Her main strategy is to get close to her opponents and striking them to wear them out or going straight for a grapple. She will suite this to whomever she is fighting. Bigger opponents will face her grappler site more than smaller opponents.
Mei likes to dominant the people she fights against and tends to get a bit dirty in her tactics once she gets the upper hand in matches. This can go from wedgies to low blows, depending on how far the rules allow it.

Mei has a fighting style that resembles MMA. Although she is fighting more on the ground and uses striking attacks to wear her opponent out and pin them when they are at their weakest. She also does not shy away from using unfair tactics, when she feels like it.

Like every backstory this one starts in the past.
Mei did live in a rural area close to Kyoto. She had to take a 5 kilometer hike to get to school since there were no bus lines or anything going through her village. With her low social standing thanks to her upbringing, she also didn't get a lot of connections in school and was mostly treated as an outsider by everyone else. Her school days were certainly not the best times in her life. Her parents didn't like it that their daughter was mocked and scorned by others in school and so they taught their daughter to defend herself, while she was away.
After that it didn't take long until Mei started to fight back against those who picked on her daily. She fought back really well and after some time no one messed with her anymore, because the got afraid. It happened sometimes that she broke someone else a bone, which of course got her into so much trouble that her parents scolded her for it. Saying that just because she can, doesn't mean Mei should beat them into a hospital. Mei did try her best to stay out of trouble afterwards. It was surprisingly not that difficult for her, because people avoided her most of the time from now on.
After some time later, Mei walked around in Tokyo. Her class did a trip there for a week and one night, Mei noticed a LAW event, in which she was able to view some matches in the organisation. She was fascinated by the variety of fighters and matches that happened there and so she thought that one day she would join the league to again fight and not necessarily hold back against their opponents.
Personality
Mei can be a nice person. Emphasis on can. Of course it all depends on ,how the person who is talking to her, behaves. If people are a general pain in the ass to her then they will get punished in one way or another. That doesn't have to necessarily involve violents. Some times she just tricks people into licking her only to end up with no money or, eventhough it happened one time ( according to her), Mei could also break into someones apartment and trash the place. In other words the woman can be very revengeful when she doesn't like someone.
However that is just the worst case. In ring or in fights she might be mean but when people are nice to her, Mei will help them wherever she can.
