Geun Haru(D) vs Leonie Bowen

It worked like a charm, soon Geun was well on her way to locking in her hold. once again Leonie proved her strength here by resisting her but that was fine, she was expending more energy with that, and tiring her out was a good step anyway. The tug on her leg was more of a problem and Geun decided to address it by bringing her opposing leg over to reinforce her resistance to her pull.

Sensing that it would not be enough to get the hold fully in she also thought up of a different approach as one of her hands moved to Leonie's palm. From ther she secured a firm hold and twisted it to the side while her other hand kept the forearm of the girl in place thus putting pressure on another joint.

Pain continued to shoot up and down Leonie's arm as Geun worked the armbar tighter. What was more, her wrist was cranked, adding a new and unexpected dimension to the submission hold! She needed to get out of this -- and quick! If she couldn't do so now, then even if she managed to wriggle out without tapping, Leonie would definitely be hampered by some injury or another.

Still, her earlier efforts to dislodge Geun's leg bore fruit. When the bigger girl moved her other leg over to secure the armbar further, Leonie saw an opportunity. As the leg was in motion across Geun's body, that meant it wasn't clamping down. To take advantage of that, Leonie attempted to push it up and away from her! She wouldn't need much space at all, because any gap would help Leonie free her arm.

The next step was to yank hard, ripping her arm away from Geun's grasp. And in the same motion, Leonie pounced! She didn't care how or where she landed, as long as she ended up on top of Geun somehow!

Leonie acted quicker than Geun anticipated. Reaping her hand free and pouncing on her. There was no stopping that so she instead decides to try and manipulate her position to be as advantageous as it could.

Spreading her legs wider as to make sure to catch Leonie between them, Korean also raised her guard up to defend herself from potential punches. When Leonie landed, her legs closed around the other women's midsection and one of her hands shot up to grab her neck and bring her close to deliver an elbow strike to the side of her head.

Leonie was far from the most technical wrestler out there, and she made no effort to hide it. Why do all sorts of fancy tricks when she had pure grit? So proper grappling form be damned, she flung herself atop Geun and trusted the chips to fall where they may.

Unfortunately, that meant her advance was easy to halt in its tracks! "Hhk-!" She let out a wince as Geun caught her in her guard. Her upper body kept moving, tugged forward by Geun's hand on her nape. She leaned into the motion, bending towards Geun and raising an arm to protect herself as she did so. Geun's elbow strike forced a grunt as it glanced off Leonie's forearm. Painful, but better than the alternative.

When Leonie met Geun on the canvas, they were nearly flush against one another. Their perky chests and musclebound bodies all but pressed against one another, and even in these early stages of the match, Leonie was building up a sweat. As the ginger maneuvered her arms -- one headed below Geun's neck and one resting above like the blade of a guillotine -- she shot her opponent a wry grin.

"Just couldn't wait to get up close and personal, huh?" she teased with a flirtatious lilt. Her cheeks filled with warmth despite her cocky demeanor. Then she attempted to lock in what would have been called an Ezekiel choke, had she known the phrase!

"Gha..." Geun groaned, feeling the pressure in her throat. She managed to get her forearm up against her chin and along her throat which prevented the choke from truly sinking in but the position was still far from ideal. "Most folks would rather snuggle outside the ring but I can't complain." She replied in the same flirtatious tone as Leonie's.

Even though she could enjoy the position they were in, feeling the other women's bodies against her own filled her with familiar warmth. She still was intent on winning this and so proceed with her plan to get out. To that effect, she moved to get her arm over Leonie's shoulder and push down to compromise the angle of the hold. If she could she would also try to get her forearm up against her throat to push away at the same time.

"Guess you're not 'most folks' then." Leonie met her opponent's banter with a challenging grin. She didn't mean anything by it, but she was glad to know that Geun was in this for the fun. Win or lose, neither girl would hopefully hold any bad feelings for the other.

That didn't mean either woman was gonna give anything less than her best! Now their arms were the battlefield, as Geun pulled the hold out of alignment with one hand while bracing against Leonie's forearm with the other. As hard as she pressed, Leonie could feel her hold giving way.

As much as she would have liked to go at this all day, there was still a whole match to go. Leonie didn't want to gas too quickly. So she let the hold go, hopefully sending Geun's straining arms in all sorts of directions! Then she lashed out, attempting to grab Geun's wrists and tuck her own knees beneath her.

If she was able to stand up, she would, following up with a quick wristlocked stomp to Geun's chest!

As fun as rolling around with Leonie was, it might not be as fun for the people watching, it was time to get the show on the roll soon. With the hold suddenly releasing, the force she used to push against it had to go somewhere, sending her arms flying. She managed to stop the movement but not in time before her opponent grabbed them. Sensing what was about to happen, she brought her knees up as the other woman was standing up before pulling her arms in while at the same time her legs shut out to the lower abdomen of her opponent in an attempt to send her flying over her head.

If that was successful and her hands were now free she would kick back to her feet and quickly turn towards Leonie. Now it was she that attempted to take a hold of her wrists before pulling her up to a kneeling position. With that secured, she would then try to pull on her hands while launching forward with a knee strike.

Leonie stood, rearing back to deliver a swift stomp to Geun's chest. But she was halted in her effort as her world turned upside down! "Uwoahh!" The ginger yelled as she was flipped onto her back. Then she was pulled onto her knees and-

She didn't see the knee coming. Partially because she flinched her eyes closed, but mostly because of the flash behind her eyelids that accompanied the blow! Pain spread like a wildfire from her nose out to the rest of her face, and her sharp cry was muffled by the top of Geun's shin.

If she was allowed to fall, Leonie would fly back and flop onto the second rope, leaning on it as if it were a cage wall. If not, however, then she would simply hang from Geun's grip on her wrists.

In either case, her bleary eyes would soon focus on Geun, and Leonie would take on a daring grin. Now they were getting started: What would the Korean girl do next?

"Still with us? Good, I'd hate for it to end, we aren't even at the good part yet." Geun said with a mischievous smile as she looked down at the girl hanging in her grip.

She would now lift her up to standing before releasing one of her wrists and putting her now free arm around her thigh before trying to lift Leonie over her shoulders. Normally she would find that kind of move to be too risky but after that knee, she thought she was fine and besides, the crowd loves that kind of thing. Then she would try to lift her up over her head before dropping her forward and onto her knee so that it would impact her oponent's back.

Leonie had to suppress a chuckle at Geun's taunt. She didn't feel any malice in it, and the idea of a "good part" later on interested her. Unfortunately she didn't have any time to fire back, much less let her mind wander towards her opponent's innuendo. She was quickly picked up and shifted so that she was parallel with the mat!

Just then, Leonie felt her weight shift, and she was suddenly dropped -- right onto Geun's knee! "Haaugh!" Pain crackled up her spine! All she could do was wince, immediately clutching whatever part of her back she could.
