Nashi nodded and got into the ring once again. She ran laps with Alaina for 5 minutes straight, thankfully she didn’t crash and burn like last time. When it was over she grabbed a water and drank it before stepping back into the ring. She pulled her hair back as she got in a stance ready to grapple”you ready Alaina?” She asked with a confident smirk on her face ready with her mentor.

Alaina nodded and had her hands up and ready as soon as they had finished running ropes again. Alaina moved in to grapple with Nashi and pushed her around a bit, back, side to side, etc. "Nashi widen your feet a little bit, give yourself a better base." Alaina said as things kicked off. "A wide, low base is never a bad thing. Also if you are looking to get your hands on someones arm for example go with the fastest route, slide them along like this." Alaina said after a minute demonstrating her own transition to grab Nashi by the arm before twisting it around to place her in a hammerlock. Alaina let go after a second and stepped back. "Ok now you do that to me when we lock up." The amazon said.

Nashi would nod and follow Alaina’s introduction’s. She spread her legs out, took a lower stance. When Alaina put her in the hammerlock, the idol winced in pain before she was released. Finally Alaina, instructed her to do the hammerlock to her. “Okay but I won’t hold back!” Nashi walked up and went to grab Alaina’s arm, from there she would slide around back and put it behind the amazons back”Is thus tight enough?” She asked adding more pressure to the hold to make it tight for Alaina.

Alaina winced as Nashi wrenched down, as opposed to Alaina who focused on showing the hold and securing it without the pressure. "Yeah, you got it but be careful of reversals. A common one is me stepping out and grabbing your arm so you and up with your arm twisted as I stand to the side holding it, or a snapmare." Alaina said reaching back to grab Nashi by the hair, kneeling down as she snapmared Nashi to the mat.
"We can go over that a few more times so you get it, and other footwork. After that we can try to help you learn a hold, getting it locked in and focusing on how secure the hold is. Is there a particular submission move you like?" Alaina asked Nashi as the young wrestler got to her feet.

Nashi would listen to Alaina before being hit by a snapmare! She hit the mat causing a thud, as the idol stood she kept rubbing her neck in pain. Nashi looked up”was that necessary?” Nashi titled her head in confusion.
She would take a moment to stretch as she listens to Alaina”well I had this one move idea a dragon sleeper” she giggled lightly cause of her last name.

"Yes, so you know how it will feel when it happens." Alaina said simply. When Nashi mentioned a dragon sleeper Alaina nodded. She had gotten quite a few submissions to that move in her day so she felt qualified to teach it. Alaina moved to the center of the ring and called Nashi over. "All right, I will show you how to lock it in without applying much pressure. I will get step by step and then you can try it." Alaina said.
The amazon moved and grabbed Nashi doing a slow transition from a standing grapple to moving Nashi to a sitting position before wrapping her arm around Nashi's head while pulling it back, doing all the small steps slowly until Nashi was locked in the sleeper. Alaina would release and do it all again a few times each time slightly quicker so Nashi could not only learn the steps but see it applied in a more fluid motion.

She wanted to keep it nice and tight as if it were a real match. When she got to her knee, she turned her head over to Alaina and asked”is this tight enough?” The idol asked applying more pressure to the hold.

Alaina thought she made it perfectly clear that this was about technique and going slow. Alaina either explained things wrong or Nashi didn't listen well.

Step. Learn your positioning and footwork before just going and trying to choke me out th first time like I instructed." Alaina said. "Your footwork was off slightly and that could give someone a chance to escape. Let go so we can start over and try again."

Nashi would release the hold. She would listen to Alaina’s suggestion, she would wrap her arm her neck. From there the idol would slowly bend her mentors back”are you okay? Should I go down faster?” Nashi asked hoping she wasn’t going to hard on Alaina.

Alaina let Nashi go again and when she took her time things were more fluid. "No, this is much better. Did you see the difference in your initial stance and the transition? It was more fluid. We are going to do this a few more times. Get the fluid movements down and proper technique. Speed comes with repititions. You want to always get technique down first before doing things super fast. If you get good at doing it fast but do something wrong you end up doing a lot of work to learn nothing." Alaina said as she gave Nashi a tap on the arm signaling for them to start again and take it from the top.
