Oscar would grit his teeth as he tried to keep the hold locked it. It was not often he fought against someone in the same weight division as him, so it's entirely possible for Patty to escape the newbie's clutches with enough effort. It didn't mean he'd keep trying to crank down harder on the hold in the process though.

Patty was getting more frustrated with the proficiency of the hold and decided to stop holding back with Oscar, beginning to acknowledge the youngster's skill. Pushing herself up onto her knees, she took a few deep breaths before attempting to get back onto her feet, with Oscar still hanging onto her back.

Pushing herself backwards, Patty would look to run backwards into the nearest corner post, her goal being to slam Oscar's back into the turnbuckle and buck him off of her, though this might take two or even three rams to shake the young rookie, as she was finding him to have more endurance than she had given him credit.

Oscar would cry out in pain as Patty slammed him into the ring post!

"AHH!! UGH!! OOF!!"

After the third slam, Oscar let go of the hold and leaned up against the post, and held onto the ropes for support. He looked stunned for the moment as he tried to get some air back into his lungs.

"Looks like you got a few tricks after all, lad, but let's see if you can make it count in the long run!" Patty gave Oscar a few shoulder tackles in the corner, but didn't keep him trapped for long as she whipped him towards the ropes. When he bounced off them, she would wait until he was getting close before lifting her boot up to level him to the canvas with a big boot!

If this managed to down him, Patty would take a couple steps back before smacking her elbow. "TIMBER" She would get a bit of a running start before beginning to fall to the side and land a hard elbow drop to Oscar's chest! Normally after this she would go for a pin, but since this was just a spar, she would only roll off the redhead and see if he still had what it took to make it back to his feet.

Oscar would grunt as Patty rammed him with her shoulder, pushing the air out of him before getting whipped towards the ropes. There was little he could do in his state as he'd be served the woman's boot and be left out on the canvas. He'd close his eyes and wince in pain before opening them at Patty's words, letting out another cry as she elbow dropped him right in his chest!

"AAHH!!"

Oscar would roll onto his front as Patty got off of him, breathing heavily as he tried to get some air into his lunge. Working through the pair, the young lion would slowly return to his feet and stare Patty down. He wouldn't say anything as he would raise his arms, still huffing and puffing as he tried to show he still had fuel in his tank.

"Well look who can still take it! Not bad kid, but you've still got a long ways before reaching my level! But since this is supposed to be a learning opportunity for ya, how about we see what you can do yerself! Come on, I'll give ya a freebie, give me a shot and let's see what ya can do when given the chance! Come on now!"

Patty seemed to be giving Oscar a chance to swing at her, but what the Young Lion didn't know was Patty was a wild card and was prone to chaos, so he had to be careful in how he approached this chance given to him, because he had no idea what was waiting for him once he took his shot at her. Only time would tell that.

Oscar would roll his neck as he squinted at Patty with determined eyes as her taunt fired him up.

"You got it"

He'd start to run towards Patty as he balled up his fist- looking to surprise her with a right hook to her face! Whether or not his unawareness of Patty's chaos will bite him in the ass for this will be determined soon enough...

With Oscar swinging for the fence with that hook, a normal minded folk would likely duck or otherwise dodge, but Patty wasn't the kind to shy away from a challenge. She let the blow connect, her neck swinging to the side with a low groan. But rather than be angry or hurt, she started to chuckle! She had just gotten punched in the face and she was laughing!

"Well that was a damn good one! 9 out of 10 for sure! Been a while since I had someone that could swing like that, lad! But here is yer next lesson. When you punch someone, you better be damn sure they are going down! Because otherwise they can fight back!" Grabbing at Oscar's wrist, Patty would whip him towards the corner, following close behind as she looked to hit him with a big avalance splash in the corner!

Oscar looked VERY shocked to see Patty handle the blow like that before he was whipped into the corner. As he saw Patty flying at him for a splash though. He'd grit his teeth and push himself out of the corner, looking to intercept Patty's splash attempt by catching her and wrapping his arms around the woman. If everything worked as he planned it, Oscar would squeeze down on Patty in a brutal bearhug with the Irish woman slowly being lowered out of the air. She was too heavy to hold up into the air, but her feet would just be barely dangle off of the canvas.

Patty's eyes widened as Oscar managed to push himself out of the path of Patty's splash just in time, causing her to land chest first against the empty turnbuckles! Grunting in frustration, the Irishwoman turned and started to stumble a bit, walking herself right into the arms of the young lion as Oscar wrapped his arms around her form and began to squeeze with everything he had!

Patty grit her teeth as she tried to thrash and struggle in the hold, but it was clear that Oscar had trained intensely in perfecting his bearhug and the Irishwoman was beginning to feel the effects. Not only that, but she could feel her feet begin to leave the canvas as Oscar had managed to hoist her up in the air and keep her there! It was only a couple inches, but he was doing it! "Anhh! No...no way!"
