Persistent Pest; Emaline Vs. Gil "Amra-Gil-O"

Gil took a minute to finally come back to, and took another moment to really realize where she was and what exactly she was doing, or, what she was supposed to be doing...! "...My head feels like I just got out of the dryer..." Gil stood back on her own two feet, slightly wobblily, her vision blurred, but she was able to make herself back to her corner adjacent Emeline's...!

Her vision slowly began to clear, and she started to look a little more alive, and then she finally had a clear view of her foe; Emaline, that cocky grin on her face, acting like she just won the whole thing...! "...One fall won't win you the whole bout, Miss Emaline...!" Gil almost immediately turned back to her ways, a grin came across her face even though there was nothing for her to be grinning about right now...! "...Let's go, round two...!" Gil stepped forward, a slight wobble to her first step, but for the most part, she looked ready...!

Emaline smugly watched Gil lethargically regain consciousness and recollect herself. It didn't take long until she confidently challenged the pinkette, prompting her to snicker and shake her head. "My, my. Do you lack a sense of self-preservation I wonder?" She mused aloud while tapping her lips with a practiced introspective expression on her face.

"Or do you mayhaps experience pleasure through being utterly dominated and humiliated by your betters?" Shrugging her shoulders, she deftly hopped off the turnbuckle and placed her hands behind her back. "Very well, I am more than happy to resume our bout." Although she adopted a relaxed posture, she would suddenly strike out with a thrust kick aimed at the brunette's abdomen should she draw too close.

"...It's not a lack of self-preservation, it's my heart, and the will to never give up...!" Gil stated proudly! Maybe corny to some, stupid to others, but pretty much the entirety of Gil's philosophy could be boiled down to both having fun and doing her best, even when it was unreasonable to do so.

"...You talk a lot about being better than me, but do you really believe that...?" Gil tilted her head with a half-smile. She was sure she knew the answer, but the why was a little more interesting to Gil, what could have led Emaline to think she is this untouchable goddess...? "...Then come and get so-" Gil would catch a foot right into her gut, even though she was on-guard, she couldn't see such a quick attack coming her way...! "...Oof...!" She bent over, nearly tumbling but catching herself by wrapping both her arms around Emaline's waist.

"...Nice try..." Gil coughed. "...But I have you right where I want you...!" Gil gripped tight onto Emaline's bottoms, holding the waistband like handlebars and attempting to give one mean, mighty lift and toss over the back of her head...!

"Hmph." Emaline reacted to Gil's bold declaration by simply smirking before harshly interrupting her via a kick to the stomach. However,- "Huh?!" Much to the Viper's bewilderment, the brunette managed to latch her arms around Emaline's waist anyway. "No, wai-wah!" She tried to speak up only for her entire body to be thrown through the air.

"Erk!" Landing awkwardly onto her back, she hastily rolled onto all fours and attempted to jump back into her feet. "Such impudence..." Eyes blazing with anger, she rushed her opponent and leapt upwards. She shifted her weight as she flew before she fired both legs outwards towards Gil's head for a hard-hitting running dropkick.

Gil felt the fire coming in after that one, she could finally shift things in her favor, and prove to Emaline that she was no jobber, and she was no stepping stone, she was more than a thorn in her side, or a dummy to train with, she was a fighter! Perfectly capable, on the same level as her, ready to give her a tough match anytime she needed one...!

"...What do you think about-" Gil turned, barely getting half way around before Emaline connected a harsh blow to Gil's head with a high dropkick to the side of the head, making her drop to her side, catching herself sloppily on the ropes, her neck propped onto the top-most one with her arms dangling over. "...Ugh..." Maybe she wasn't qutire ready to be Emaline's sparring buddy yet...!

Emaline's boots bashed right into Gil's unsuspecting skull before using her head as a springboard to flip back into the air, execute a backflip, and gracefully land. The flaunty heel brushed her hair and dusted her shoulders upon making her landing. "My assessment of you has remained unchanged." She answered her opponent's interrupted question imperiously, crossing her arms and casually strutting towards Gil at the same time. "Even the most incompetent of wrestlers may be graced by good fortune." Suddenly, Emaline swung a backhand fist towards the brunette's face.

Things just seemed to stack against Gil, no matter the moves she made, or more accurately, attempted to make, only served as minor inconveniences to Emaline or bounced right off of her. She knew there was some way to break through, but whatever weakness there was on Emaline, she couldn't seem to spot it, she was almost invincible...!

"...Not sure why you're saying that to me, I'm plenty competent...!" Gil tried to prop herself up using words, but Emaline's backhand had other plans of keeping her down...! Gil's head turned sharply to the right before rearing back, still propped against the ropes.

Emaline's backhand fist unceremoniously shut up Gil, prompting the former the playfully shake her head. "You claim to be 'plenty competent' yet all you ever achieve is highlight how you are the exact opposite." She crossed her arms as she chided her opponent in a disingenuously polite tone. "I will concede that unlike before, you actually managed to actually land a move on me, even if it was via a fluke."

Losing herself in her monologue, she naturally lowered her guard. "Unfortunately, said improvement is minuscule to the point that it is simply not worth consideration." She paused to let out a soft giggle. "Though it is not for lack of trying on your part, you ever remain a hapless jobber for such is your nature. You ought to be grateful, to be provided words of enlightenment from one as illustrious as I, is a rare privilege."

Gil almost got lost in all the talk, Emaline was pretty busy with all this talking herself up, which Gil was all for, if it wasn't for her needing to use others as a stepping stool, maybe it came from a deep-rooted issue of self-doubt, or maybe she just didn't know how else to feel proud of herself... It sounded like an issue Gil needed to dig into, but that was for later, right now, Gil saw an opening...!

Gil let Emaline lose herself within her own speech, before lowering her shoulder and ramming it into the prim-woman's belly, tackling her down to the mat, driving her all the way, almost doubling as a slam...!

"Ough!.." A hoarse grunt escaped Emaline's lips when Gil rudely interrupted the heel mid-monologue by ramming into her. Her knees turned to jelly as she collapsed backwards, falling onto the ground with her opponent still on top of her. Winded by the unexpected strike, she wheezed weakly and remained flat on her back. "You..." However, if given enough time to recover, her wincing expression would transform into that of indignant fury before she viciously swung her elbow right at Gil's nose.
