Standard Match: Victory will be decided via pin, submission, knockout, count out, or disqualification.
The winner will advance to the Quarterfinals of the LAW Heavyweight Championship Tournament.

This was it, the qualifying fight was a hard fought win and now the first match of the tournament. Alaina knew no one was going to be an easy draw. However, she never thought she would face a woman with the sheer size of Michelle. She was a powerful, statuesque giant who could crush any woman she wanted. Alaina was going to have her work cut out for her in this one.
Taking a deep breath, Alaina looked herself over in the mirror and nodded to herself. She looked ready, and she knew she was ready. She had won titles before when she wrestled. Now to go out and show the world the 42 year old mom still had it in here to win gold again.
As her music began to play a hyped up Alaina came out, bouncing around and taking in the loud cheers of the crowd. She high fived fans all the way down the ramp. At the base she paused to strike a pinup girl pose, then flexed her arms to show off a bit more before she slid underneath the ropes and into the ring. She strut around with confidence as she basked in the adoration of the crowd, smiling and blowing a few kisses to the fans. Tonight was the next step in her mission, that belt that she was working towards was the entire reason she came back. Now, she had to win and keep winning to justify her comeback.
Michelle had made it through the qualifiers and now was in the tournament. She didn't mind who she got drawn against, but even the red giant paused for breath as the name, Alaina came out. The Amazon was like Michelle, a veteran of the ring, a class act with a repertoire of moves that could crush anyone.
She was a legend.
Michelle usually played the heel due to her size, same as she could play the almost comical jobber for lightweights, who she adored. Tonight was a more serious and straight up affair, Alaina deserved respect and Michelle was not about to sully the event with cheap crowd antics.
As her music hit, she made her way to the ring, eyes focused.
Michelle couldn't help think that this match would have been an ideal final, best for business, however the bookers didn't see it that way.
Stepping over the top rope, Michelle walked right up to Alaina stood mid ring. Nose to nose, face to face. In a move mirroring Hulk and Andre.
Eventually without saying a word, the giant stepped back and offered a handshake of mutual respect. The crowd anticipation was electric, would Alaina shake hands? Would Michelle go for a cheap shot?
Alaina looked at this powerful giant of a woman coming out. She was in awe of her size, knowing she had a lot of work cut out for her tonight. Alaina saw Michelle march up to her and extend her hand. Alaina smiled and shook Michelle's hand. "You may be the biggest woman I have ever faced, and the biggest I will have to slam down to the mat." Alaina said with a wink.
She stood there for a second with Michelle as the bell rang. Alaina had to test this out, knowing that Michelle was likely muxh stronger given her size and fitness. Still, Alaina had to know....
The amazon lunged in, trying to kick things off with a grapple and test of strength!
Michelle glanced over Alaina's muscles, for an older wrestler, she looked fantastic. Strong, powerful and determined. The comment didnt phase the red giant, she had taken on girls bigger and smaller, and won or lost depending, but Alaina was not someone to be messed with. Michelle simply smiled and nodded her head as if to say that she would be no push over
As the pair clashed in the grapple, Michelle used her weight to try and bully Alaina to the ropes or the corner, if it worked she would try to use her body to keep the Amazon pinned a while before stepping back, conscious that the ref would be all over them given the match importance.
Michelle would release and step back, a grin on her face. She would stand hands on her hips.
"Where's that power Amazon?"
Michelle wasn't really taunting Alaina, it was more a poke. She respected the veteran but couldn't help herself.
Despite her best efforts and her giving it her all, Alaina was forced back slowly but steadily as Michelle had proven to be the stronger woman in the ring. Alaina cried out as her back was pressed against the corner and she tried in vain to shove Michelle away. Michelle only was moved away when Michelle herself stepped back of her own accord.
Alaina shook her head at Michelles words and stepped out from the corner. "You want to see some strength huh?" Alaina said as she stepped towards Michelle, trying to rock her abdomen with a hard one-two punch combo to try to establish herself in this match! Michelle was bigger and stronger. Alaina wanted to find out how well she could take a hit and see if she was as tough as the amazon was!
The crowd booed as Michelle started her heelish routine. It was just something that came naturally, and given the legions of fans that Alaina had all over the globe, the giant redhead was only to happy to oblige in being the, 'bad girl' for now. She stood there hands on her hips, thrusting her chest out and Alaina duly answered.
"AGGGGHHH"
The first blow made the giant clutch at herself, and take a step back. As the follow up landed the crowd erupted in urging Alaina on. Michelle staggered back and found the ropes at her back looking to get some distance between the pair. Alaina's phenomenal strength meant she punched hard. Even a boxer would struggle against the sheer power of those, 'thunder fists'
Now up against the ropes, Michelle bent over and held out an arm signifying she needed a bit of time. The giant dipping into her bag of tricks, Flair style to insinuate she was a lot more hurt. It was to buy time and to frustrate Alaina. For all the respect she had, Michelle wanted gold just as much.
Alaina always was a sucker for the rules. Once Michelle made it to the ropes and clinged to them for dear life, the amazon backed off. She stood ready to continue, in the middle of the ring as Michelle was staggered. "Come on, I know I put all I had in them but you are way bigger, I know you can take a few nasty hits and keep going. I've seen enough of your matches to know how tough you are." Alaina said, beckoning Michelle forward.
Alaina crouched and waited, and once Michelle was clear from the ropes she would try to run at her and leap knee-first to hammer the giant woman with a running knee strike! If it hit, Alaina would be right back in control even after granting Michelle her little break. However, if the giant countered it into a slam or devastating strike then Alaina would be the one in a very bad spot!
Michelle was happy to heel up and play possum to bend the rules as much as possible. Given her experience and slightly older age, she needed these frequent breaks. Michelle wasn't weak or fragile, far from it. She once took a triple piledriver from the famed Japanese wrestler, Devil Kinucci and managed to kick out of a pin attempt. However she was facing yet another skilled heavyweight and so would do all she could to make the match as great as possible.
As she heard Alaina, the giant flashed her a smile. She knew the Amazon was wise to her games, hell, Alaina probably did them also.
With the incoming knee strike, Michelle readied herself, she waited until the jump and shifted her position to grab Alaina and twist. She would use the momentum to slam down the Amazon in a huge spinebuster, letting her big body and weight add to the impact as she looked to turn the match momentum
If it hit, Michelle would press her hands on Alaina's shoulders lay on her body, between the veterans legs for a full body pin attempt
"Count!"
She barked at the ref. Michelle knew it was way too early to get a 3 count, but it was a reminder to Alaina how strong and experienced Michelle was when she needed to be
Alaina flew at Michelle, but instead of driving her back it was Alaina being lift up! Alaina hit the mat and hit hard with the thunderous force Michelle put into the spine buster! Alaina cried out in pain as the sound echoed and ring ropes continued to shake after the impact!
"ONE!"
Alaina groaned and thrust her shoulder up soon after the one count, looking up at Michelle. "Gonna take way more than that to put me away..." Alaina said with a pained expression on her face. Kicking out from under a woman Michelle's size was a monumental task. It took all Alaina had not to stay down. She couldn't risk staying down for a two count or more this early.
However, Michelle was as ring smart as she was strong. Alaina would have to be more careful from here on out.
