Geun raised an eyebrow at his statement. "Me? Maybe. I don't like to make bets on my fights but Huan? Sorry, but my many is on her any day. First, she doesn't spar half as hard as she fights and she never lost her belt, she retired after getting bored of defending it."

Geun was perfectly honest, she thought she had a solid chance and even if Senji won it would be a hell of a fight but defeating Huan was just cocky of him. The last part about the title she said in a humorous tone.

"Triangle is actually one hold I'm pretty sure I do better but she got me beat on most other chokes. Though I try to go for a straight triangle first to throw an armbar in there as well.

She said before flipping the meat on the grill and taking another roll of Bossam

"I meant as in, the possibility of me doing it. I would not do it easily. The last time I fought a man statistically above her, by the end of it, I felt like I was about to collapse---and die."

Senji said that part with assured conviction and only a small amount of hesitation. It was clear he was sure of his statement about the comparison. The man whom he was speaking of was someone of a prior history, one who he was lucky to have not been turned into a vegetable or killed by. As a basic description, there was a clean set of black hair, onyx eyes that meant nothing but business, bare skin, and an tall imposing figure that Senji was on the lengthy road to matching. He had brought the late mercenary up due to needing someone to compare Huan to aside from his brother. If Senji could last as long as he did against Huan by himself, then Hiroyuki should be able to do better. If they ever fought the two together, then it'd be one hell of a tag team on both sides. A factor there was that Hiroyuki, since he was considerably more developed, would cover weaknesses that Senji had and vice versa. That'd count for something. Still, Huan and Geun held a lead over the youngest warrior between the two siblings.

"I'll try to keep making myself better."

Senji resolved. Judging by previous encounters, he was also a potentially shortish way from surpassing Huan in terms of outright power. She was utterly jacked, more so than most female fighters. Technique-wise, that's where the gap was the closest. He was taking Geun's advice in mind though. Being overly arrogant wasn't his style. Geun was also cut from stone despite the admirable face. Playing to his strengths was key in fights against the two and others like them.

"I think you are underestimating her by a lot. Judging her by your spars is not a good way of gageig her strength. In an all-out fight, I would say she is the best I know. Also don't you think you are rather full of yourself, comparing to a woman who spent her considerably longer life fighting and proving herself among the best? I can admit you could go up against me but Huan? I don't think so." Geun replied while taking the meat off the grill. Senji was sure confident, she liked that but couldn't resist teasing him about it a little.

Senji pinched his nose at that using his left fingers, desiring to deescalate the situation. He sighed down at his lap before gathering his thoughts. He knew, for the present and near future, the closest most recent people in terms of the ever shifting order were Geun, Hiroyuki, Geun if she turned out to have the edge over his brother, his own father, Huan, and then the transgressor who he managed to beat off of adrenaline and a fluke. That was an off-the-head list from least to greatest in terms of gap based on impromptu comparing and impressions. Consult the good doctor for a more in depth analysis.

"I didn't mean to come off as having a huge ego, Geun.---I'm her student for a reason."

Mostly, he was irritated at having come off in a way he hadn't wanted to. Senji dropped his fingers from the bridge before scooping up his chop sticks. Senji continued to slowly dig into his meat. The succulent protein filled his mouth as a result yet he kept it as not to the point of excess. This was where he kept his mouth closed to chew then swallow.

"I'm just messing with you."

Geun said before eating another price of meat and washing it down with water. That seemed to ruffle his feathers more than she expected.

"I just find it funny how young fighters tend to think like that. I was just like that, and having the shit kicked out of me by your teacher was a humbling experience. Come to think of it I was about your age, maybe a year younger."

She said slightly amused at what she was saying. She was still in her twenties and it felt strange to refer to the past like she just did.

The thing was, he was sure that he'd been humbled to a significant degree, any pride being sourced to feeling actual emotions and not being a piece of cardboard or his young age. Discipline had been instilled in him by his teachers when he'd been a wandering student preparing for an inevitable showdown. Therefore, he did like that Huan or Geun didn't go over that AGAIN with him. It'd just be treading through water he wasn't caring to go through once more. This was also evidenced by Senji knowing his place even if he wanted to naturally evolve his prowess. He took another sip of his water this time, giving a short grin at her afterward.

"Huan already beat me multiple times. And it does make sense that she holds back on me. I'm not sure if I could take all of her at one time though..."

Senji said, pondering the concept. If Lei wanted to fight him at full force, Senji would give her what he was given in return. It was only fair and had the highest chance of actually surviving that round. To add to that, he also was just speaking summarized variants of his inner thoughts. His responses were generally shorter than Geun's too. It made sense as well given his and her backgrounds. She was more sociable than he was but she could get more out of his vernacular if she picked the right topic. On the regard of the food, he had been about done with the beef portion of his meal. Takijima did temporarily cease the respectful devouring of it as to avoid choking or missing what Haru wanted to say to him.

"I had a chance to fight her at full force before, last time I ended up with a concussion, and I count that as progress."

Geun said with a laugh, she only got seriously hurt once fighting Huan, and seriously hurt in her book started from a full fracture. Either way she would rather not break bones if she could avoid it and that incident was a long time ago anyway.

"Though I'd say that she is not quite as good at pro wreastling yet. Not that she is bad, I guess just not used to the specifics of a new sport quite yet."

"I've thought I'm not stupid enough to ask her to do that. Two years ago was a very... enlightening time."

The painful memory of a first gut punch that nearly shattered his ribcage into what felt like powder was a heavy indicator of his words. They came out without much delight, since it was a sour topic he only tolerated hinting at if he was compelled to reference it. Senji did agree fundamentally on the topic of not breaking bones. Like iterated, Senji was mainly in it for the steady stream of income so long as he didn't mess himself up egregiously. Any broken bones he'd endured in his time away from the American mainland had healed up in the single pair of years. Senji, by this time, finished his plate of beef and was moving onto the Kimbap. Among the toppings there were ham, crab, and the like. Senji dove in explicitly. It was like a calm but chilling force of nature had descended upon the pieces of seaweed wrapped rice. After a bit, Senji stopped eating it. He took of a peaceful moment to give a half-lidded gaze to Geun before swallowing his prize. Thereupon, he continued to voice his shortened thoughts.

"Her Rear Naked Chokes were correct too during our sessions. She wants me to tap but she did knock me out during our recent spar. I haven't been in a technically sound variant for you...but you could not get your hooks in on me, that's right."

"Yeah, I could have done better. I would possibly be able to wrap myself around one of your legs though I didn't think you would be flexible enough to stand up with me sitting on your back. And then I should have gone for a short choke after the chicken wing. But it's easy to say what would be a better move when you are not in the middle of the action."

Geun said before finishing the last of her grilled meat and washing it down with some water.

"Though I have to say, pure grappling is not my thing, I like to have more options."

Senji quirked an eyebrow upward. She thought he wouldn't be able to stand up? As long as his opponent wasn't too heavy, his figure could take on the struggle with some effort. He grasped a hold of his cup of water, bringing to his lips to drink a quarter more of it before continuing. His expression could best be described as akin to a lost student that had just heard something flabbergasting.

"You aren't fat? Why wouldn't I be able to pick you up? You either chose to or did not know to finish the choke with one arm."

Unknowingly deciding to put himself at risk of injury, it was hoped by whatever decided his fate that she'd not misinterpret his comment and want to throttle him again. He used "finish" because she hadn't got him to submit with the choke and chicken wing combination. What Haru had managed to retain had been fairly tight but not the same efficient hold that could turn his mind to warm soup in her anaconda-like embrace. They'd both been held back by the rules, but Senji less so since he felt more comfortable with grappling despite having a foundation in boxing like he had mentioned to her. Geun was a hard one to compete with though, especially since he was on the last stretches of developing naturally and she was already fully grown. That said, he raised his fingers as to slide his plate of Kimbop if Geun wanted to partake in a few pieces since he had quite the amount.
