Meeting in Shadows (For Arjuna)

Teuila cursed softly to herself after having to release her submission hold on Dana, knowing that thus far it was the most dominant she had been in the spar. 'Damn my legs are sore too.' The Samoan thought to herself, rubbing them softly after stumbling upon releasing her foe. 'But it's fine. Dana's hurting too so I can definitely try to get the-' "GAH!!!"

Any other thought Teuila had was cut off when she was taken from behind with what felt like a bull charging into her back, bowling the girl over and sending her down to the mat. "Ugh..." Groaning softly in pain from the pain in her back Teuila would try to get back up onto her feet, but she was slow and holding her back as she did so, clearly affected by Dana's sheer force.

Successfully knocking Teuila down by attacking her from behind, Dana could see that her student was trying to get up. Knowing that she could take advantage of this, Dana would quickly get herself on Teuila's back, bringing herself down and keeping her pinned underneath her.

Once she put herself into the position, Dana would try to grab both Teuila's arms and drape them over her knees. Then, she would reach down to Teuila's chin, clasping her hands together under it so that she could subject her to a camel clutch.

Teuila groaned softly in pain from her position down on the mat, in pain and even a bit dazed from Dana's surprise attack having caught her fully off guard. A state the veteran wrestler was quick to make use of as she planted herself down ass first on Teuila's back, reaching around to grab her chin and pull the Samoan girl up in a camel clutch! "Aghhh!" Moaning in pain from the hold Teuila immediately shook her head, trying to struggle in Dana's clutches, but for now all she could do was struggle vainly in a effort to free herself, but Dana simply weighed too much to do anything that she normally would!

Now subjecting Teuila into a camel clutch, Dana would yank back her head with her clasped hands under her chin. "Well, do you submit? Remember this isn't a real match..." Dana reminded her protégé as she would continue applying pressure into the hold, cranking Teuila's head as she did so. Considering that this was just a sparring match, there was no need for them to get too serious because there was no stake here. Of course, she wanted to see how far her student was willing to endure the hold before eventually submitting. Or perhaps she might find a way to escape this. Either way, Dana was looking forward to see what Teuila would do.

Teuila was not in a good place right now. Dana had a strong grip around her chin and was pulling back mightily, seriously damaging her neck and head in the process. Something that making it hard for her to think, let alone come up with a plan to escape. When asked to quit however she did her best to shake her head in a resounding no. "No way! Not yet!" Teuila gasped out as she pulled her arms free from Dana's legs and began to slam her fists into Dana's hands, digging her nails in against them as well, anything and everything that she could do to try and force her teacher to release the hold!

Dana was impressed by Teuila's unwillingness to give up, but she also need to teach her to always know her battles. Still, if Teuila thought that she could continue, then Dana would allow it.

"Nghh!!" Dana grunted when Teuila hit and clawed her hands. After a while, Dana decided to let go of her protégé, freeing her from the camel clutch. Getting up and stepping back, she rubbed her hands to soothe the pain.

"Well, if you insist on continuing, I'm fine with it." Dana would let Teuila to pick herself up, as if allowing her to catch her breath. The veteran herself seemed to be amused by the whole thing as she watched the younger woman.

Teuila had honestly gotten pretty desperate to get free of that hold. Resorting to trying to batter and claw at whatever part of Dana she could get her hands on. In this case it was Dana's own, and luckily that was enough to get the woman off of her.

"Huagh... Huagh..." Panting softly Teuila would slowly but surely push herself up to her feet, the effects of the spar clearly having taken a toll on her.

But despite that she didn't look ready to give up in the slightest. "Good. Cause I'm not done yet teach." Teuila said with grit in her voice as she charged at Dana, seemingly going low for a double legged take down. But in truth when she got close to her teacher Teuila would jump up, attempting to switch targets to Dana's chin with a headbut!

Dana smiled proudly at her protégé as she watched her making her move. Seeing that Teuila charging at her and going low, Dana thought that Teuila might be going for a double-legged takedown, but when she got closer, she suddenly shifted her trajectory, moving upwards and bringing her head up for a headbutt under her chin!

"UUGHH!!"

Dana staggered back, her head thrown back from the impact of the headbutt. She had to struggle to maintain her footing, or else she might fall onto her butt. This left her unable to focus on her student, though she doubted that Teuila was in any better shape, considering that she had just used her head, which would also leave her dizzied.

"Agh... that smarts." Teuila said softly to herself after managing to successfully connect with a headbut right to Dana's chin, clearly managing to do some damage and even stun Dana by the looks of it. 'Hell yeah.' Teuila thought to herself despite the pain. After all she had managed to stun THE Dana Ashford! That in of itself was an accomplishment, one that was making Teuila feel even bolder than she already had been.

Darting forward Teuila would reach out, trying to wrap her arms around Dana's body as if she was giving her mentor a hug. But nothing could further from the truth for Teuila. Instead the moment she got her arms around the woman Teuila would take a deep breath before attempting to pull back while lifting Dana off her feet, turning as she did so in order to try and bring the woman down into the mat with a belly to belly suplex!

Still dizzied from being struck under her chin, Dana was unable to mount up enough defense as Teuila decided to wrap her arms around her, giving her a hug. Blinking as she tried to clear her mind, it seemed that her protégé was planning something, but before she could do anything, she was hoisted up and thrown down onto the mat with a belly-to-belly suplex!

"UUUGHHHH!!"

Crashing down onto the mat, Dana scrunched up her brow before she rolled over to her side, bringing a hand to her back. It hurt quite a lot, though with her phenomenal resilience, she knew that she could take it. Puffing out, Dana would get on all four before attempting to get herself back up before Teuila could take advantage of her current state.
