Standing behind the curtain is an ex-kickboxing champion by the name of Hiro Takahashi.

Wearing his usual wrestling attire Hiro was set off for an undercard match against his new friend, and member of his personal gym the "Iron Titans", named Alexios. The two had a match before and it was considered to be quite competitive up until Alexios ex-girlfriend, named Helen Andronike, sabotaged him allowing Hiro to win the match via. Legdrop. The two men promised they would rematch someday after that and now it was finally the day. Hiro knew Alexios was strong and he felt if Helen had never interfered Alexios would have won that match that day. Now that Hiro had some time to train and prepare himself mentally he felt that he could truly win against the former Olympic Gold Medalist without any outside help. After some time waiting it was time for the match to begin as the Announcer began to make the introductions.

"The Following contest is set for One Fall! From Tokyo, Japan Hiro Takahashi!"

The crowd roared I'm excitement when a familiar song was played and the energy of the crowd amplified as Hiro screamed out in excitement as the music got crazier. As he got closer to the ring the Japanese wrestler jumped up and down with each jump getting higher and higher before jumping to the ring apron and grabbing onto the top rope to do a cool flip inside the ring.

"Nihon! ! Kare ga modotte kite yokatta!!!" Hiro screamed out as the crowd got so loud that it almost blew out Hiro's eardrum. Nevertheless the Japanese star got to his corner with all smiles ready to take on Alexios again for the second time.

Alexios Laskaris waited in the gorilla position for his cue. He warmed up with dynamic stretching. His face was a stoic mask but, truth be told, he was nervous. This was his second match in LAW, and it was for one of its major annual PPVs. Yes, he was on the undercard, but it was a chance for him to prove himself. If he wrestled a good match in the pre-show and got the crowd excited and got more PPV buy-ins in the final hour, it would elevate him. Fortunately, he knew his opponent was up to the task.

Unfortunately, his opponent defeated him the last time they faced each other. It was made possible due to interference by his ex Helen Andronike and her partner in crime Alanna Antoinette. But it still stung. Alexios and Hiro wrestled a close match that could have gone either way, even if Alexios had the advantage in the end before things went south. This time, Helen was barred from the ring by security. This time, it was just Alexios and Hiro one on one. Alexios resolved to right the wrong and get his first victory in a LAW ring.

Alexios’ music hit. The Greek grappler walked out to a friendlier reception than before. It helped that he was in America instead of Japan. He strode to the ring, depositing his shield and sword on the way. He entered and approached Hiro for a staredown as the announcer introduced them. Alexios then offered a fistbump before raising his arms in a ready position as the bell rang.

Now that Hiro's opponent arrived he was starting to get excited for the match and began bouncing up and down to warm himself up. The two men had no ill will against each other and were simply looking to see who is the better man tonight. Hiro would keep a poker face starting at Alexios at the staredown before touching his fist with his as a sign of respect. Hiro would get to his corner do a bit of neck cranks and shadow boxing ready for the bell to ring.

DING DING DING

The bell sounded off and Hiro was in his fluent striking stance. He was circling around the ring and just the way his body moved was fast which was expected from an ex-champion in kickboxing. Hiro's plan was to keep a fair distance from Alexios...he was scared of the Takedown and mat-wrestling from the Former gold Medalist in Greco-Roman and the crowd was so hyped to see a match against two different styles! Striker vs Grappler! West vs East! Right now it looked like an actual fight with Hiro moving around like bruce lee trying to time a super kick once Alexios would get close!

Alexios danced with Hiro. Alexios figured Hiro was traying to land a solid kick to the face or left hook. Alexios wanted to take him down to the ground. The two circled each other for a bit getting a feel for each other. Alexios then decided to feint a single leg takedown. He intended to trick Hiro into launching a kick. If successful, he would actually take Hiro down on the ground with a single leg takedown and try to mount his opponent's back.

Hiro feared Alexios grappling and was scared to Engage first knowing that one mistake could put him on his back. The two circled around each other almost as if they were dancing and after a couple of seconds of trying to figure each other out Alexios went for a faint which made Hiro prematurely fire off a super kick and whiffed in the air!

'Shit!' Hiro knew he had messed up and as soon as his foot lowered back to the canvas he tried to back away but Alexios was quick for the single leg takedown! Hiro fell to the canvas and was immediately scooting back to the bottom ropes and grabbing it!

"Rope Break! Let go Alexios!"

The referee shouted at the Greek wrestler as Hiro would quickly get back up to his feet. Hiro's position was bad as he was close to the ropes and with Alexios cutting any escape routes the Japanese kickboxer had no choice but to tango with Alexios up close as he got his hands ready to lock up.

Alexios let go right away because he was sporting. Fortunately, Hiro was trapped and forced to lock up with Alexios. "Can't dodge forever," he said. The two men struggled for advantage. Despite Hiro being a kickboxer and striker in style, he could hold his own at grappling. Alexios decided to shake things up and attempted to slip behind Hiro and wrap him up in a waist lock. If successful, Alexios would squeeze Hiro's torso for bit before executing a takedown, lifting him up and slamming him down on the ground.

Hiro began to lock up with the Olympic wrestler and as expected the striker couldn't outgrapple the far superior mat wrestler as Alexios would move behind him, wrap his arm around his waist, and proceeded to lift him up for a waist lock Takedown!

"Ahhhhh! くそ!" Hiro was in full panic mode as he tried to get to his feet but Alexios was on his back and his whole entire body weight on him as Hiro tried everything to struggle out. Then he realized that he was taking down near the ropes as he started to desperately reach the bottom rope again but this time stretching out his leg and placing a foot on top of it! The ref saw that his foot was on top of the bottom rope as he immediately called for another rope break!

Alexios let go! Let go! Rope break break!

Once Alexios would eventually get off of him Hiro would roll back to his feet this time trying to scurry off back to the center. The match just started and already Hiro got taken down with realitive ease. He was now scared to even throw a strike knowing it might get countered so easily. Once both men were up the match would start back the way it started with both wrestlers in the center of the ring as Hiro's Footwork stopped bouncing obviously still very cautious about throwing a kick which was his specialty that was getting neutralized by Alexios shoot takedowns.. the Japanese wrestler didn't know what to do as he stood there with his leg twitching...wanting to do a kick as Hiro would grow a pair and go for a kick right to Alexios abdomen!

Alexios was on the watch for face kicks, as those were arguably Hiro’s deadliest attacks. He knew that body and leg kicks were inevitable and thus accepted he would have to take them. As expected Hiro launched a kick to Alexios’ abs. The Greek hardened his stomach as best he could, but the kick still hurt. Alexios grimaced in pain, but tanked the blow and wrapped his arm around Hiro’s leg, catching the kick. He then executed another single let takedown. He pounced on Hiro’s back but remembered that Hiro was agile and could easily get to the ropes. Changing tactics, Alexios grabbed at Hiro’s legs and pulled him to the center of the ring. Alexios knew about Hiro’s prior leg injury and saw his still-scarred leg up close. After a pause, he switched to Hiro’s other injury-free leg and attempted to wrap it up in an ankle lock in the center of the ring.

Hiro could not stop the Takedown from Alexios as he grabbed his leg during the kick and took him down with a single leg! The Former Olympian would start to change tactics and start to go for an ankle lock! Luckily for Hiro His opponent was nice enough to go for his uninjured leg but the Ankle lock still hurted like hell as Hiro started to shout in pain.

"Aaaaahhhhhh!!!" Hiro was hitting the canvas with his fists in pain and immediately tried to go for the ropes again! Each time he would get close Alexios would put more pressure on his ankle causing Hiro to scream out even more! The ref began to lower himself down to Hiro asking if he wants to submit to which Hiro shook his head and tried his best to get to the bottom rope for a rope break out of the Ankle lock!
