[Apex Qualifier] Karina Rine vs Amy Evans

Karina needed to keep Amy under control, or at the very least always moving and resisting so she would be wasting energy on fending Karina off. Just when she lunged in to capture Amy though, a fist came to greet her, stalling Karina's advance long enough for Amy to capture her instead and bring her down to the canvas, evening things out again though this time to those arms coming around her to start squeezing, which wasn't really a good position for Karina to be in since she knew Amy was a good punch and a good bearhugger.

She decided against punched her way to freedom and instead sought to take advantage in a different way. She would look to try and roll them both over, just so Karina would be on her back and with Amy on top for the sole purpose of both making that bearhug more difficult to maintain but also to once again try to wrap her legs around Amy's waist for a body scissor hold but also to wrap her arm around the back of Amy's head and force her into a guillotine choke hold as well.

Amy brought Karina down wanting to find time to keep working on her and put her down again, Karina was desperately moving to fight her off to counter the fall advantage Amy currently had by making Amy wear herself out. The battle lead to Karina being a persistent threat even when she was being pulled into one of Amy's moves, since her mind was focused on not wanting to stay a victim for any amount of time. However Amy had time to try to counter her moves, while Karina could throw herself to her back Amy still had her head up to avoid the attempted guillotine even when the body scissors was able to be locked on.

"Little too late to course correct don't you think? Ngh...You're working just as hard to make me fight as you are making me fight back." Amy muttered turning to resist being pulled into the choke. While she would give Karina's body a squeeze she would eventually let go to stop her before she would hammer a few punches into her chest. Her mind focused on stunning Karina her hand would go to her face to squeeze and push into the mat.

Once again Karina collided with Amy, though it was more because Amy managed to stop Karina from getting a good position upon the woman and instead got Karina down and was on top of Karina. Once against their abs clapped together against of it, with Karina's injured, still sensitive abs still flexing and trying to remain a steely front underneath Amy's core but she was more focused on weakening the powerful Amy and get back on top of the woman.

" Has that ever stopped me or you though..? " She said, still trying to pull the woman into a choke but with Amy squeezing their bodies harder together, it was difficult to continue. " Here I thought you enjoyed being under my ass and getting clobbered.. Planning to make it a finisher. " She still teased despite the situation, though soon Amy gave Karina a taste of her own medicine, which was striking away at Karina's large chest! She flinched, quickly releasing the woman to protect her chest from those punches though soon that hand grabbed her face and forced it down.
Karina would clench her own fists, deciding to go for an attack of her own, which was punching Amy in the ribs where the arm was being used to grab onto Karina's face!

Amy was fighting to maintain control on top of Karina who continued to make it a fight for everything Amy did, clearly worried about what might happen if she wasn't in control from start to finish in this round. But if Amy could be easily tamed, she wouldn't be the dangerous Lion that Karina had come to admire and respect. She was punching her chest until she got free, ready to move and get in a better spot to break the hold entirely when Karina started to throw punches to her ribs

"Uggh...Not at all...nngghh...It just makes me want to fight more..." Amy said feeling the punches hit and irritate her sides before she would take her other hand and punch Karina's abs in return. She wanted to try and break the hold and force Karina off her, but the rib shots were making it hard to hold Karina's head down even as she was giving some returning shots to the hurt abs of the Beast.

It was going to be a trade off in punches and Karina would have to keep her body hardened up to endure every punch the woman gave her. She clenched her teeth together, refusing any more loud sounds from coming out that weren't necessary, not wanting to fuel Amy's dedicated of turning Karina's abs into a broken wall she was not relentlessly pounding into!

She went for different targets for the moment, one to grasp and squeeze Amy's breast rather roughly, aiming to distract her with that while her other fist would just hammer away at Amy's side, looking to force the woman to abandon her assault on Karina's front just so Karina could move off and away from the blonde, knowing that this kind of trading was like a double edged sword and would not help her in the long wrong. Even punch she dished out was met with another in return and her abs were still trying to cool down from the punishment earlier.

Karina and Amy were already back to another punch out, but this was affected by their positions. Amy was on top and thanks to her power was hitting Karina with hard hitting blows she was preparing for, while Karina was hitting her strikes at an angle so she was focused on specific targets to compensate for the position making it hard for her. The shoving her boobs had was minor compared to the strikes that rattled her ribs, so eventually she had to stop hammering her opponents gut to place her hand in the way of the punches to her ribs, stopping it from hitting her again while giving Karina the space she needed to get away when Amy moved up.

"You seemed worried earlier, were you trying to sucker me in thinking I'd pounce on weak prey?" Amy asked staring at Karina. Waiting to see what else her wounded rival had for her now that her attempt to put Amy away quickly was stopped. They both still had enough to keep going longer, Amy knew she only got the first fall because of Karina's hubris not because Karina was weak, she wouldn't be making too many mistakes fighting her.

The power Amy kept dishing out made it certain that Karina couldn't make any more mistakes. A brawl between them even in a position like this never stopped either one of them until finally that movement arrived that Karina could force Amy off and she could roll away from the woman just to get back up onto her feet. It was a slow ascend at first, the blows Amy had given her in exchange definitely hurt her, which would be more than enough to give Karina plenty of pain to feel in the morning.. But right now Karina needed to stay in this fight.

" I'm far from prey.. But by the end of this, you will realize that, Amy. " She would respond after a quick shoulder and side rub. She had to make sure to keep Amy on her toes without taking too much damage in the process. She was still one point down and the way to get things into a draw again would mean Karina had to find a way to surprise Amy. For now though, she took those seconds as a precious resource to tend to her body. She remained a few feet away from Amy, in a more defensive state!

The Beast backed off, the Lion didn't give chase. Both had wounds to lick before they started this game again, with Karina feeling the pressure more due to having very little room to make mistakes. This was her big chance to show that she wasn't tamed after she had twice been brought to her knees by the Lion to be played with. She enjoyed it too, despite the humiliation and her competitive nature telling her she shouldn't. No amount of pleasure she may have found being dominated would make the beast satisfied, but nothing would make the Lion desire to do anything but tame her over and over again until that happened.

"I realized that the first time we met. But's more fun to show predators that they aren't alphas." Amy said standing up, watching Karina before she would start to head towards the Beast. She attacked to avoid letting Karina have time to recover or think about her next move, moving in close and feinting a right with her fist before she would try and aim a kick at Karina's head.

To remain defensive like this wasn't exactly Karina's style yet right now if she wanted to have a chance of beating Amy, she had to use her head more than just for spears and headbutts. A battle plan wasn't exactly going to happen right now considering that Amy would still be on the attack if she saw her chance and Karina had little time to work with to even catch her breath.

Keeping her eyes on the blonde, she began to advance back towards Karina, who still kept her defensive stance, her hands close to the level of her chest, deciding not to go for the first grapple or even the first attack, more content on just spending every second regaining her energy. Off course she knew that wouldn't stop Amy as she came in with the punch, bringing her arms to block it.. Only it never connected. She noticed that leg rising and going up high, higher than her sides or abs, going for a much different and dangerous target!

Karina knew she couldn't block it with her arms in time, nor did she think one arm could capture that incoming leg so instead she ducked low, letting that leg just barely miss her head! Had that hit, she would have surely ended up on her back or against the ropes though also took that as a chance to lunge into Amy with her arms swooped wide, wanting to bring them around Amy's body to try and lift her up and quickly suplex her to the canvas!

Amy knew that it was either her doing it or Karina doing it but someone had to be putting the other under pressure and keep this match from becoming a recovery game. Her mind was set on knocking Karina down again where she could start to work her over on the ground and make the Beast lose her will to fight back, only for her to dodge the kick that would have floored her if it did connect. Instead, they did go to the ground but only when Karina rushed her from the side, bringing both of them down to the mat once more.

Amy was caught but like before ready to fight it out, right now she had more energy to burn and would need to use it if she didn't want Karina taking control. She tried to bring her arms up and against Karina to force some room apart where she might pull away, fighting back until she had no room to do so.
