Danielle Degardin [D] vs. Noble Rose

Danielle had made a mistake in letting her guard down. Consumed by her arrogance, she was so sure that she had Rose helpless and cowering beneath her that she hadn't accounted for her opponent springing back into the fray - but that was exactly what she had done, leaping forward with a strike that sent the redhead stumbling forward in a daze! Now, Danielle was open - and Rose was quick to capitalize on that!

With her head bent low, gasping for air and clutching her stomach, Dani was at the perfect angle for Rose to grab a hold of her head, and although she groaned in frustration, trying to push and pull at the encircling arm, she was unable to stop Rose from dropping backward, bringing her head down into the mat with a DDT. A gasp of pain left Danielle as her body twitched and shook from the impact before she fell limp and groaning to the mat - but the pain would soon be awakened in her when Rose got on her back, grabbing for her legs to twist them back in an arc!

Now under the pressure of the Boston Crab, Danielle lifted her head and let out a scream. Her back was buckling against the pressure, and her legs were being stretched to their limit. It was hard to think straight through it all, between the pain, the cheering fans, and above all the unbearable shame of being humbled like this - but one thing Danielle knew was that she could not be defeated in her debut!

Biting her lip to try and distract herself from the pain, she began to writhe back and forth against the mat, wriggling her way toward the ropes. Even as she cried out with each inch she moved, she still clawed at the mat, desperate to save herself!

Noble Rose pulls back on the hold. “Your arrogance is your weakness and weakness is the stain of evil.” She said as she bent back trying to make the Frenchwoman submit.

Danielle couldn't take this any more. She was the picture of perfection! Everything she did was supposed to be so easy! And yet, here she was, her opponent pushing her around like it meant nothing to her! But what was even worse was having to hear Noble Rose taunt her through everything, casting such detestable accusations on her good name and character. That she was arrogant, that she was evil...perish the thought! That was the most horrendous slander the redhead could think of, and she was desperate more than ever to get to the ropes. Not only to save herself from this torment, but to turn things around and prove her opponent wrong.

The only problem with that was, Danielle was having a hard time doing so. The match had gone on for some time now, and her stamina was starting to dwindle from how many times she'd been at her foe's mercy, and for how hard she had tried to fight back to put her in her place, all to no avail. Her face was growing red with the fatigue, her body dripping with sweat. She tried to claw her way closer to the ropes, but she could barely make any progress; she crawled a few short inches before Rose pulled back harder at her leg, and with a pained wail she dropped face-first against the canvas. With each moment she passed in the Boston Crab, her legs were being pulled further and further, until they were growing numb. Her body was reaching its breaking point, and if Danielle didn't get to the ropes, she stood no chance of winning this match. Even if she did, her chances weren't great - not that she'd admit that, of course. But it was looking less and less likely that she could make it there in time before her body gave out.

But then...Danielle got an idea. And, even through the pain wracking her body, a wicked smirk came to her face as she realized how she could take advantage of this. When she looked up, she saw that the referee was looking away. If Rose thought she had submitted, but the ref didn't...then she'd have no choice but to let her go! Someone who held herself as such a shining ideal hero could only dutifully play by the rules! And yet, if the referee didn't count it, it didn't happen!

Dani almost had to keep herself from giggling with glee, but she knew that would give away her plan. Fortunately, the pain shooting through her back as Rose gave another tug did the job of bringing her back down to earth. Moving as quickly as she could while the ref's head was turned, Dani tapped her hand against the mat, hoping Rose would see it before the official did!

Nobel Rose heard Danielle tap out and let go. She went to notify the ref of the submission. But to the ref Noble Rose just let the hold go and this match was still going.

Just as Danielle had hoped, everything was working out perfectly. Rose had seen Danielle tap, and she obediently released the hold. The redhead rolled over to the side, and she winced and rubbed at her thigh, remembering the pain that her opponent had put her through. But when she saw that Rose had turned to alert the referee to what had happened, Danielle knew she only had precious seconds to act. She needed to make her move now, lest everything be given away - and her pain would mean nothing if she couldn't pull this off! That gave her the extra motivation, and she quickly sprung back to her feet, closing in on Rose from behind and reaching out to grab her with a sleeperhold!

As she pulled her opponent up against her chest, tightening her arm around her throat, Dani flashed a wicked grin, leaning in closer to whisper into Rose's ear. "Just so you know...our striped-shirted friend saw nothing." Then, while the ref's back was still turned, the Frenchwoman lashed out with her fingers curled inward to rake her nails across Rose's eyes one more time! The official wouldn't see anything, and surely such a painful move would take Rose out of action, giving Danielle the opportunity she needed to strike!

If her plan worked, while Rose was reeling in pain, Danielle would reach down, grabbing for her legs and rolling backward to bring her shoulders to the mat for a rollup pin. By that point, the referee would finally turn around - only to see that Danielle had Rose's shoulders against the mat. And without questioning anything, he dropped down to begin the count - all while Danielle watched with glee!

Rose tried to tell the ref but got caught in a sleeper if that wasn’t enough then she felt nails rake her across her eye. While she was holding her eye she got rolled up. Everything happened so fast she barely had time to react.

Danielle could hardly hold herself back now. She was welling up with sadistic glee, knowing she was on the verge of the perfect climax to her first outing in LAW - one that would only end, naturally, with her emerging victorious, and depriving her fool of an opponent from claiming the glory herself! It had been a long and hard-fought battle, with the ex-model finding herself pushed around at seemingly every turn. But now, she was finally ready to bring things home. And when it was all so simple, so effortless, about how she had won, it was the icing on the cake!

"THREE!!"

The bell rang. The match was over. At the last minute, when all hope seemed lost, Danielle had overcome Noble Rose! As soon as she heard the call, she sprung to her feet with a grin on her face. If there was anything to prove to Danielle that she had found her place in the world of wrestling, this was it. She had won, and left her opponent helpless beneath her! It left her heart pounding with a rush she hadn't felt in some time - but it was a rush she didn't realize how much she craved until she felt it take hold just now. There was no question about it; Danielle was going to stick with this.

"Yes! YES!" Spreading her arms wide, Dani took a few steps closer toward the ropes, ready to face the adoration she knew she had earned! The pain her back was in didn't even seem to stop her; the aches were far from her thoughts. She was ready to be heralded as a winner deserved!

But it was to her surprise that, instead, the redhead was greeted by nigh-unanimous boos! She had seemed like a joke from the very beginning - nothing more than some snobbish model who could barely hold up in the ring. She showed her opponent nothing but scorn, despite Rose outmatching her in every way. And yet, through trickery and a fair amount of luck, she had won, against an opponent who was, despite all her posturing, both more capable and more dignified than she could ever hope to be.

To Danielle, of course, this was an outrage! They just had to spoil what was supposed to be her glorious moment! Her teeth clenched in a scowl, her hands balled into fists, and she stomped a foot against the mat. "STOP THAT, you uncultured baboons!!" she shouted, waving a fist in the air. "Who are you to appoint yourselves the arbitrators of good taste!?"

Noble rose held her face from the rake to the eyes. She lost to this upstart. But hearing the boos made her smile. She was the people’s winner and she knew this. She stood up. “I might’ve lost but the crowd saw what you did, your a dirty cheater and an arrogant bitch. I’m nothing like that. I will be their hero I am the daughter of Kamikaze Rose and I will uphold her legacy until the day I die.” She said to the cheering of the crowd. “Noble Rose! Noble Rose!” They chanted. Much to Danielle’s anger and annoyance.

For a moment, Danielle thought she had won. She thought that she had finally turned this travesty of a match around with her victory, proving to anyone watching who the real champion of good taste and decency was and who truly deserved the honor and respect. She got up from her opponent with a smug grin on her face - but her satisfaction was short-lived. The fans weren't lost on the deceitful tactics she had utilized to get her win, and their boos told the redhead just what they thought of them! At once, her brow furrowed into a glare, and she stomped a foot against the mat in frustration, her fist balling tighter at the side. And as if things couldn't get any worse already, Noble Rose decided to use this moment as a soapbox, turning to the crowd to badmouth Danielle and talk herself up! And the fans were cheering her for it, at that!

Danielle couldn't stand this. She seethed with rage, snorting a gout of hot air from her nostrils as her teeth ground together in a grimace. She had won this match, not Rose! She had no grounds to act like she was her better, and if the fans were taking her side in this...well, Danielle simply couldn't let such a grievous wrong go unrighted!

"LISTEN TO ME, YOU DISGUSTING BOORS!!" Danielle screamed, causing the cheers of the crowd to go quiet for just a second. "I don't know if you didn't notice, but I won this match! If you still want to lavish her with your praise, for not even measuring up to me, you've told me enough of what good this does. My efforts are wasted on all of you!"

Then, her eyes turned to face Rose, and her grimace tightened. She had done all of this - it was her fault! Just looking at her made something tighten in the pit of her stomach as she welled up with an anger that caused her fists to tremble, waiting to taste their target. Storming closer, Dani leaned closer to Rose to unleash a slap clean across her cheek!

Nobel Rose saw her pissed and wind up her hand for a slap. Rose caught it and well she wasn’t gonna let Danielle walk out without some lumps. So she decided to slap the taste out of the arrogant model’s mouth.
