Backstage Negotiations (For RedShinigami)

With the loud cheers of the crowd fading into the background, Suzume made her way backstage. She was a sweaty and exhausted mess. Even as she tried to calm herself down though her heart was still beating fast. A flurry of thoughts raced through her mind. She couldn't believe it. Her second win. And this one wasn't against someone LAW had just deemed the biggest loser. Clearly this one wasn't a fluke. She was trending upward!

Somehow she still felt full of energy, even if her body was telling her otherwise. Despite feeling as if she had just ran a marathon, she almost wanted to run another. And the lightweight couldn't hide a satisfied smile and extra spring in her step. This feeling must be what pushed people to continue competing. There was still much work to be done though. The lightweight didn't have the luxury of resting on her laurels. She'd have to train harder and then win number three was sure to come. Who knew what could happen after that.

At least for now though Suzume figured she had earned a nice hot shower. With each passing moment she was starting to wind down, feeling more and more fatigued. She was almost at the locker room though where she could at least collapse for a few minutes if she really had to.

When Suzume went backstage, still high from her win over one part of the So Cal Connection, Ash Daniels, there was someone waiting for her right behind the Gorilla position. "Fräulein Sheska!", the deep and seductive voice, with a hint of an austro-german accent reached the ears of the younger woman as Harmonia Edelstein, the Superstar, stepped out of the shadows, clapping her hands. "Congratulations Fräulein Sheska, you were great.", she smiled and walked up to her. "You know who I am?", she said and waited for an answer. Either way she would follow up. "You have been beaten by Ashley before but that did'nt held you down. You trained even more ,got stronger and challenged her again. And you won. I find that very impressive...and relatable.", she smiled and put a hand on the younger girls shoulder. "Meet me in the parking lot after you got yourself cleaned up. We have much to talk about.", the woman with the red sunglasses said, Suzumes face reflecting in both of them as she left, the sound of the heels of her white boots echoing through the hallways...

With her sights set solely on the locker room, Suzume wasn't paying much attention to anything else when suddenly Harmonia seemed to show up out of nowhere. "Haaah!" The brunette squeaked, hopping back and practically bracing herself up against the wall. She could feel her heard suddenly racing, almost making her a bit lightheaded. "Don't...just DO that." She'd huff as she regained her senses. She couldn't stay too mad though as the congratulations reached her ears. Unfortunately she had no idea who it was that was now praising her. "I umm...Don't know much of anything right now." Suzume sheepishly mumbled. Harmonia didn't seem to pay that any mind though as they continued with their speech. The only words Suzume was really able to take away from it all at the moment were "Impressive" and "Meet me in the parking lot." She wasn't sure what this was about but she was going that way soon anyway and she was a sucker for a good dose of praise and would just nod before Harmonia left.

After a quick hot shower and a change of clothes, Suzume made her way out of the locker room. Now it was time to celebrate after her win which for today just meant a nice sweet treat. "Ok, ice cream...smoothie...or oh maybe one of those super topping filled sugar rush inducing bubble teas" She'd mumble to herself as she left the building, making her way through the parking lot. "Oh wait right! Parking lot first!" She'd say, seemingly just remembering that she had agreed to meet a certain blonde here.

Harmonia waited patiently in her beloved Audi for a girl that could more or less be the first chapter in the next book of her career. Suzume Cheska was definetly a talented and resilient girl that only lacked focus and some guidance.

Maybe Harmonia saw something of herself in the younger woman but whatever it was, Harmonia wanted to see if she could step into the footsteps of her sensei Dana, starting with one student and then maybe founding her own academy. She had the money and the ressources but did she have the talent? Well, more or less Suzume would be her guinea pig, her test subject so to speak but Harmonia did'nt just do it for herself. She knew with her training and her ressources she could support the girl to reach for the top.

When she saw the bispecled girl running around the parking lot, her head in the clouds she leaned forward on her stirring wheel and gave an amused smile. After a few minutes she shook her head and honked. When the Japanese turned to her, Harmonia waved with her hand and drove into her direction, opening the passenger door for her. "Hop in, I treat the winner to a dinner.", she said with a grin and then stepped on the gas. "How did it feel?", Harmonia suddenly started as they drove into downtown tokyo.

After heading out to the parking lot, Suzume would look around. She didn't see anyone there waiting for her. She'd take a few steps forward before rising to her toes, trying to peer over a few of the cars. A sudden loud honk spooked the brunette. "Haaah!" She'd gasp as she was alerted to Harmonia's presence. That was twice they had practically given Suzume a heart attack.

She didn't really know what to expect but such a lavish car was certainly wasn't what she had in mind. Or maybe it just seemed that way since she didn't have one. That thought persisted as she got into the car and sunk into the passenger seat. "Oh umm really? You really don't have to. I thought you just wanted to talk about the match or league stuff after all, right?" She'd respond. Suzume had at first assumed Harmonia wanted an interview or something of the sort but soon figured that wasn't the case. She wouldn't think about it too much though. A free dinner sounded nice about now and she really didn't have anything interesting planned for the rest of the day anyway.

Soon the two were off, heading into town. "Hmmm? Oh right the win! Haha welllll I kinda felt a bit bad for Ashley for a second..." She'd say, pausing for a moment before just flashing a wide smile. "But ok ok, it felt super great! It was really awesome to have everyone cheering for me!" A now beaming Suzume explained.
