Ryu Hiroshi vs Misaki Toyoda - Japanese Pride II

The two veterans were more than happy to restart the match from an neutral position. Both of them were quite familiar with each other's tactic and neither of them wanted to give each other any opening. That is why Ryu attempted to bait her in with a grapple and when she was close enough he would try to bring his knee up into her abdomen. However, the Ace was the Ace for a reason and she anticipated his tactic and would bring her hands up to block the knee strike and subsequently grab his leg forcing him to hop on one leg.

"N-Nani?" he gasped not expecting that before suddenly his leg was yanked forward to make him drop down on his back. A loud *THUD* sound was heard when he was dropped and Misaki would grab his other leg to roll him over and lock in a painful sharpshooter. "Arrrghhh! AHHHH" he moaned, clutching his lower back in pain while shaking his head. Ryu would crawl forward on using his hands to scratch and crawl his way towards the ropes to try and grab onto them for a desperate rope break.

Now having Ryu trapped in the sharpshooter, Misaki would continue applying pressure into the hold even as he started clawing his way towards the ropes. Of course, with this being a sharpshooter, it was remarkably easier for her to drag her opponent back to the center of the ring compared to a Boston crab. "Can't have you do that!" Misaki exclaimed as she would drag Ryu back to the center of the ring.

Keeping Ryu locked in the sharpshooter, Misaki was looking to weaken him if not make him submit. The crowd was cheering for Misaki right now, and she smiled, nodding rigorously even as she would continue applying pressure into the hold.

The pain in his back was really getting to him and he attempted to get to the ring ropes but the Ace would have a firmer grip on him. She would continue to put agonizing pain on his back while having his legs twisted in the grip and when he was close to the ring ropes she would drag him back to the middle of the ring. The Dragon would start to panic now that he was back to the middle, he was panting and seeing spots in his eyes from the pain as he tried to drag himself forward but this time it seemed too far.

In the end, he would end up tapping the mats to signal a submission to give his opponent the lead having no choice.

After subjecting Ryu in the sharpshooter for a while, Misaki got herself another point as Ryu submitted to her. Sighing in relief, she let go of the sharpshooter before she stepped away from him. It seemed that they got about twenty minutes left on the clock. With her leading the scores, she needed to ensure that her opponent wouldn't be able to catch up to her.

"Get up. We still got some time left." Misaki beckoned Ryu to get up as she prepared herself for another round with him. Her body was slick with sweat, though she seemed to be in full spirit. She would wait for Ryu to get himself up so that they could have another clash with him and presumably earn herself another point over him.

With him being dragged back to the middle of the ring, there was no where else where he could drag himself to as his progress of getting to the ropes was all for naught. His back was being bent and his muscles bulging but he could not escape. He would roar out in pain and agony, trying to once again pull himself forward but it was too much. Sweat dripping off his body onto the mat and eventually he would submit to give Misaki the lead. With only 20 min remaining, it was now his turn to show he could make a comeback like his opponent.

Ryu would slap the mat in frustration when Misaki told him to get up and fight her, he was upset at being behind in this match. However, he would focus up and get back up to his feet. The male wrestler would raise his arms up and circle her before rushing in going for a clothesline strike to take her down.

Watching Ryu rise up, Misaki would prepare herself for her next tussle with him. Seeing him bringing his hands up while circling her, she would also do the same. But it seemed that it was just a fake-out as Ryu suddenly charged towards her and hit her with a clothesline!

"AUGHH!!"

Misaki took the clothesline to her chest, and she hit the mat with her back. Grunting in pain, she would try to ignore the pain before attempting to kip up, returning back to her feet, though she was left dazed by the clothesline.

The fourth round of this exhausting match started and Ryu was looking to get things back to being even. Misaki challenged him to a grapple but he would rush in using his strength to clobber her with a devastating clothesline to knock her back down. The male wrestler would then reach down to grab her arm and pull her up to her feet, looking to wrap his arm around her waist tightly before launching her up and over him in a German Suplex! If the first slam connected, he would keep his arms wrapped around her as he rolled himself and her to get back up on their feet and went for a second German suplex but only this time he would slam her down and get in a bridge pin position to transition the second suplex into a bridge pin.

Before Misaki could attempt to kip up, Ryu went to grab her before he put her into a rear waist lock. Then, he hoist her up and throw her over with a German suplex, sending her crashing down onto the mat.

"UAAGHHHH!!"

Not only that, Ryu kept his grip on her, pulling Misaki back up before launching her up into the air for the second time, bringing her down into the mat with the second German suplex!

"UUGHHH!!"

Left dazed, Misaki's body was folded up, and Ryu immediately went for the pin. "ONE!" The referee started counting. "TWO!" Still disoriented, Misaki realized what was happening, and before the third count, she kicked out, breaking the bridging pinfall attempt.

It was time for Ryu to really show what he had and put the Ace through the wringer. The Dragon would capture Misaki and land a duo of German suplex, the second one having more impact than the first and really rattling Toyoda! He showed off his impressive technique by holding onto her waist and performing a bridge to go for the pin and despite his efforts the brunette managed to kick out just before the third count to break the pin count.

"Ugh! Well, looks like I will have to try harder to keep you down Toyoda-san" he said while releasing her and rolling over onto his knees next to her. Grabbing her head, he would pull her up to her feet and attempt to wrap his arms around her waist to apply a crushing bearhug! He was quite tired and his bronze body glistened in sweat, with the score being 2-1 and only 10 minutes left he was pulling out all the stops now!

Still dazed despite kicking out of the pinfall attempt, Misaki was then pulled into a hug by Ryu, who then subjected her to a bearhug. "AAHHHHHN!!" She cried out, throwing her head back as Ryu squeezed her body with his powerful arms. She wasn't aware of how much time had left, but she knew that she couldn't afford to let her opponent earn another point.

So, Misaki would make sure that her arms were free. Despite the pain, she soldiered through as she would then attempt to clap her hands right at the sides of Ryu's head, right on his ears. She was sure that this would leave him disoriented, allowing her to wiggle herself free. Despite her still trying to recover, she would try to capitalize on this if she succeeded by swinging her arm at his chest with a chop!
