Athena got Alexia off of her after kicking out, though she wasn't in a good condition at the moment. It seemed that Alexia was miffed by the fact that Athena still managed to kick out, and as Athena tried to get up, Alexia went to kick her in her head.

The kick to her head was enough to knock Athena down onto the mat. Groaning and clutching her head, Athena was in quite a dire spot, and it seemed that her recovery would be quite slow, which would give Alexia an upper hand over her.
