….!!!! But I swear……I will destroy you….!!! I will destroy you….I swear…!!!!”

Then this strange woman sort of released Karen. The German woman slid down and seemed to be sitting with her back against the wall, gasping for breath. She still didn't understand what had happened. Just then, Lena ran over to her. Karen kind of choked as she said, “You…..and that woman…..she is….” It was at that moment that Karen closed her eyes, still feeling faint and in need of rest...

Lena was scared this would happen. She had a suspicion it would happen eventually, she just hoped it wasn't right now, when Karen was so vulnerable and they were just reuniting. Of course Karen did not back down when she was pinned against the wall, despite it being clear that she was unable to defend herself thanks to her injuries, and Lena could only silently beg that Indra would leave it at that.

And thankfully, she did, exiting the room, but not before shooting Lena a look. A knowing one. But the brunette couldn't worry about that, as she immediately went to the side of Karen's, checking in on her. As much as Lena did want to tell her old friend about what had happened and why, she didn't have the heart to do it right now. Especially when the German was so woozy, to which the Japanese woman threw Karen's arm over her shoulder and lifted her back up.

Carrying her over, Lena placed her injured friend back onto her resting place, her hand once more gently stroking her cheek. "You just need to rest right now, okay?" she told Karen, grief overtaking her in this moment, as she realized what was soon to occur. There was no way she'd be able to talk either woman out of it, now that both had accepted. Both were too competitive and too driven to back down from a challenge.

"Just rest, that's all you need to worry about right now..." Lena murmured, before a doctor rushed into the room. Seemed word had spread of the locker room encounter, and one of LAW's doctors made their way back into the room. "Thank you, miss, but I'll take it from here," they informed Lena, who merely nodded her head and backed away, letting Karen get tended to and checked on. "I'll... I'll be in touch, Karen," was Lena's final words to her old friend, before slowly departing the room.

The match had been set now, and Lena was terrified of what was to occur. Last Woman Standing, with two women who refused to give up? Two powerful women who could wreck anyone on the roster if they wanted to?

Seeing Karen so vulnerable already made her seem so... human, capable of being harmed. She was immortal in that wrestling school, but now, it was clear that she had limits. And Indra...

It was going to be a war, and Lena could only hope it wasn't one that'd kill them.

As Karen slid down, she closed her eyes. She was still weak. She didn't quite understand what had happened here. She didn't know this strange woman. But she was ready to fight and destroy her. Only if her health improved, would she be willing to train and destroy this strange woman who had intruded here, out of nowhere and out of nowhere. Fortunately, an old friend of hers approached her, grabbed her arm, and helped her up. A moment later, Karen slowly and labored back to where she had been lying and resting.

Apparently Lena was talking to her, but Karen still seemed to be thinking about this strange woman who had come here and disturbed not only the peace, but also interrupted the meeting and conversation with an old friend Karen had met after many years. The event stuck in her mind. She knew that if she recovered, she would devote time to intensive training, and when she was strong enough and healthy enough, she would take up this fight and destroy this strange woman. That was the most important thing to her right now. It kind of motivated her to get better as soon as possible, get back on her feet and fight this girl…

Most likely, the commotion was so great that the doctor who soon appeared in the room heard everything and immediately ran to Karen, checking her condition. Fortunately, nothing serious happened. Her old friend was with her. The LAW doctor, however, decided that now her friend should leave the room. Apparently, Lena would be leaving. Karen opened her eyes for a moment and looked towards the door where her friend would be.

Karen had a very serious job now. Get well and recover as soon as possible. Then practice and train and as soon as possible take up the challenge and fight this alien woman in a Last Woman Standing match and destroy her, humiliate her in front of the audience and above all in front of her old friend - Lena ...
