If people were asked to describe North using as few words possible. They would choose words such as, professionally-capable, friendly, selfless, patient, modest and on occasion fierce. North still can be known to be sociable. Not to the extent where she is the life of the party. But where she is willing to make friends. Taking her status and station very seriously made North a bit stubborn.
North’s sense of responsibility and fighter spirit might have her taking risks she normally wouldn’t. Still North may have a tendency to apologize even when helping. That isn’t to say North is timid either, North is never one to back away from a challenge. Even if the said challenge it to her detriment.
Biography
Spoiler
North was born in the Sparta, a city of Laconia. Her father, Adrastos Chioni is a police officer and retired mixed martial artist. North’s mother Cassia on the other hand is lightweight champion in boxing and wrestling. To cap off this fine lineage, North is a descendant of one of the greatest warriors history has ever known. The Spartans. North herself being in the bloodline of some of if not the best Spartans.
This naturally gave North a pseudo celebrity status. Giving many children around North cause to pause when interacting with her. Outside of this North’s childhood would be much of the same as any other child. She was surrounded by love and affection. North’s parents were stricter than most, only to keep their daughter truly on the right side. As any child, North was curious to both of her parents’ occupations. Of course they had liked to wait for North mature before teaching her the truth of their jobs. Naturally her curiosity got the better of her parents. North slowly learning the truth of what her parents do. She admired them both the same.
North was at the center of both of her parent’s world. She was the blessing they had been praying years for. Prior to having North. Adrastos and Cassia for years had struggled in producing a child. When they reached out to a professional, it was revealed to both that the odds of bearing children were slim to none. Making North even more of a blessing to her parents. Yet not everyone would see it that way. Men were everything when it came to their family. While it was an old tradition, it is tradition nonetheless. Much of North’s family resented her for not being a male. Afterall a woman cannot continue the bloodline. North’s parents did what they could to take the brunt of that resentment. To little success as North still heard everything and felt their emotions. Still, she was resolute in making her parents proud. North being the ever curious one would ask about her family multiple times. Each time getting met with a response that can be summed up as “later”
Not being ones to deny their daughter for so long. Adrastos and Cassia both indulged their daughter in regards to the family. North would learn about her family and its history. As a byproduct and more importantly North learned about the unfair position she was born into. Still resolute on doing making her parents proud while also honoring her heritage. North knew she would have to work herself to death just to make that happen. It was here she would take her studies and life as whole much more seriously. Teachers would praise North for her efforts. Proving to be a studious student, while those tasked with managing her physical health could see that North well above what she needed to be. Those around North would try to make friends with her. Many of them failing because they felt as if North was above them for whatever reason. Even with North doing everything perfectly. Still she would feel her families resentment. It was as if she could do nothing to sway them. Then came the idea to use the family’s history to her advantage. Spartans were famous warriors in history, and while they are non-existent now. North could simply learn to fight, not just that. But on high enough level where she is recognized by her family. As one could imagine, when North told her parents of this idea. They pushed back vehemently, mostly citing their worries.
North fought back against Cassia’s worry, and naturally Cassia fought back. It was a inevitability that Cassia would win the argument. But that did little to quell North’s interest. North knew her mother fought, that much was obvious. If North was not going to get that teaching directly, she would get it indirectly. Doing her own research along secretly studying her mother’s old fights. While research had it limits, this start was better than no start.
Destiny is fickle thing whether you believe in it or not. During a normal day in school, North would come face to face with this destiny. It would be during the break between her classes, where two large boys decided to play with North today. North did her best to try and diffuse the situation, but once one of the boys punched North in the stomach. It was at this moment she knew things would not end peacefully. Entering a novice but classic boxing stance, of course the boys laughed it off. After all what could one girl do to two big boys. A shame for one of them as once they came in to strike again, North dodged the strike and punched him in the face. Call it genetics or luck, but North had broken the boys nose. The pain and shock sent the boy running away, with the other in tow following him. The worst would come later as North would face the wrath of school director. Despite simply defending herself, the story had been changed in such a way to make North seem like the villain. Try as she might, there was little North could do as the school director already had his mind set. Leaving North with a simple warning, repeat this offense and she would be expelled.
Her parents caught wind of this immediately. They know North best, she would never start a fight. That alone made them side with her. Surprising everyone Cassia’s first response would be “Good Job” These words you can say started everything for North. As from that day onwards, both her parents would train her. Now Cassia with Adrastos were fully resolved to follow North in whatever path she took. It was hard to not see the genuine happiness North exhibited from her training, even despite it ending with her downed all the time. Training and her schoolwork would prove to be a very healthy cycle for North. So much so that North even suggested that she would prefer to learn at the Academy like her father.
One day North jokingly asked what her name should be when she fights. Adrastos joked that North already had a name, an answer North was not happy with. When she looked to her mother, she also joked, “You don’t get to choose your name. Your enemies do” The words were lost on her now, but in time she would learn what her mother meant.
Once North was old enough, her parents felt it was appropriate to join a gym. Here her training would only intensify. Along with all the other aspects of her life. North’s mother would even pull some strings to gather world class talent to teach her. Cassia focused on building North’s foundation in grappling and striking with her boxing and wrestling. While her father focused on building North’s mind and body. Trainers came in teaching North Judo, Taekwondo, Muay Thai, Aikido and the like. Even without noticing it, Cassia had seen North outgrow her in every physical aspect. She was no longer a little girl anymore.
It was only a matter of time until North began to fight in real fights. That fire inside of North was only growing with each passing match. First local fights, then district fights, then city fights. North by now had already finished her education and was a hard-working officer like her father who had retired years prior. She continued her training while upholding the law. Handling both of her parents’ professions. Admittedly it did leave little time to socialize, outside of training in her gym.
To everyone’s surprise word of North’s talent reached the higher levels. Much faster than everyone was expecting, even North. She was being given the chance to compete for the championship of her country. This was a true crossroads in her life. As if she were to go with this match, North would not be able to continue her duties as an officer. But if she did not go through with this match, its likely she would never have a professional career. Taking manners as seriously as she could. North felt as though she was picking between her mother and father. Despite no one putting that choice in her head.
It took many days and many considerations, but for some reason North was unable to put away this fire of hers when competing. When she took the matter to her parents, they both stated that it was obvious North was going to choose professional fighting. Perplexed by her parents’ quickness with it all. They both pointed at that same fire North was unable to put away. With both parents behind her, North could put her worries to rest. Still reluctant, North put in her resignation papers. Still at this point North could only see her one true desire, victory. When it came time for her championship match. North bulldozed her opponent and became the champion of her country. Though to everyone’s dismay, soon after winning North would relinquish said title to pursue the world stage.
With her mother and father at her back, North would pursue the world stage. In her opening match North had been given the name Titan of Sparta. Alluding to how many of her opponents viewed North. North more than anything wanted to test her skills against the best in the world. Making her ancestors and parents proud. It was just a matter of whether the world could handle the Titan of Sparta.

Spoiler
North refuses to be outdone in any physical attribute. While not egotistical, if she were she’d call herself a master of all. Which is not far from the truth. Winter can adapt to any opponent she is facing and combat them accordingly. Though if she is able, North would prefer do outdo her opponent in their specialty. Not feeling negative if she cannot overcome that hurdle. It only creates another goal.
Being able to transfer from striking to throwing to grappling. It is here where North can overwhelm anyone in her path. Even being able to resort to using more cerebral methods if needed. Afterall a fight between two people is not just a physical one
