A Match full of Heart: Kotone Shiomi Vs. Lyra Heart

Kotone was caught by surprise, she should have known that someone that has been in LAW longer than her in Lyra Heart would be quite clever. She fell to her back on the mat, caught off guard by Lyra's leg sweep. She grimaced as she hit the mat. But it was still early in the match, and Kotone knew she could turn this match around easily.

Kotone caught a glimpse of Lyra heading towards the ropes, knowing that she was probably gonna use some rope-aided offense for her next attack. Kotone was not stunned enough from a simple leg sweep this early on in the match to be caught by whatever Lyra was trying.

"NOT THIS SOON!" Kotone said as she rolled to her left away from Lyra Heart's moonsault, betting on the only thing Lyra landing on was canvas.

Lyra had ran at the ropes as fast as she possible as she could feel that this could be it. The moment where she could take home the victory as she leaped onto the ropes , and right away jumped off them as she preformed an textbook example of an springboard moonsault. However after she made the 270 degrees turn in midair she would look to see Kotone beneath her.

Almost seeming like she would not be able to move as Lyra became convinced that this could be it. As she would descend towards her fallen foe when it happened. Kotone was definitely caught by surprise when Lyra decided to leg sweep her like she did at the beginning of the match. But Kotone was not dumb and this was not her first radio. Something that takes as much time as a Springboard Moonsault was not going to work this soon into the match. So Kotone calmly moved out of the way.

Kotone got back up to her feet, not really suffering from any damage, but she could tell Lyra was taken back from missing the moonsault. To Kotone, she saw a prone opponent, ready for her next attack.

"HERE I COME!" Kotone belted out as she ran towards the downed on her back Lyra, before jumping up, her back facing Lyra, as she attempted to land a Senton, right onto Lyra's back.

Like Lyra, Kotone was extremely athletic, and wanted to show that off to her veteran opponent.

Lyra had thought to dream big , and paid the price as her moonsault would not connect and leave the pinkette to crash and burn as she took the brunt of the impact herself. This would allow Kotone to get to her feet before the Danish wrestler would manage to do the same as she would hear her opponent proclaim that ''HERE I COME'' as she would prepare herself for the worst.

Which was an good thing as just as the pinkette had managed to get to her hands and knees she would feel her opponent's back collide with her own. Kotone came coming down onto Lyra's back, her faster than average reaction time allowed her to dodge Lyra, and then hit her with the senton. For a lot of wrestlers, Kotone performing a senton would not put as much as a dent of them, but a smaller lightweight like Lyra, it was gonna hurt.

Kotone's body slid off of Lyra's back, off to her side. Kotone had a grin on her face, proud of herself for being able to pull that off. But she knew that Lyra would not stay down after that, it was way too early in the match to even think of a pin attempt.

So Kotone got up to her feet quickly, and seeing Lyra's back still prone, Kotone knew exactly what to do.

Lyra would cry out when her opponent's full weight collided with her back as Kotone hit her with an senton. Almost crushing the lightweight beneath her weight as the Danish woman hoped that the other wrestler would leave her alone for an bit. Which did seem to happen as she would feel Kotone get off her as she thought that maybe she be rolled onto her belly or something

However nothing happened , and after an while Lyra would attempt to rise up as she tried to get to her hands and knees. Which proved to be the wrong thing to do as she got pushed back down as she cried out when her opponent's feet would collide with her back as she got hit with an double foot stomp.

Kotone felt like she had all the momentum on all her side so far in this match, the senton followed by the double foot stomp must have done some massive damage to Lyra's back, as she cried when Kotone connected the stomp. Kotone looked confident as can be. this might finally be the time she gets a win.

Kotone knew what she wanted to next and since Lyra was already on her stomach, it made the next move easy to do. Kotone would walk over to Lyra till she was right over Lyra's back, then she would wrap her arms around Lyra's legs. Then it was time to pull them back and sit on Lyra's back, locking in a Boston Crab.

Lyra had taken plenty of punishment so far as it was clear to everyone that Kotone had the advantage in this match as the lightweight knew she had to turn the match around. Still at the moment it down not seem likely as her opponent would walk towards the Danish wrestler as she forced her to lay on her belly as she went to grasp her legs.

It was this that gave the wrestler an idea as she tried to pull her legs down with all her strength. Hoping the suddenly pull downwards would drag Kotone with her as she hoped to send her flying as she would then get up.

Kotone was about to lock on the Boston Crab, looking to do more damage to Lyra, really work on that stomach and back area, She managed to turn Lyra over onto her stomach, as she was about ready to apply pressure. Kotone just had a smile on her face.

But that smile would turn into a look of surprise, as Lyra suddenly pulled her legs down, causing Kotone to flip onto her back on the mat. "AAAH!" She yelped as her back crashed onto the mat.

Kotone was caught completely off guard by that, and now Lyra turned the tables and had the advantage.

Lyra would manage to break free as she pulled down her legs as she send Kotone flying as she flipped onto her back as the Danish wrestler knew she had to strike. As with both of them down on the mat she could maybe turn this around. As she would push herself backwards slightly as she attempted to place her legs on either side of her opponent's head.
