Despite Toshiko being as stubborn as they come, and constantly fighting back Amy's attacks finally brought her to her limit. She didn't even move after the F-5 and the pin came easily, of course after everything she had to do to put her down she supposed that the pin coming easy didn't do the effort she put in justice. In the end what mattered was that when it was over Amy could lay down and relax knowing that she had won, gained an Apex finish and put down a strong opponent in the process.
She let the ref raise her arm as the crowd cheered but she was never one for celebrations unless she was beating a personal rival. She let herself get a moment of joy from the cheering crowd before she started to make her way down the ramp. This was a learning experience for her, she had never been put under pressure the way Toshiko did and those strikes were something else that she had never endured before. It showed she still had something to improve on even in victory, but she overcame her foe today so for now that was enough.
Winner: Amy Evans via pinfall
