Belly Punching Contest: Kyoko & Honie

Honie's Causal Theme

"Kyoko...Kyoko!....KYOKO!" Honie B. Bea exclaimed, as she searched all of LAW Arena's backstage area for Kyoko Akan. "Where the buzz is that girl?! KYYYYYOOOOOOKOOOOOO!"

The heavyweight bee had recently put up a message on her Twitter page, encouraging the wrestlers of LAW to show each other more love, compassion, and support. This of course was met with....mixed results. Some people were receptive to the idea, in quite the positive matter. But of course, other folks simply mocked Honie, much to the bee's dismay and anger.

But of the more negative, cynical responses, Kyoko's in particular stood out to her. Unlike the typical mean message from a heel that got her fuming, Kyoko's response made her more so, intrigued. While Honie could be naïve at times, she was also very insightful, namely when it came to people's feelings. It was clear as day to the bee that Kyoko's response came directly from negative experiences, that had hurt her significantly in the past. Honie herself had a tragic backstory, but it ended triumphantly. This left the bee with a much more positive outlook. In contrast, Kyoko still seemed pretty bitter and resentful to the face, despite the heel implying to have gotten over it.

When it came to making LAW a better place, knocking, squeezing, and smothering out jerks was indeed a part of Honie's game plan. But Ms. Bea also knew how important it was to try and understand people, and to show compassion when appropriate. And the brawny bee strived to be an active heroine. She couldn't just write a message on Twitter and leave it at that. She had to put in greater action! And if there was even a one percent chance Kyoko needed support, the Heroine of the Beehive was gonna show her some love! Regardless if whether Kyoko desired the attention or not.

After searching for the Belly Queen in the gym, cafeteria, and other backstage areas, Honie finally made it to the only locker room the bee hadn't checked yet. There wasn't a grantee that Kyoko was in said locker room, or even at LAW right now at all. But there was only one way to find out. "She better buzzing be here..." Honie grumbled and pouted to herself, puffing her cheeks out. She then approached the locker room door...

So when Honie Bee said she was going to come looking for her, she actually meant she was going to come looking for her. Kyoko thought that just meant she would confront her if she ever saw her backstage but Honie had been calling her out for what seemed like several minutes now without pause. She was determined to see as soon as possible and wouldn't take no for an answer. Kyoko first ignored it not really wanting to talk to her, but as the voice got closer and she looked over her door she saw that Honie was in the locker room. The only way she was getting past her was if she snuck past her and really that was way too much work just to avoid someone who was going to keep looking for you either way. Kyoko sighed and finally slammed her locker door and went to the front of the room where she opened the door just as Honie did.

"How has someone not kicked you out for screaming my name all around the building?" Kyoko said, dressed in her main event attire which she saved for PPV's or title matches. She wore it today because LAW wanted to get a few shots of her in action and she figured it was the best look for that, something that wrapped up a few minutes ago. Had Honie waited any longer to get here Kyoko would have already taken her stuff and left. "What exactly do you want? You can't be here just to try to figure me out can you?" Kyoko asked still flummoxed by Honie's sudden interest in her off a few tweets. She felt like she was being put under a magnifying glass, and honestly knowing what people did when they learned you're secrets she didn't like it.

Honie was consistent in her search for Kyoko, and that very persistence was finally about to about to pay off. The heroine gasped, seeing the cynical heel right in front of her, them basically opening the locker room together! "KYOKO!" Honie exclaimed. "Looks like I finally found ya!" The purple-haired middleweight then went on to imply she'd being hearing Honie call her, before asking the honey bee want exactly she wanted.

"YOU HEARD ME THIS WHOLE BUZZING TIME?!" Honie yelled, before taking a deep breath. And calming her admittly short-temper down. She understood Kyoko of course wasn't obligated to speak to her, though being ignored still annoyed the extroverted face. "You could've said something...." She pouted, puffing her cheeks up. But soon a smile beamed back on her face, her emotions changing rapidly.

"Well, no worries! Your name is very fun to say anyway! Ky-o-ko! Ky-o-ko!" Honie buzzed. "First things first. If you recall, I'm Honie B. Bea: Heroine of the Beehive! And the last thing I told you on Twitter is that I'd give you a hug! So come here!" Not actually waiting for the small chance Kyoko would 'come here', Honie quickly scooped Kyoko in a friendly embrace. Though given Honie's strength and lack of restraint, said embrace would quickly become an unintentional, borderline bearhug, as Beatrice rubbed her cheek against Kyoko's own!

Honie did not adjust her voice for being up close and Kyoko placed a hand over her ear after hearing her yell so close to her. She got even louder when she found out Kyoko had been aware she was calling for her for a bit now and said nothing but eventually calmed down from that rather quickly. "Well I was in the locker room, a place where some privacy is expected until I'm presentable since I was getting ready to head home." Kyoko said, knowing that Honie expected something more than just a visit, the two didn't know each other and Honie seemed eager to fix that...Kyoko was not. After hearing the way she was pronouncing her name she could almost hear a blood vessel pop in annoyance but kept her anger down until Honie actually went for full contact and actually hugged her...a full on hug that was nearly trying to squeeze her out.

"Huh?" Kyoko gasped when she was pulled into an all encompassing hug that made the Heroine of the Beehive's boobs and abs press against Kyoko's very aggressively. Her eyes were displaying shock both from the surprise of it all and the power, her annoyance grew but she had to admit she was placated somewhat feeling Honie's core mash against her own and find steel meeting steel of a sort. Her mind started to drift into wonder on how much she could take before she washed the thought down, she wasn't here to test Honie's abs, right now she wanted to get away from Honie. "Y-You know you should really be careful who you hug...I've given some nasty hugs myself and the girls usually end up needing a long nap after that..." Kyoko said trying to sound threatening but the way her voice squeaked a few times due to the pressure made it sound anything but intimidating.

Honie was pretty touchy when she wanted to show affection, even when it came to people she barely knew! So she was quick to embrace Kyoko in a one-sided hug, which made their bodies press firmly against each other. Kyoko's little threat mostly went over Honie's head for a number of reasons. The first was simple naivety. The second was that Kyoko couldn't sound intimidating, with Beatrice squeezing the air out of her! The third was that, while not arrogant, Honie pretty confident in her ability to out-hug most people. So that implication that Kyoko was threatening to squeeze the bee out didn't even register. "Buzz? Why would I be careful about showing affection?" Honie teased, squeezing even tighter. "But I think it's great you know how to bearhug! But why not try enjoying this normal hug instead?"

Finally, Honie would release the heel from what she considered a "normal hug", and gently put Kyoko back on her feet. "Now, regarding whatever your past is. If you say you're over it, that's great! Believe it or not, I know what it's like to have a past of adversity and tribulation. But I also consider myself an overcomer, rather than a victim!" Honie explained, putting hands on her wide hips. "But that doesn't mean you can't use a bit more positive energy, especially since you seem like a 'glass half empty' kind of girl. You think my Twitter post regarding love, compassion, and support was a bunch of bullbuzz, but I've arrived to show just that!" The chatterbox bee then pressed her hand on the closest locker, now leaning against it. "Soooooooo, how's your day going?" She chirped.

None of her threats came out the way she wanted them too, not in anyway that would make Honie back off or be worried. She brushed off Kyoko's statement without a care in the world, and kept talking with her as if they were friends catching up once the hug had ended. All stuff that Kyoko did not enjoy from someone who was still a stranger to her. "I am positive, positive in myself, my team and my ability to make any goal I set myself on will succeed because I can do it. Those are things to be positive about, things that will have some actual meaning to a wrestler." Kyoko said, while she wasn't the nicest person around and knew that she didn't like the idea that she was a grouch either just because she wasn't showing everyone in the world love and affection. It was obvious Honie wouldn't simply leave just off that, or think things were fine and since she was indirectly blocking the way she would have to talk to her longer.

"I was headed home, only reason I came here to day was for a big photo and workout shoot to show off this." Kyoko said motioning towards the gear she was wearing, a stand out and improvement from her previous outfit and one she planned to use a lot more in the coming days here at LAW. "Which was finished about an hour ago, no reason to stay here today beyond that." Kyoko said. Seeing as how she didn't change and her body was still slightly sweaty it was obvious that she hadn't taken the time to use the locker room showers or stay in it very long once she was done.

After Honie finally put Kyoko down, the Belly Queen did explain what she was positive about. However, it was in a very plain, serious and stoic matter. Nonetheless, Kyoko's tone and demeanor wouldn't do anything to suppress Honie's spunkiness and excitement. "That's buzzing great!" The heavyweight responded. "Confidence in yourself! Confidence in your team! And your ability to accomplish anything ya set your mind to!" Though she caught it this time, Honie decided to ignore Kyoko's implication that other things the bee suggested weren't worth being positive about. Honie knew it would take more time to potentially get Kyoko to be a bit more lighthearted with her. And after agreeing with everything besides said implication, Honie would finally ease up a tad, and take things a wee bit more slowly.

"I trust your photo/workout shoot went well, and your wrestling gear looks awesome!" Honie replied. "I love the color scheme, and it shows off your rocking ab muscles quite well"! Beatrice knew a thing or two about abs, as she also had one among the best six packs in this company. "Hey now." The bee buzzed, before flicking her own steely core. This created and audible 'dink' sound. "We both have awesome abs. That's something we have in common! Now that I think of it, don't you go by the Belly Queen on Twitter? What's that all about? Buzz?" Honie's approach was to get Kyoko to talk about herself. Not something more sensitive, like her backstory. But something Kyoko was likely more open about and certainly proud of, her title as the Belly Queen!

It seemed the girl was determined to put a 'buzzing' spin on anything said, though honestly she was still correct that having confidence in herself and her teammates was still important. Honie settled in clearly ready to sit here and wait for Kyoko to start opening up to her more before she would let her leave since she seemed aware of what Kyoko implied but still didn't budge when asking about her photoshoot. Kyoko was willing to ignore that and move past her but then she mentioned her attire and her abs. Then she tapped her own bringing up how she had impressive abs which she was happy to show off. Kyoko had already noticed them when she hugged her but that became more obvious now that she was showing them off.

"It's not just a name on Twitter." Kyoko said when Honie brought up her nickname which she was happy to talk about at any time. "It's been my nickname for most of the years I've been wrestling. All but the first 2 before fans started calling me that, all because they know I hit abs the hardest and can take the hardest hits to my own. The Queen part comes from my hair color, purple is a known color of royalty in the past which I added to my clothes as well." Kyoko said, bringing the focus on the outfit she knew Honie liked already.

Honie needed to catch Kyoko's attention, as she was already sensing that the heel may walk off soon. Kyoko had said she was planning to go home. So if she did walk off, Honie wouldn't be able to follow her without it coming across as harassment, though the urge would be strong. No. The heroine just needed to find something Kyoko was willing to talk about, and she did just that. The Belly Queen seemed cool with talking about her abs and wrestler title!

"Ooooh! That's a cool fact about purple being the color of royalty. Your whole explanation was pretty clever!" Honie complimented. "Hmmmm. So you can hit abs the hardest, and take the hardest hits to your own, you say?" As Honie continued, she flexed both an impressive bicep and her rock-hard abs. She then brought her raised fist firmly to her palm. "I challenge you to a belly punching contest then! It should help further train the resilience of my own honeycomb abs!"

That's what Honie said. But in her mind, earning Kyoko's respect and spending more time with her was the primary motivation. "Don't tell me you're too busy to prove your title as LAW's Belly Queen." Honie teased, sticking her tongue out, before continuing to egg Kyoko on. "Queen is such a common moniker." She continued. It was part of the reason the heroine didn't call herself a 'queen bee'. "But with you, does it actually have meaning to it? Are you truly the best of the best?"

The conversation had already gone on longer than she wanted, but at least it was on something she felt comfortable talking about. At first she assumed Honie wanted to talk about stuff she mentioned in her tweets which was not an open book subject at all. But on abs, she could talk about with anyone willing to listen, a number that proved to be pretty high. "Yes, and have been for almost a decade now. I don't intend to be outdone until I retire." Kyoko said proudly before Honie surprised her with her challenge. A belly punching contest was nothing new for her, she had done it in the ring, backstage, in a gym and once she met Fallon she did it pretty much anywhere. Honie's challenge was impromptu and surprising but she found herself unable to say no both because of her love of these things and the fact that Honie seemed to be trying to do everything to make her seem like a chicken if she didn't accept.

"Queen's only a common moniker because so many people call themselves that trying to emulate me! I don't need to prove myself to those knock offs. I am the best of the best, and unfortunately for your honeycomb abs I have plenty of time to buzz you up." Kyoko said, stepping towards one of the halls of the locker room to give them plenty of space. "We can do 1 or 5 punches each, but we go until one of us drops to a knee. All depends on what's your speed since I can handle anything." Kyoko said, dictating the terms a little but giving Honie some measure of choice as a sing of confidence on her part about how well she could handle it.
