Standard match rules apply, except pinfalls only count if they're preceded by an attack to the opponent's stomach, while submissions only count if the hold is applied to the opponent's stomach.
'Belly' matches weren't exactly something Allie's parents showed her. Their infamy was a very recent trend, caused primarily by the ventures of self-proclaimed Belly Queen, Kyoko Akan. Or at least, it was initially a self-proclaimed title, but ever since the introduction of the Belly Championship, it was a prize valiantly fought for in LAW. Da Xia eventually took the title from Kyoko in one of LAW's more legendary matches, but that rivalry between her and Kyoko continued to this day, and the two inspired more competitors to come up and wrestle in these stomach-based matches.
Allie studied them as they became popular, figuring that if they grew in popularity and expanded to other promotions, she might as well know about them, except she didn't think she'd ever partake in one so soon, especially in the company where they were popularized. And not against one of Kyoko's own disciples, Tara Jaeger. The self-proclaimed Belly Stretcher, she was a woman who actually made Kyoko pass out due to her vicious attacks to the gut, but a rematch led to the two allying together. Allyship in LAW was something Allie didn't see herself doing, not out of dislike for anyone, but rather just knowing that she couldn't afford to look out for another, when she had to always watch her own back and make money for herself. Especially not someone who commanded her to submit, like some lap dog.
Still, agreeing or not, this was a big first match for Allie. Kyoko was one of LAW's more recognizable faces, and a teammate of hers would likely secure a big bag if she could win over her. And, really, how much different could a Belly Match be over a standard one? Just attack the stomach.
Music hitting, the Samoan sucked in air, before bursting out behind the curtain. Instantly, her anxiety and hardships were out of mind, and she was in her element. Never on such a grand stage, you wouldn't recognize it from the pure energy Allie was putting out. A big smile, arms waving to pump up the crowd, and soon slapping hands with fans as she made her way down the ramp. Trepidation left itself behind in gorilla, as the third generation star lived and breathed wrestling, and when she was in the zone, nothing else mattered other than the ring and the victory.
Leaping up onto the apron, Allie gripped the top rope and shot herself forward, doing a full front-flip and landing perfectly on her feet, before pumping her fist and getting to her corner. Never had she this many people watching her before, but that didn't matter. She spent her whole young life expecting to be in this situation eventually, and while the past year or so had humbled her some, she knew she couldn't let this go to waste. She couldn't afford to.
