Lyra Heartfield vs. Helena DuBois (Apex Qualifying Match)

Lyra looked at Helena struggling to get in the ring and groaned as the Canadian heel barely made it back in. The fortune teller hoped a count out was possible, but not right now it seems and she would have to rethink her way to win. She thought maybe her submission finisher could do the trick as she walked over to Helena grabbing her legs hoping to drag her to the middle. The crowd cheered loudly as Lyra stepped through and tried for her ultimate weapon, The Orion Lock (Sharpshooter)!

Helena was being dragged by the legs to the middle of the ring, that could only mean one thing: A nasty submission hold awaited. As Helena was dragged she laid limp and let herself get to the center. However once the dragging stopped Helena would quickly coil her legs towards her own chest then explode outward, thrusting and trying to smash Lyra in the chest as hard as she could to prevent whatever hold awaited her from being locked in!

Lyra then tried to lock in the Orion Lock and tried crossing Helena’s legs together to complete the next step, but Helena mustered enough strength to tuck her legs in and slam into the chest of her opponent! Lyra was sent flying into the ropes, but she tried getting back at Helena with a swift elbow drop on the chest to avoid going back on the defense.

Helena heard the footsteps coming and saw Lyra in the air. She rolled hard to the side and smiled knowing that Lyra was going to crash hard to the ground! Helena tried to get back to her feet quickly so she could pounce. She wanted to hit now, and hit hard. Helena would grab Lyra from behind and clasp her hands together. "Dear you really need to learn..." Helena hissed as she lift Lyra up trying to smash her to the mat with a German suplex!

Lyra would hit a bare canvas with her elbow as she cried out in pain, but wouldn’t have the chance to nurse her wound as Helena pulled her up by the waist. Helena hit Lyra with a devastating German Suplex as Lyra shot her legs upwards and flipped over on her stomach!

Helena smiled as she planted Lyra, keeping her back bridged as she attempted to pin her opponent. "She is done get this over with!" Helena cried out as the official slid in to place to count.

"ONE!"

“TWO!”

Lyra only had a spilt second before the referee raised her hand for the third and final count that would put Helena as the winner. She shifted her body down as fast as she could breaking Helena’s grip on her waist so she could land on her feet. However, it would be a reversal pin as Lyra hunkered her body weight on Helena’s head and shoulders pinning her down!

Helena was absolutely mind boggled about how Lyra pulled off this reversal and she was stuck! However she thrust hard to the side just before two to break the pin and keep the match going. Helena wanted to really get her hands on this little brat.....

"Okay.... if this is how you want it to be..." Helena hissed as she got to her feet swinging her leg up and trying to hammer Lyra in the face with a big boot!

[Pegasus]

Lyra would see her foe’s boot come up to her face as she caught the foot on the way up. She then pushed Helena on her back and grabbed the other leg as the crowd cheered loudly. Lyra then held both legs as she raised her right foot for five straight kicks into the gut.

Helena was in shock as Lyra simply grabbed her foot and then shoved her on her back, proceeding to stomp away at a stunned Helena leaving her once again on the back foot and seeming to struggle against this woman! To say that Helena was infuriated and embarrassed was a bit of an understatement.
