Meeting Your Idols: Astrid Ostberg (c) vs. Tina Kelley

As Astrid got wedged from the hip toss she would twist her body sideways, trying her best to avoid Astrid's flailing as she would lean into Astrid to make her upper body drape over her shoulders. She would then hold onto one of Astrid's wrists while her other arm hooked around one of Astrid's thighs as she attempted to pull her away from the corner. She would be panting a slight bit, as she would only move far enough to where the ropes were no longer within reach as she if she managed to do that, she would then fall backwards to make Astrid's body crash to the mat in an attempted samoan drop!

Gritting her teeth, Astrid struggled against the ropes forcing her into a bent-over position and keeping her trapped in place. She tried to force enough motion into her arms and legs to wriggle free, but nothing was working - with her motion as restricted as it was, all she was succeeding at was wedging herself even deeper between the ropes, causing her to let out a breathless groan as she felt her diaphragm pushed upward into her lungs. But this wasn't even the crux of Tina's plan. She didn't just want to keep the Norsewoman trapped - she wanted to set her up for something even bigger!

Suddenly, Astrid found herself being pulled forward, and with a pop her body came loose from the ropes. But Tina still had a good grip on her limbs, hoisting her higher into the air - and Astrid gasped at the thought of what was ahead for her! She tried to twist and turn, doing her best to summon the strength she needed to kick free. But soon, she found herself draped over Tina's shoulders, and she realized what she was setting up too late to do anything about it! Just then, Tina dropped backward - and Astrid was slammed hard into the mat with the Samoan Drop, her hips bucking up from the canvas and her legs kicking in the air as the wind was knocked out of her lungs, leaving her gasping and sputtering!

After the sleerphold and the power move, Tina needed to slow things down in her favor. So after the Samoan drop Tina sat up running a hand through her blue hair as she took a steady breath. She then shifted herself behind Astrid as swung the body of the sweater tied around her waist to drape behind her as she sat on the ground as she would then press her upper body into Astrid's back as she would snake her legs to wrap around Astrid's waist to give her an initial long winded squeeze as she would position Astrid in a body scissors.

If the scissors were locked, Astrid's feet would be facing the center of the ring with her back facing a corner. She would find that her arms were closer to the ropes then it would be if she tried to stretch her legs out, but she still wouldn't be able to reach them without having to stretch for them if that was an option she wanted to exercise. Tina would grip at the mat with her hands at her sides as she would continue to steady her breaths while her squeezing would switch from the long initial squeeze to tightening her legs up to squeeze in intense short intervals, looking to wear out her opponent as opposed to trying to go for a painful submission.

The two women had seemed evenly matched from the beginning, and for some time it seemed as though the balance would hold. But Tina was swiftly making a comeback, managing to trap Astrid in a difficult position before slamming her down hard into the mat with a Samoan Drop! The impact had all but knocked the wind out of the Norsewoman's lungs, and now the crowd was lighting up with cheers and applause for Tina. They knew how much this meant for her - she had strived for this moment, to take on her idol in the ring and to stand up to her challenge, and not only was she doing a respectable job, she looked to be winning!

Now that Astrid was down, Tina had an opportunity to move in and secure her dominance, and that was something she was ready to do. She got up behind the blonde, guiding her into her lap, and when Astrid was still groggy from her landing, she did little to resist. At first she could only groan under her breath as she slumped into position - it wasn't until a moment later, as Tina's legs squeezed down around her waist with powerful force, that Astrid knew what was about to happen to her!

Suddenly, Astrid sprung back to her senses, her eyes opening wide as a stifled gasp left her lungs. She tried to twist and turn from side to side, fighting against the pressure bearing down around her, but it was no use - Tina had her locked in good, and as she went on to brace her body against the mat, she was strengthening her hold even further! Astrid wheezed as the air was forced out of her lungs - her airways had already been folded over from when Tina wrapped her in the ropes, but it was nothing compared to the brutal, crushing pressure she could apply with her legs!

However, Tina wouldn't keep the pressure up forever. Eventually, she loosened her grip - only to clamp down just as hard a moment later, transitioning to a series of squeezes and releases in quick succession. Astrid was shaken with each tightening and release of the pressure, and she could barely keep up - at first. After a while, as it became clear to her that there was a pattern to what Tina was doing, she came to anticipate how long each squeeze would last, and when the challenger would let go. Once she had that down, she could time her breaths to match, sucking in air whenever Tina released her, so that when she clamped down on her she would still have reserves. Over time, building up strength little by little, Astrid felt more and more confident she could break the hold - and eventually, as Tina let loose one more time, she reached down to wrap her fingers around her opponent's shins, gritting her teeth as she tried to leverage her strength into prying her legs apart!

As Tina was squeezing, her breathing was back under control and there was a smile on her face. To Tina, even if she botched up for the rest of the match, she could hold herself proud that she had moments of taking it to her idol and the champ. However, she wasn't going to botch on purpose, but she did notice that Astrid was struggling less in her body scissors and not in a bad way. She then noticed the champ living up to her status as she began to fight her hold. Tina grimaced as she felt Astrid's begin to power out of her hold, Astrid's arms superior to Tina's legs. At this point, the bluenette knew she couldn't maintain the hold, "Nghh, your endurance is incredible!" She said even more impressed now that she was witnessing it firsthand. As Astrid pried herself lose Tina brought her hands to Astrid's back to push against it to try to slide herself back, and try to get back up to her feet before Astrid could follow up on the attack, but in the process, she would be getting up to her feet standing up with her back pressed against the corner turnbuckles.

In clenching down on Astrid's waist, Tina had drained the Norsewoman's air supply, bringing her to the brink of passing out in her embrace. Her vision was growing blurry, and the world around her began to spin. But the more Astrid's fatigue grew and grew, so too grew her defiance. She had to resist - she wasn't going to back down from a challenge like this. If Tina wanted to test her strength, Astrid needed to prove she was capable of standing up to her. After all, she wasn't just a challenger, but a fan, too - and Astrid never wanted to sell herself short for anyone who admired her as much as her opponent did!

Gritting her teeth, and squeezing her fingers down with white-knuckle force, Astrid was finally able to pry Tina's legs apart, the sight of her wrenching her foe off of her drawing a cheer from the fans. Tina, too, broke away from Astrid, going to roll aside, and once she was free of her hold, the blonde leaned forward, taking in a few pants for air and rubbing at her temples. Her face was red from lack of breath, and sweat was trickling down her brow - but she still looked over at Tina as she let go, and when she smiled, honored to be facing her idol's strength and endurance first-hand, Astrid smiled back at her, too. There was no ill will between them - Tina was flattered to be up against Astrid, and Astrid was pleased to see how well Tina had lived up to her example!

"And your strength is worthy of praise, too!" Astrid chimed in, rolling over onto her knees to pick herself back to her feet. She dusted herself off and shook herself out, then, cracking her knuckles and tossing some hair out of her face, she looked back at Tina. A smile crossed her face when she saw the challenger's position - Tina had herself backed into the corner, which could only put her at a vulnerable position. She had nowhere to run, and Astrid was free to push the advantage! Calling out with a battle cry, Astrid pushed herself closer, drawing back an arm to swing out with a chop right across Tina's chest!

Tina flashed a grin at Astrid complimenting her strength, but then that grin changed as Astrid closed the distance on her, making sure she was trapped in the corner. She then gasped out as a loud slap echoed throughout the arena as the crowd groaned as Tina let out a pained yelp as Astrid chopped her in the chest, creating a nice jiggle for the audience to see before clutching her arms to hear breasts as she tried to walk over and away from Astrid, making her way to lean against the ropes at the middle of the ring, in between the two corners, a perfect place for an irish whip as Tina sucked in air from between gritted teeth, feeling the sting from that chop.

It seemed that Astrid's chop had hit Tina hard. The air had been knocked out of her as she stumbled away from the Norsewoman, slumping against the ropes in a desperate attempt to try and steady herself while she caught her breath. Astrid, though, wasn't about to give her that opportunity. If Tina was going to be a champion, she needed to be ready to keep up with the pressure that only the strongest of competitors could place on her, through every moment of every match. And Astrid wanted to make sure she could do that before she was ready to name herself worthy of the title! The champion looked back at Tina with a huff, keeping her hands on her hips - but then, she stormed after Tina, going to grab her by the arm to give it a forceful twist and take control over her!

"I'm sorry," Astrid chided, "but there's no place for sleeping on the job when you're a champion!" Despite her taunts, Astrid meant well - she didn't want to belittle Tina, only to put her to the test to see how well she could keep up with the demand that defending a title belt entailed, and to bring her potential to the forefront! That would certainly be the case now - Astrid stepped forward to pull Tina by the arm, going to fling her across the ring with an Irish whip! She was aiming to hit her off the ropes opposite the two of them to bounce her back in her direction - and when she returned, Astrid would scoop her up to hoist her into the air before dropping her down onto her knee for a backbreaker!

As Astrid taunted her when she got over to her, she just gave her an eyeroll and a smirk, but in a friendly manner as if enduring a best friend telling a corny joke and giving them a look of sympathy. "Yes sensei." she teased as she then felt herself get jerked into a irish whip. She twisted around at the last second to bounce off the ropes as she was propelled Astrid's way. She suddenly yelped as Astrid hooked an arm around her, forcing her feet to fling forward out from under her as she curved an arm around Astrid's middle back. She then felt herself being forward downward and suddenly felt Astrid's knee slam into her lower back as her feet planted on the ground as her lower back draped over Astrid's knee. Tina sang out in pain as her arms stretched out to her sides and downward in a limp like fashion as Tina looked at the outside of the ring from an upside down perspective as the crowd chanted holy shit from the impact as Tina's arms trembled a little bit from the impact as Tina gritted her teeth.

Astrid chuckled to herself, rolling her eyes a little at the sound of Tina's teasing. It was becoming clear that the girl didn't take herself quite as seriously as Astrid did - but the Norsewoman couldn't hold that against her; considering how she was forcing the champion to think on her feet and to put forth her best efforts in order to overcome her challenge, she had the skill to make up for it, and she had to have been training effectively where it counted to get to this point! Nevertheless, Astrid had seen an opening - and she was going to make use of it for all it was worth!

With a tug on Tina's arm, Astrid shot her clear across the ring, sending her bouncing off the ropes and coming back in her direction. Then, using the momentum with which Tina shot forward to her advantage, Astrid bent down to throw her arms around her waist, then scooped her off her feet! Despite the two being of similar size, Astrid's strength and the speed of Tina's charge was all that she needed in order to hoist the challenger over her head! As Astrid stopped for a moment to hold the position, posing for photos and cheers, a grin spread wider over her face - just before she dropped down to one knee and hurled Tina straight onto the other one with a devastating backbreaker!

The crowd winced as the sound of a crack rang out from the impact. This was, after all, a signature move of Astrid's - and it seemed to have hit the blue-haired woman hard, considering she bent over into an arc, with Astrid's knee serving as the fulcrum! Gritting her teeth, Astrid leaned down further over Tina, using one of her forearms to press down into Tina's throat while her other hand weighed down on her legs. While Tina was in position, she would press down on her a little harder, folding her spine even more!

"Now let's see how you fare against this!"
