Oscar would keep a closed smile on his face as he drove out of the city on something he managed to score a sweet deal on: A used car!
Oscar used to have to shell out yen on Uber drivers to get around the city or walk everywhere and while he did enjoy the exercise, it did get tiring. Especially when he had to bring groceries back. Lucky for him, he found an ad for a minivan made to accommodate the previous owner and his tall size... along with his favorite hobby of offroading. While Oscar wasn't an off-roader himself, it was fortunate for him to find a car that could fit someone of his height while still being comfortable. The only other reason he scored such a ride was that the owner had grown too old for it and wanted the space in his driveway back, which Oscar was happy to do after parting with a chunk of yen.
It was especially fortunate that he was able to get this car in time as he had planned to follow up on a promise for training that he forgot about, as embarrassed as he was to admit it. He wasn't one to break a promise after all, especially to a friend of Tina's. April was also kind enough to grant him access to her private training facility outside of the city after his win over her, so he felt it was extra important to show his appreciation for this- and it'd start by coming through on his promise. Soon enough, the gates to April's estate would come into view as Oscar parked his van and got on out. He'd look around to see if April was waiting for him- or at least check his phone to see if she sent him a message while he was driving.
