Coming through on a promise: Oscar Orelash and April Starling

He'd let out a pleased laugh as he slowly increased the pressure on April's legs and Torso, giving his newly named move a full try on his instructor and friend!

"You hanging in there, April? Sounds like it's working pretty well on you there"

April's moans became more breathy as Oscar's legs were constricting the air from her. "Nhhh, oh it is super effective darling, thanks for asking." She mentioned as she pawed at the mat, trying to pull herself towards the ropes but Oscar pretty much has her locked in place with his bulky frame and his body pretty much on top of her. "Nnhhh, the only way I can get out of this is with a rope break, but..hnnhh, I can't get close to the ropes." she mentioned as she tried to endure it for a little longer before she started patting on the mat. "Nhhh ok dear, I give."

Oscar would immediately let go of April as she patted the canvas, freeing her legs and unwrapping his legs from her torso as he sat upright and scooted over to her.

"Maybe it's time for a break, yeah? Sounds like you need a second"

He'd look down at April with a smile as he got to a knee and offered her his hand so he could get back to his feet, helping her up with him if she accepted the offer.

"Got some Gatorade packed in my bag to help with the electrolytes too if you'd like so. Got a preferred flavor?"

April rose up to her hands and knees, panting a little before seeing Oscar's offered hand, she looked up at him with a smile as she took it, using his help to rise to her feet. "Oh, um, thank you dear. I will take whatever you offer me." She mentioned as she walked out of the ring and walked back over to her cigarette holder, picking it back up and tapping some ash in the ash tray as she took a drag and exhale from it before she walked over to Oscar once he got near his bag "So how did you like that move? Do you expect to apply it in the future?" She asked as she leaned against the nearby wall, propping one foot up behind her as she smiled at Oscar.

Oscar would head out of the ring to grab his bag, rummaging around and pulling out two bottles of orange-flavored Gatorade. He'd then walk over to April and would offer one of the bottles to her.

"It's an effective move if the only way to get out is by rope break. I certainly plan to apply it in the future whenever I can manage to"

He'd pop the cap off of his drink and would take a big gulp of it, wiping some sweat from his brown afterward.

"You, Tina, and Katrina are turning me into quite the submission user you know. Hehe. Fits pretty well into the strategy I'm building on for my future matches"

"Thank you fine gentleman." She mentioned with a smile as she accepted his orange Gatorade, twisting open the cap while still holding onto her cigarette holder as she took a few needy sips. She then smirked at the mention of her and her friends turning him into a submission machine. "I would dare say it's not us turning you into this as much as it is just part of your personality." She mentioned as she took a drag from her lengthy cigarette holder before pulling it from her lips to exhale the smoke as she smirked at him. "Think about it. You don't seem to be the sort that gets sadistic pleasure at striking or slamming your female opponents around. So one of the only options left is to be the kind that restrains with the amount of pressure needed to secure a victory, wouldn't you say?" She asked as she brought her holder up to her lips again for a slow drag.

"Hmm..."

Oscar hummed as he sipped more of his drink, giving April's words some thought before speaking.

"I... guess that makes sense. I use my strikes and slams to tire out my opponents in order to set up for the submissions, not for the sadistic glee of it. Plus the crowd likes to see displays of strength"

He nodded his head as April wound up helping him understand a bit more about himself.

"I didn't think that had anything to do with reflecting personality... huh. Thanks for the insight"

He smiled at April as he relaxed against the wall with her- keeping personal space in mind of course.

April pulled the holder from her lips as she smirked and exhaled the smoke into the air before giving Oscar a wink. "My pleasure darling." She then took a few more sips of the gatorade before pulling it from her lips and letting out a audible pleased sound. "That is really hitting the
spot." she mentioned as she then looked back over at Oscar. "So let's chat, shall we? How have things been with you? How have you been progressing? How's your relationship been going with the Kelley sisters?" She mentioned, one of April's traits is she's a woman that's curiosity tends to get the better of her, and it's starting to flow right now.

"Hoo boy that's a lot to answer"

Oscar chuckled as he listened to April's little barrage of questions. He seemed happy to answer though.

"Well, I've been pretty happy with how things have been going. Got a great record in LAW at the moment, been feeling good about how I'm progressing, and as for the Kellys? It's been amazing with them"

Oscar beamed as he started talking about the two blue-haired sisters.

"Tina gave me my first loss, sure, but she's easily got to be one of the best friends I've had in like- EVER. I sort of see her like... like a mentor, you know? She's great at inspiring people and I want to follow in her footsteps like that. I haven't actually seen her in a while due to my schedule with the lions but I try to watch her matches when I can. As for Katrina? Well..."

Oscar's face blushed faintly as a bigger smile appeared on his face

"Katrina's easily one of the best things to have ever happened to me. She's so kind and sweet and funny I just... she makes me feel like a happy, toasty marshmallow when I'm around her and she always makes me laugh when she does her little antics. Recently she won a match against her first giant too- some crazy lady who claims to know me and has some kind of beef against my career. She went so far as to threaten to give me a career-ending injury to 'wake me up from dreamland' as she called it"

Oscar's smile faltered for a moment at the memory of the intense threat before it bloomed again.

"Katrina managed to turn things around though! I... admit, it was a bit scary since I've never seen her get that angry before but at the same time it felt... flattering. I've never had someone fight or stand up for me like that before. I was so proud of her that night... you bet I got her some ice cream afterwards"

"Oh my, that sounds like a lot of happy things going on for you. Well except the person that wants to ruin your career. That sounds pretty personal, are you sure you don't know who she is, because that sounds like someone a little that knows you a little too personally, like it doesn't sound like just some random person on the street?" She mentioned as she tapped on her cigarette holder as she then smiled at him, "But hey, if your girlfriend beat him, and you defeated Katrina in a match, then surely this person would be no match for you, correct?" she asked as she finished her Gatorade and brought it to the nearest recycle bin that was close enough without ruining their conversation.
