Mask De Smith vs Pink Phoenix - Flame of Destiny

"Destiny........" Mask muttered to himself as he sat in his locker room, he stared at his mask held in his hands. His brow furrowed in contemplation, this was his debut match in LAW. Facing the daring and delightful Señorita that graced him with her presence last night in the ring known as Pink Pheonix. The Smith prepared himself as best he could, hit the gym and spent an hour talking in a conference call with his fellows in the Killer 7. Dan basically said nothing other than words that were to hype up the masked man among other things. Was Mask nervous? Yes, just a bit. First match nerves in a new company made it only natural. Yet Mask was no rookie here, he knew the ropes and he carried himself well.

Mask had discarded his white suit, yet kept his purple ring cape draped over his shoulders. His attire was a pair of black leggings with "The Seven" on one leg and "Smiths" on the other topped off with laced up white boots with silver laces. A knock was heard on the door, it was time to face destiny. The Smith donned his mask and calmly exited the room and made his way to the entrance ramp.......

The lights in the arena went black, as the speakers then slowly blared out his theme song known as The Masked Man would play as the song came into focus while Mask's silhouette would be shown behind a thin fabric curtain with a white spotlight. Then eventually he'd emerge and fling his purple cape away before gold spark fireworks blasted down the ramp to herald his arrival. Calmly the luchador would stride down the ramp, high fiving the fans and bowing to one that held a sign that said "Hail to the Mask." before entering the ring by leaping over the top rope into an elegant forward roll that then had Mask standing tall as he stared up at the lights above. Place a balled fist over his heart he muttered "Gracias.....Harman Smith....."" before standing at his corner to await his fellow competitor tonight.......

The lights of the arena turned pink and fuchsia as her theme song started playing and the crowd cheered for Pink Phoenix, who appears through a curtain of smoke and stands on the top of the ramp as doing her taunt pose, with fireworks exploding behind her for few seconds until she stopped posing. Later, the pinkette luchadora walks over the ramp while giving high fives to some fans who were in the first line seats until stopping at the end of the ramp.

Later, Phoenix does a little rush and jumps towards the ring, getting inside by rolling over the middle rope and kneel in one knee as doing again her taunt pose, everything after she got inside the ring. The luchadora then gets up and stands on both feet before stepping back to her corner, where she waits for the match to begin while she takes off her t-shirt and drops it under the bottom turnbuckle.

Mask kept calm on the outside, yet inwards he was a ball of emotions. Still for the call of the ring he restrained himself as Pink Phoenix graced the ring with her presence, she kept her word. The 1 of the 7 would clap in approval of her entrance, he hadn't been acrobatic in his approach to the ring granted yet he'd make sure to show that in the ring well.....he could go. Mask would honour her and the fans with his utmost performance here.

But he'd let Phoenix have the spotlight here till she was ready to get started here, Mask would bow to her and say "Hola, Señorita. We meet tonight, its an honour to face a fellow luchador here in the land of the rising sun. Now let us begin. And may destiny favour one of us." after which the bell would ring. It was go time.

Mask wasted no time in bouncing about on his feet there in the opening of this engagement, but before long he was already bolting out the corner there as he sought to spring straight at the Phoenix and attempt to dropkick her. It wasn't subtle, a far cry from Mask's usual soft spoken nature. But the ring, his foe and the people called for him to perform.......

"The honor of having this match against another luchador is mine." Phoenix said politely to him while still standing on her corner, waiting for the bell to ring, slightly excited and anxious to do her spots.

Once the bell rang, Phoenix sees her opponent going for a dropkick, which she dodged quickly by stepping aside, then the pink haired girl goes to the ropes and goes towards him, then she grabs his hand and slaps his chest with the palm of her hand, later she climbs up to the top rope while still holding his hand, jumping from that rope to the mat, sending him to the other side of the ring with an arm drag.

Mask might have been a soft-spoken individual but when the bell rang and it was go time he could bolt out the door the same as any good luchador worth their salt, this would be the opening gunshot there. It was time to see if Phoenix could back up her attire and words, as it turned out she could. Despite Mask's attempts to try and box her into the corner, but the pinkette was slippery indeed. Mask was able to scramble back to his feet quickly enough, only to run into Phoenix's own brand of offence.

Phoenix got that slap on Mask's chest, earning a loud grunt from him. She stung nearly as hard as Kaede there and it reddened the chest of the 1 of the 7 as he winced, the sensation allowing Phoenix to then leap atop the ropes with his arm held and the ensuing leap and momentum generated by Phoenix allowed her to take the Smith for a ride right across the ring.

"Tch!" Mask grunted as he rolled from the arm drag, however he made to recover and thumbed his nose there. Nice. This Señorita could move. Mask got into a crouched posture and sized up the situation, it was time to give it another go. Mask would stand up and shift backwards to get some momentum from the ropes to get moving, only he'd not be moving right at the luchador. No he'd be moving to get into a handstand and bounce off the ropes to try and collide right into Phoenix with a springboard elbow!

Phoenix was already doing a good job with that slap on Mask's chest, and later with the arm drag. After those moves, After the successful drag, she smiled with confidence while looking at him after his recover... something not surprising for her. As she waited for Mask, she could also see how he was gaining momentum from the ropes, and at the moment of the handstand move against the opposite ropes and the jump, Phoenix got caught with the guard off as getting hit with that elbow!

She landed against the mat after the elbow and grunted softly. But few seconds later, she looks up at the lights with a grin and does a quick Kip-Up, standing in both of her feet at some meters of distance from his opponent. After that, she ducks under his arm and goes at the ropes behind him to gain momentum, just to go with a jump when getting closer to the male luchador and sit over his shoulders as her legs wrapped his neck softly, using her extra momentum to go for a pair of flying scissors to drop Mask against the mat again.

Mask was no stranger to showing his flexibility, he might have been a bit on the bigger side for a luchador but any masked performer of the ring worth a damn had to run the ropes. The Smith managed to land his flexible trick and floored the pinkette there, earning loud cheers from those in attendance as the 1 in the 7 showed his mask wasn't just for show there. Still Phoenix was fresh too in her own right and she promptly got right up in a way that would make Con Smith proud, but it made for a rougher time for Mask here.

Because the pinkette would promptly move onto the offence as she bounded off the ropes there and nimbly dashed towards the recovering Mask, oh boy she could certainly move for sure. Mask would end up taking the jump there, ideally the Smith could have tried to slam her into a powerbomb. Yet Phoenix's momentum and speed helped her carry through with her move and she'd manage to spin around with Mask and send him tumbling down to the mat there!

"Gnh!" Mask grunted out as he slumped onto the mat there, dazed and stunned for the time being. The Phoenix was clearly doing something right here by giving Mask one heck of an introduction to LAW here tonight as he got sent flying across the ring in a heap near the ropes!

After the scissors connected perfectly, Phoenix gets up and stands on both feet after Mask got tossed across the canvas as she looks at him from a corner with both arms placed in her knees, waiting for him to get up.

If everything goes as she planned, she would do a small rush towards Mask from the corner where she was, going and hoping to hit a missile dropkick aimed at his chest, with the purpose of sending him against the opposite corner.

Mask was no stranger to being thrown around, it came with the territory of the lucha. Still Phoenix there made Mask remember his first time there, heck this gal was reminding him of a lot of things. Sadly there hadn't been time to admire the Senorita's delightfully lethal frame for the 1 of the 7 because he was busy working those cobwebs that the pinkette had managed to get in his mind there.

Still Phoenix wasn't relenting on the offence here it seemed, because as Mask was rousing he could detect that the pinkette was bounding towards him. Mask despite his youth was a rather good ring general and had an inkling on what she might attempt here, she was too fast to warrant a dodge. So he drew on his brawling experience from his time scrapping with Dan and Coyote and got his arms up to block the blow. Still it sent him staggering backwards, yet he didn't crash into the corner. Gritting his teeth under the mask the Smith would try to lunge forward and leap into the air with a forward roll senton splash in the hopes of landing right on top of Phoenix and squashing her against the canvas!

Phoenix went as quick as she could towards Mask to deliver the dropkick, which connected, but ... It got blocked by him using both arms as a kind of shield. Her dropkick wasn't successful at all as she thought, thing that she realized after landing on her back.

Phoenix was laying there as going to get up but she wasn't fast enough to react after looking at Mask, who landed against her body with that senton splash, which caused the pinkette luchadora to let out a grunt and a groan of pain while clutching her stomach.
