Jason Lee vs Yukino Fuyumi: Singles Match Pinfall or Submission

Jason gets ready for his match against Yukino and starts walking over to the ramp and starts going to the wrestling ring and steps in and walks over to my corner and waits for his opponent.

Now that Nashi had begun to get her foot in the door in LAW, appearing in a number of singles matches, Yukino knew that she needed to follow suit. The former idol duo still had plans to reunite at one anothers' sides in a tag team at some point, of course - but until the time was right for them to make their tag debut, Yukino knew she also had to get a few matches in to make sure she wouldn't fall behind. If they were going to bring their fame to the wrestling world, they needed to keep themselves out there in the spotlight, and Yukino wanted to be sure people would still know her name!

That was why she had volunteered to be booked in whatever matches the promoters saw fit. She was a little nervous - after all, she didn't know if that would end up getting her into trouble if she was put up against an opponent she couldn't keep up with. When she saw that she would be competing in an intergender match, that also concerned her; she gulped when she thought back on how Nashi's only match against a male opponent hadn't gone so well for her. At least she knew this wasn't a POW match, so she wouldn't have to worry about anything bad happening if she lost...

Yukino's music hit, and she took a step out into the spotlight, greeted by the cheers of all the fans who had come to support her. She turned her head to the sky and clenched a fist tighter, taking in a deep breath. Mentally, she pledged to do her best, to make sure that everyone got what they hoped to see from her. Then, she turned to the ring, making her way down the ramp to climb through the ropes and meet her opponent face to face.

Jason smile at Yukino and walks over to the center of the ring and gives her a handshake and waits for the bell to ring

Well, so far, everything seemed to be going well enough. Yukino didn't know much about her opponent, or what to expect from him, but he seemed to be nice enough if he was willing to open this with a friendly handshake. Nodding her head, the white-haired girl stepped a little closer, placing her hand in his to return the gesture. She still had to keep her guard up - she didn't know what she was in store for in this match - but she at least had hope. "So, uh...I'm Yukino," she said softly. "Let's have a good match, all right?"

*DING DING DING*

As soon as the bell rang, Yukino was ready. She dropped down into a stance, bending at the knees and holding up her hands, readying herself to take Jason on in a lockup. This would let her feel out what he was capable of, and what she could expect from the pace of this match. But she still held firmly to his hands and gave a push, wanting to exert some force of her own!

Jason than gets pushed into the ropes with Yukino and tries to push her back.

From the start of the match, Yukino was quick to notice that she seemed to be having an effect on her opponent. Even when she was new to the ring, she could still find the strength she needed to force him back toward the ropes - and at the thought of that, she flashed a grin. When she was capable of holding her own against a wrestler who - she assumed - had more experience on her, Yukino took that as a side that she was going places! But soon, she could feel him even out the pressure as he pushed back at her, forcing her to take a step back. Her teeth clenched and her brow furrowed into a glare as she bent at the knees, bracing herself against such force. Now, she could see this wouldn't be so simple. But in that case, she just had to keep up the fight!

Still holding onto Jason by the arms, Yukino would lift one leg, attempting to throw a powerful kick into his side!

Jason grunts and let goes of Yukino and stumbles back holding his side and glares at her.

[CaptainL]

Now that Yukino had landed a blow against Jason's side, she had been granted a moment to catch her breath. She knew she would need it - her opponent was keeping her on her toes, and when she was still unproven in the ring, she needed to take every chance she could get to keep things in her favor if she wanted to succeed. She rubbed at her head as she took in a deep breath - but now, when she looked back up at Jason, her fist balled tighter with defiance and determination. Now that she had managed to score a blow against her opponent, she had to keep pushing the advantage!

Soon enough, Yukino was back on her feet, coming running toward Jason to close in on him. When she got into range, she would jump up and grab for his head, attempting to pull him off his feet with a bulldog!

Jason grunts as he got hit with a bulldog and rolls on his back and tries to get up.

The crowd lit up with a cheer as Yukino hit her move, dragging Jason down to the mat after her. She could feel the ring shake under their impact, and as she rode with the motion to roll upward into a seated position, a grin flashed across her face - she was sure that had hit hard, and she was even more excited to look up at the cheering fans knowing full well that every one of them was fully in support of her efforts! It had been with considerable deliberation that Yukino had made the decision to become a wrestler; she didn't know if anyone would accept her, or if it would only lead to disaster. But if she was able to win this many cheers with any move she did, she knew she had to be doing something right!

Unfortunately for Yukino, Jason seemed to be tougher than she'd given him credit for. Though the landing had clearly winded him, he was still able to throw himself over to the side, getting a short distance away from his opponent before starting to sit up. She huffed, thinking to herself that she was going to need more than that to bring him down. Climbing back to her feet, Yukino was encouraged by her prior success to strike while the iron was hot - and she would run up behind Jason, looking to grab him by the arms in order to pull him back into a Nelson hold!
