If Kuro was being honest with herself, she really didn't care about the Openweight Belt. A big shiny belt to mark her accomplishments as a wrestler would be nice, but the main goal of Kuro's run in LAW was to get fans, be cute, get fans while being cute, and rub a few people into the dirt during a match where she could be as violent and malicious as she wanted. The belts, the qualifiers, the even the people making decisions about those things didn't really matter to her. All that running around people were doing just looked liked way to much effort.

But... then again, she might be able to run into Alizeh again. And the idea of snubbing that arrogant little showoff during her qualifier runs, and maybe even snubbing her out of Apex outright would be pretty satisfying, especially if she got to make her cum all over the ring again. "Huuuu~" Just the idea of humiliating that woman was enough to get the kunoichi's spirit burning. It'd make for the perfect revenge. Hell, maybe she'd be able to stomp some goody-two-shoes fighter along the way. She had about 3 shots to do it. Screwing a few people and taking the wind out of their qualifiers might be a fun time.

And soon it was Kuro's time to arrive. The stage was quiet. The lights were lowered to an ominous dim, and the crowd went in silent suspense. Then-

"Shinobi of Black Shadows...!"

A smoke bomb was tossed onto the stage, exploding in a black fog as the lights kicked on along with Kuro's theme.

"Kuro. Is. HERE!"

And at her appearance the crowd exploded in cheers. For all the humiliation Alizeh made her suffer through, fighting a well known wrestler had its perks, even if she lost the fight. But those cheers also probably came from Kuro's new wardrobe change. After that bitch Alizeh took her headband she felt it was best to switch things up, so her attire was a little more modern. A tanktop, some shorts with rather stretchy, thin fabric, kneepads, and her ever-present fishnets. Still had the ninja theme, but a bit kicked up.

And the crowd seemed to like the outfit, cheering and celebrating the kunoichi as she walked down the ramp. A few even crowing and asking her to force another woman to orgasm, along with a few asking for her to cum in public again for their amusement. And as much as she internally grimaced at the latter she gave them all waves, smiles, and twirls as she hopped onto the ring, giving one last cutesy pose before the strutting over to her corner and waiting for her opponent.

Cassandra.. really wanted that Openweight Belt. It wasn’t cause it was shiny, it wasn’t cause she thought she was the best.. it was merely a goal she strove towards accomplishing. Psyche, Cassandra, Drakona.. all of her sides wanted to make it big in Law and the Openweight Apex context was violent.

“Okay.. okay. I’l win this.. I’ll DEFINITELY win this.”

She’d sigh lightly. Cassie slapped her cheeks a couple times backstage, her thoughts straying to all the people she’s fought. She’s come a fairly long way, and wondered if she would see Saori or Alizeh in the ring of Apex someday. She’d narrow her eyes, steeling herself. Her opponent wasn’t really one known to play by Cassie’s rules, aka.. no sexual acts.

She’d wrinkle her face up. She really felt uncomfortable with all the sexual exposure in LAW, but everyone, even her own mom didn’t mind! And more than Cass would like to admit, she definitely had a sexual side to her sometimes. Meeting her own eyes in the mirror, Cassandra clapped her cheeks to amp herself up.

Showtime.

Bursting out into the ring, no smoke, no fancy flashes, Cassandra kept it simple. That was her, spoke wonders about her personality. She wasn’t Psyche, or Drakona, for Apex she was Cass. And Cass broke into a run, racing down the ramp and sliding underneath, clambering right into the ring without a moment’s hesitation. Swift, without fanfare.. and silent, like a true ninja.

Of course.. as she stared down Kuro, she wasn’t without her playful side too. She knew Kuro’s gig was a shinobi.. so Cassie just dug out her own ninja cosplay, never debuted before. A far stretch from Kuro’s own outfit, Cassandra’s looked like a legitimate stone cold assassination gear, face hidden by a mask and all. The face mask also served to hide her slight smirk.. but if her wink to Kuro was anything to go by, this match would be exhilarating.

Before the match between lightweights started properly there was one more person that would be coming out. A special judge to evaluate both girls performances in this match and their aptitude for Apex overall and potential as champions. Someone with years in the business and a fairly strong record in LAW in her own right, who while not competing in Apex herself, was more than eager to see the potential candidates in action for herself, and now her music was the one playing.

At first though people were confused, unfamiliar with up beat, almost mythical sounding string performance that was now playing for them. Soon though the crowd would erupt into cheers as one Aella Midori stepped out. A veteran of the wrestling business for decades and making a recent splash in LAW she was quickly deemed a fan favorite, and while not in her wrestling attire she was still getting loud whoops and cheers from fans for her in a all white, over the shoulder dress with a slit down the side to expose her toned leg and allow for better mobility.

Making her way down to the ring with a microphone in hand as her music played Aella would climb up the ring apron and slip her way into the ring, intent on addressing the two youngsters before the bout began. "Cassandra." She said with a nod to the aforementioned Grecian before turning to the girl's opponent. "Kurokage." She said with a nod before standing up fully to look at both after addressing them.

Looking between the two she would wait for a moment before smiling. "I'm honored to be here evaluating the two of you on you're path to Apex, even if both of you aren't competing you both represent the future of our industry, and I cannot wait to see what both of you have to show." She said simply with another nod before walking to the other side of the ring, closer to the announcers table before turning over her shoulder. "Neither of you hold anything back, give it you're all, and show why you deserve to be at the top of apex." She said with a small smirk and final nod before exiting the ring and walking over to the announcers desk, thanking the announcers for having her before taking a seat and slipping the headphones on before turning to the ring, excited for her front row seat to this match and ready to evaluate both.

Kuro's eyes glanced to the entrance, widening at the sight she took in. A ninja. Another ninja. Her expression shifted to a more exaggerated shock for the sake of her cutesy appearance, but her mind buzzed like a hive as she saw her opponent move down the ring. What the hell? Her information network was pretty solid, and she knew Cassandra had two gimmicks, a butterfly and a dragon. What the hell was this copycat doing stealing her shtick. It wasn't even flashy attire. Granted, that in itself was ninja-like, but... seriously. What a pain... Still, she kept a smile and curious gaze as she watched her opponent move down the ramp with so little flair, only giving her fellow shinobi and light smile at her wink. Faker...

But the next sight nearly had Kuro's bright face darken.

A third entrance, not by another wrestler (at for this match), but for the judge. And Kuro's heart immediately sank as she saw the woman.

Aella Midori.

What. The actual. Fuck?

What universal conspiracy was going on to make Kuro's life a further living hell before the match even started? Why was the mother of that stuck-up upstart Alizeh judging this match of all things? Was Alizeh that much of a spiteful bitch or...? No... No, Alizeh-chan isn't that awful... It wouldn't be the first time a supposedly honorable fighter turned out to be a cheating, grudge-holding asshole the moment they didn't get their way in the ring, but Alizeh actually had enough of a reputation that Kuro could be confident she wasn't that petty. Her mother... Kuro honestly didn't have as much information on aside from her past and general accolades as an experienced veteran. A real veteran and not an upstart with gimme-fights that her daughter pretended to be a record. A lot of information to be sure, but Kuro's main research went into the Lightweight Division. Her mind would explode if she had consider everyone else in this company. But.... it still sucked. She'd have to fight a faker and try breaking what might be a familial bias to screw her. Well, a kunoichi breaking the odds might just be the thing Kuro needs.

And besides, the woman's words seemed generally fair, a basic greeting and encouragement to do one's best and showing off their stuff. Maybe... it was just a coincidence. Those happened here in LAW after all.

Alright then... She took a breath, then gave Cassandra a bright smile.

"Let's do our best as fellow kunoichi, Cass-chan~!"

To Cassandra, the inclusion of Aella was.. not a concern. Mainly, due to Cassandras lack of knowledge of many people in LAW, she was clueless as to who the elder Medori really was, other than going by Kuro.. she was displeased by her appearance. This made her turn her face and peer forwards at Aella, scrunching her face up almost cutely.. she seemed KINDA familiar. She reminded her of.. not just in face, but in certain mannerisms, the last girl she had fought in LAW, Alizeh Midori..

Thinking back to the encounter, Cassie’s face shimmered with some semblance of excitement, since she really did wanna meet Alizeh again. She considered her a friend, and she didn’t know she had.. what seemed to be her mama in LAW. That was actually very similar to her own tale of a mother in LAW.. Drasna Selinofoto wasn’t however the most.. well, she wasn’t in the best of speaking terms with her ma. She’d place a hand onto her cheek.. but now, as she was addressed, she’d stand up straight and proud. Cassandra nodded at her, curling her hand into her fist.

“I’ll do my best, miss!”

She still didn’t know Aellas name. She figured she’d have to ask after the match. But she’d turn her focus towards Kurokage. Kuro.. if Cassandra had to describe her opponent in two words, it would be sickly sweet. Kuro was like a poisoned apple, perfect and delicious on the outside.. but hiding on the inside was a bitterness that was potentially deadly. Many wouldn’t see through the veil, but words had always been Cassandras second language as compared to her much more adept language of reading the others body. She didn’t normally apply it in LAW, deeming it an unfair advantage but.. this was quite possibly the biggest fight of her life so far.

She would give it her all.

Cass levelled Kuro with a uncertain, but firm gaze as she addressed her as “Cass-chan”.

“I will do so, Kurokage. And I will do my level best to take victory from your grasp.. as I doubt you will be trying to do any less. May the truer kunoichi win.”

Truer. Not better. Odd choice of wording.

Truer? The words rang and Kuro's head like a loud, clanging bell tower, droning on and on to the point of numbing the word's very definition. Kuro's smile remained plastered on her face, but her mind blitz through a frenzy of spiteful thoughts. Truer... what kind of shounen anime bullshit was this girl on? Truer... Like that actually meant something in this damnable ring. A true kunoichi would had dropped the pretenses the second Cassandra stepped into the ring just shot out poison mist to get an edge. A true kunoichi wouldn't even be trying to win that ugly as sin belt legitimately and just steal it from the next open-weight champ's locker room the second they got it and their guard was down. A true kunoichi would b-

No... Kuro should be nice... for now.

"Hehe~" She cut off her own mental tirade with a giggle, offered Cassandra a wide and excited grin in response as she leaned forward. "Haaaii~ Kuro will show Cass-chan a lot of fun kunoichi moves!"

*DING*

And split-second the bell rang Kuro moved immediately with a uppercut palm strike to Cass's chin. First rule of the shinobi: react fast.

With a smile of her own, not that it was particularly visible due to Cassandra’s mask on, she’d keep a somewhat silent and stoic composure. Cassandra did giggle a bit though when she heard “fun kunoichi moves”. She had a feeling their definition of what was “fun” varied greatly.

The black haired girl smiled at her politely. She’d take a step back, clasping her fingers together, just in time to hear the bell ring. But like a cobra, Kuro struck out at her chin mercilessly, a powerful strike that could give her a heavy advantage right off the bat..!

If Cassandra hadn’t been expecting something like that. Admittedly she had been expecting a kick instead of a strike, so she was a smidge late in raising her hand up to block, barely making in time and having the somewhat diverted strike hit her chin! Cass.. fell.

Or a little less then fell, Cassandra tilted back her whole body, doing a cartwheel backwards, bringing her lower body up, alongside her legs to go for a kicking strike right at Kuro’s chin, a little tit for tat!

To Kuro's annoyance it wasn't a clean hit. A quick and sudden strike didn't completely blindside Cassandra, but the bit of hesitation she showed was just enough to nail her chin a little with the edge of her palm. It was enough to make Cassandra fall back at least. First blood~ Now Kuro just has t- She paused her thoughts, eyes locked on the tilting Cassandra. That blow didn't hit clean enough for Cassandra to just fall over like-

"Waah~" One glance down and Kuro saw Cassandra's leg shoot upward. "Gh-!" Kuro's body moved before her mind processed it, getting clipped herself right on the as she staggered back on reflex.

"!!!" Knocked back a step, Kuro quickly brought a hand to her jaw, blinking in surprise as a bead of sweat dropped from her cheek. Close... If her instincts didn't kick in that'd be a disastrous counter. "Oooh..." Kuro let out a exhale and awed cooed in one breath, her eyes dazzled. "Wow, so cool~"

Cassandra was a little more.. focused than Kuro on the match. Or well, outwardly. Inwardly Cassandra has no doubt, that even through all the pomp and glamour Kuro had been showcasing, she was just as desperate as Cassie for this win. And what a win it was, an Apex qualifier? That was just.. something she’d go a hundred percent for.

Her cartwheel made her land smoothly, her feet on the ground. But Cass didn’t give her, or herself a second to breathe. She’d kick off, breaking into a run and charging headfirst right into Kuro’s waist! No grab, just a direct, fast, headbutt. The grab came *after* and if Kuro was winded from her counter, wrapping her arms around Kuro’s hips.. lifting her up and bashing her down with a merciless THUD!!

No soon did Cassandra touch the ground did she come running again. It almost looked like a mad charge, something rather unbecoming of a so-call true ninja. "Hm..." It didn't look like a takedown attempt either. No, Cassandra really was about to try rushing a lithe, speedy, sneaky ninja like an animal. So uncool... Cass-chan should stick to the butterfly thing. It honestly made Kuro ashamed the girl was donning ninja attire. Oh well... Now, Kuro thinks it went-

"Hup!" As Cassandra approach, Kuro bent her knees and lowered her body, as if about to take the tackle head-on. "Teriya!" Only to spring off her legs and send on leg flipping up right under Cassandra's chin, springboarding off her hands in a similar cartwheel kick that the woman had preformed just before.
