When Lunar set the bowl of miso soup on the table in front of her, Blair reached for the spoon to take a sip. As she did, she let out a sigh, and the rigid stance of her shoulders began to slacken somewhat. The warmth of the soup settled into her body as it ran down her throat, and as soon as she had started eating, she felt a rumbling in her stomach that reminded her of how she hadn't eaten anything since she'd woken up. With everything new and unfamiliar that was going on around her, Blair had forgotten how hungry she was. But in this moment, the miso would do - and as soon as she'd swallowed it, she felt a little better, almost enough for her to smile just a little. She'd needed that.
She stirred at her soup as she raised her head, looking back up at Lunar. And, when her thoughts turned back toward the conversation she'd had, it was enough to make her let out a long, low sigh. "It's...it's nothing, really." Blair turned her attention back to the bowl, watching her murky reflection as she stirred the bowl slowly and caused her image to break apart, then come back together. "Nothing I haven't told myself so many times before, anyway..."
What also gave Blair a pause was hearing how Lunar had picked up on how nervous she was around her. Was she that obvious? Blair's stoic disposition and sharp focus had always played to her advantage in martial arts, but it was her inability to keep her cool that had cost her in her previous match - and everyone here knew it. Was she still doing that? Granted, she was across from someone she had led to believe was some powerful, influential crime lord...but she at least hoped she wouldn't be too obvious. She was supposed to be better than that. Maybe, if she couldn't keep it together, she really was a failure...
"...Listen. Whatever it is...I appreciate it. I'll be fine," Blair said, nevertheless biting a little at her lip as she thought her previous setbacks. "But this is...very generous of you. Who's your uncle, anyway? You've mentioned him before; you said he's not around?" Maybe it was changing the subject, but she didn't want to dwell any longer. At the very least, maybe she could find out a little bit more about what she had gotten herself into.

Re: Shelter (for Terini)
As soon as Blair began to sip her miso soup, Lunar would have go back to the kicthen to grab the rest of the dish that she recently made this morning, as she would have return to where Blair was to put down the hainan chicken rice in front of her and some sashimi for her to eat. Lunar would have sit down in front of her and begin to eat a onigiri for her own meal
"...i envy you" Rie said under her breath very quietly, she envy that Blair love something so much that she able to sad about what she preasume to be her weakness...even if the look on her face would indicate that she 'suffering' because of this...she still felt envy because of that too...at least feeling like you failed at something is normal...the only thing that is abnormal is when you never failed at anything.
Rie would have rise an eyebrow when Blair suddenly ask her about her uncle...that come out of knowhere...did Blair want to meet her uncle to thank him or something? Why did she suddenly ask?...where is not like she will lose anything if she answer "why the suddenly curiosity?" She ask softly as she let out a sigh "well whatever your reason is it doesn't really matter,...well if you actually pay attention then you will probably figure out that my uncle is a doctor...more specfically he is one of the doctor in LAW. It is a surprise for me when i found out by him calling out my real name outloud, that moron...the only reason why i am the one who suffer with hours on end lecture is because we the only one there" she said softly as she finish up her onigiri as she would have let out a sigh, not noticing she let something slip out, something that she don't want anyone to actually know "he shouldn't have any reason mad to be in the first place, afterall i did him a favor by getting rid of myself from their life, so i don't get it at all" she mumble under her breath very quietly not intended for anyone to actually hear

Re: Shelter (for Terini)
Soon enough, Lunar placed the rest of the meal she was preparing in front of Blair. At first, the Muay Thai fighter didn't know how to react. Her eyes went wide, and her gaze wandered over all the foods on the plate before her. She certainly wasn't expecting her former opponent from going to such lengths in making all of this - and for her? It felt...special, almost. Enough to make her wonder what else was going through Lunar's mind - and that thought was enough to make her blush. "You made...all of this..?"
But Blair wouldn't be able to sit there pondering the situation for long - soon, her stomach began to rumble, reminding her of how hungry she was. Without another choice, she set to work eating - and, as she did, a smile began to grow across her face. "Whoah, this is..." she began, only to stop and clear her throat, reminding herself to be more formal around someone who, evidently, had as much reach and influence as Lunar did. "I mean, it's all very good. Thank you..."
As Blair ate, she listened to Lunar go on about her uncle. "Ah...sorry, should I not?" She bit her lip, sinking back a little in her seat when she realized she was probably asking too many questions. Regardless, Lunar went on. "So, he was working for LAW before you were? Interesting..."
The gears in Blair's mind began to turn, pondering what circumstances might have led to such a situation. Of course, given how she was already questioning Lunar too much - not to mention how she evidently had connections to some unsavory types - Blair started to wonder if she was better off not asking. All the same, Lunar was only leaving her with more questions. She was chewing at a bit of sashimi when the girl mumbled something to herself, mentioning ridding herself from her family's life, and the curiosity it spurred in Blair was enough to get her to slow down, looking toward Lunar with a raised eyebrow. There was far more going on here than Blair could understand - it was all too clear that things went back far longer with Lunar and her family than she could ever have anticipated, and from the sounds of it they hadn't been good. All the missing pieces left her wondering how they all fit together. But she bit at the inside of her cheek, reminding herself to stay quiet. It wouldn't serve her any good to pry.

Re: Shelter (for Terini)
Lunar would have let out a sigh when she presented the food in front of Blair "yeah sorry about that, you are a last minute addition since uncle tell me in the very last minute so i don't have time to prepare...so i kinda rush it and just cook with whatever i had" Lunar said softly as even though what she made for Blair is amazing...for Lunar...the only thing that she thought off is that it is not perfect so it is must be terrible and has zero worth...but her...patient? Guest? Is already here and she probably hungry so this is a desperate time "complain freely if you must" Lunar grumble softly expecting for Blair to disike the 'rush' food she made
However Blair have the opposite reaction than what she actually expected...she enjoy eating something she 'rush' to make with a smile and said that was good...Lunar would have let out a sigh as she would have quickly look away from Blair not wanting to see her face at the moment...for personal reason, tho if Blair pay attention she could see the blush on Lunar face
After awhile of silence, Lunar would have return to look at Blair once more as her expresion return to her usual deadpan look "idk how long he actually work at LAW but he said he been working there for awhile...i don't bother with asking the specific"
Lunar would have look at Blair seemingly glaring at her for no reason as she would have suddenly sigh "...you are acting like hellhound when i am telling something that she is curious about but she won't ask anything since she don't want to interupt...tho in this case my bet is that you are either uncomfortable, scared, or just extremely socially akward...or all three at once. If you have any question just ask away, if i don't want to answer then i just won't answer it moron, so fire away the cylinder of your question" Lunar said bluntly while insulting Blair at the same time "and stop being so formal...it's...akward you know...you are older than me afterall...in multiple way...it's weird" Lunar mumble as she look away

Re: Shelter (for Terini)
Hearing Lunar's words only made Blair look back down at her plate with a puzzled expression, and she prodded just a little at a clump of chicken rice. She leaned over the table to rest her chin in her hand, occasionally glancing back up in Lunar's direction. Were they really talking about the same thing, she asked herself? This was one of the best meals Blair had ever had at another person's home, and if Lunar's story was any indication, she had thrown it together at the last minute without any time to put thought into it. One thing was for sure - Lunar had to be a fantastic cook to do all of this on the fly.
Still, seeing she wasn't getting any easy answers to her question, Blair shrugged her shoulders, letting out a sigh. She supposed that answers would have been good, but in the grand scheme of things it wouldn't matter much either way. "Ehh...that's fine, I guess. Not like it changes anthing..."
Blair went back to eating her dinner, only to then have Lunar catch her attention again - this time, to point out how awkwardly she was acting. It was, more or less, true what she'd said - Blair had been thrust into an unfamiliar situation, not knowing much of who her opponent was, or why she'd take this much interest in her. She wasn't used to any of her opponents showing her mercy like this, and she had to ask herself what it was about her, in particular, that garnered such a response. That, and she genuinely couldn't be sure what Lunar was up to or the motives might have, especially in light of her having some sort of underworld connection. In effect, she really was simultaneously uncomfortable, scared, and awkward - but she had thought she'd been able to hide that well enough. Evidently, not so. Evidently, Lunar had been able to see right through her, picking up on whatever tells and clues might have led her to unravel everything.
The Muay Thai fighter stopped in her seat, sitting up rigidly and staring blankly through Lunar. For a moment, she sat there, silent and wide-eyed. Just who was she dealing with, then..? She didn't like to think she was that obvious - or was Lunar just insanely perceptive? Either way, she realized there was no use in hiding it any more. No matter what, Lunar was right.
Blair folded her hands in her lap, letting out a sigh as she leaned in against the table. "Look...it's just a lot to take in, okay? I would ask you questions, but I feel like at this point, everything that could be answered already has been answered. I just need time to figure out where the hell I am, I think..." Then, with a sigh, she picked up another piece of sashimi. "Well...alright. Just to be clear. You're not...going to get me involved in anything funny, right? And..." She blinked, narrowing her eyes in confusion when she heard that she was older than Lunar. With how mature and cold Lunar had been, she never would have suspected a thing. "...Wait, really?"

Re: Shelter (for Terini)
Lunar would have been annoyed with this girl in front of her...she is way to formal and rigid. She would understand it if she is younger than her or she is one of her subordinates but she is neither and it is getting in her nerf. She should just say what in her mind, she already know this from hellhound but why girls have to be so difficult
"You never know that your question has been answer, tho i do understand the feeling of not wanting to ask since you thought you already know the answer and you can take as much time as you want...you are here to rest afterall...take as much time as you need until i judge you to be back in full health and i doubt it will take a long time, a couple of at most" rie mumble
Rie would have then tilted her head confuse on Blair confusion "you didn't know? I thought it is obvious since i did say i am in university" she said bluntly "i just graduated from high school two years ago so i am currently 19...so with this you can stop being formal and rijid with me yes? The one who should be formal is me and i won't because formality is bullshit and has no use." Rie sigh "as for funny business...it depend...do you consider making you eat 3 healthy meal a day, making sure you drink prenty of water and make sure you get 8 hour of sleep funny business? If you do then yes i will involve you in funny business and you won't have any say in it" rie said in authoritif tone as she said like a dictactor having their decision finalise and can't be change at all no matter what

Re: Shelter (for Terini)
Blair's eyebrow rose. Nineteen? Lunar was just 19? She was living on her own, managing a house as vast as this one, and taking on the responsibilities of looking after someone else, and she was only two years out of high school? Blair had been regarded as a prodigy in Muay Thai, starting competition at an early age, but even she couldn't imagine taking on a burden quite like this at so young. When she was Lunar's age, she was off training in Thailand - a long ways from home, sure, but she was still living under her trainer and could depend on her to provide anything. But Lunar did all of this on her own. She looked Lunar up and down with a curious eye - this girl had her work cut out for her, and she was taking it in stride. She couldn't help but be impressed with her - even if she had her oddities.
"Yeah, yeah," Blair said with a nod. "Well, fine, if you don't want me to be so formal, I can cut it out with that. Still..." She let out a sigh, resting her arm across the table and drumming her fingers against its surface. "It just...sucks to be out, you know? Competition is my life. No matter what goes on, I want to be out there doing my best. And if I can't do that...well, I get antsy. Maybe because it gives me too much time to think..."
With a sigh, Blair looked off into the distance, reflecting on everything that frustrated her - all the obstacles in the way of her drive to constantly be on top, to prove herself, and all the insecurities and doubts that held her back at every turn. Now, she'd have all the time in the world to mull those things over. Of course, when Lunar mentioned her expectations, the girl settled back in her seat with another long sigh and a roll of her eyes. "Okay, fine, fine, I get it. I'll do what you say. Not like it's any different from what Kru Tia taught me...so, yeah, I think I can manage."

"Kru" (ครู) is a Thai honorific meaning "teacher," similar to the Japanese "sensei." Thai honorifics go before the given name.

"Well....tecnically i suppose to be in my master Degree since i was offered a chance to skip grade but i decline since it was to much of a pain...i have a moronic, idiotic, dumbass of a group to look after...i rather not have the school shoved more work load at me than they already do" Lunar would have grumble to herself as she remember the persistence offering that she keep getting and how much a pain dealing with all the paper work and letter of apology that she needed to write
however, as Blair continue speaking one word that she said struck her...and no matter how hard Lunar think about it over the year of her life she never figure out why someone like her thought process...how could someone dedicate themselves so desperately toward something that in Lunar opinion...a waste of effort that could be serve elsewhere...when she first read about the person in front of her last night...she thought she would be able to understand her...but now she just doesn't...and it seem life is out to get to her since she keep attracting her kind of people over the year of her life...she thought that it will stop but it is just her luck that it keep happening again
"...kru?" Lunar stay silent for a moment as she would have stare at Blair "ah...so that explain thing...well she did a good job raising so she will have my respect" she said bluntly as she would have stand up as she would have grab some of the dirty plate and began washing them off as it is better for her to do it sooner rather than later "well then we have daylight to burn out, do you have thing you wanted to be doing or what?...no training tho since that is the entire reason why i put you on a house arrest, since i have assumption that as soon as you are out of my sight then you will jump in into harsg training and have a unhealty diet and scedule along with it, so no heavy activity as well...and as for what i consider heavy...i will let you figure that out yourself"

Re: Shelter (for Terini)
Blair could hear the frustration coming off of Lunar's voice, and, to her credit, she couldn't exactly blame her. She had only been here a little while and she'd already had to deal with a couple of...interesting personalities. If Lunar had to put up with them day in and day out, it was a small wonder that she could hold onto her sanity. Blair's eyes wandered around the room as she looked off, thinking of everything she had seen from when she had first been brought into the house, up to this point. From all the little clues and signs she had gotten from everyone, she could tell that there was a whole world playing out here, a world that went deeper and stretched back longer than Blair could ever guess. If it hadn't been for that fateful decision to put her up against Lunar Crescent, she might never have discovered how much went on behind the scenes, and just what a life her opponent lived.
Soon enough, the topic circled back around to the present, and Blair turned around in her seat to watch Lunar as she washed the dishes. She let out a sigh and rolled her eyes, hearing her chiding her about not being allowed to train - and she had already guessed that Blair was going to try one way or another, which wasn't exactly wrong, given that she wanted to occupy herself with self-improvement with every second she had available to her. The Muay Thai fighter groaned under her breath and sank lower against the table. Was she really this easy to figure out? And did Lunar have to be so condescending about it? She opened her mouth, about to cut back about not being a child - but then she realized that it was hopeless to try and convince Lunar once she was set in her ways. Besides, much as Blair hated to admit it, in her current state she really did run the risk of hurting herself if she trained too hard, and if Lunar wasn't out to stop her, she might have already made things worse in throwing herself into making up for her previous defeat.
It did leave her with a question, though - one that made Blair stare off into space, lost in her own thoughts. If she couldn't train...then what could she do? If she had her choice, she'd devote most of her day to training. Now she didn't have that option, and now she was left needing to figure out what she would do with all that time that suddenly became available to her. Everything suddenly felt so open - and so aimless. It was more opportunity for introspection than Blair was used to. Perhaps more than she would've liked.
"Mm, right...You have a TV, I presume?"

Lunar would have let out a smirk as she would have look at the reaction that Blair had when she said no training as she thought that Blair don't like the idea of not being able to train judging from her sinking lower to the table, tho Lunar is surprice that Blair didn't say anything since she thought that she would at least complain...well if she accepted her term then she doesn't really care that much
However the sudden question does put her at pause...it is a simple questions and with a simple answer to go alongside it...there is nothing difficult about what Blair is asking...She have TVs...in every sense of the word except for usage...well expect for one...but even then it went unuse when she left...actually now that she think about it...when was the last time she properly relax and do something that is not work or study...when does the last time she actually participate in a a pointless that has no merit what so ever...probably before Lunar is born...or maybe even longer or somewhat earlier...she already lost track of time
Lunar would have stay silent and not moving for awhile as the water from the sink started to overflow a bit as Lunar would have widen her eye a bit when she felt that the water touch her hand as she accidentally let go of the plate that she was currently holding
However instead of paying attention the plate that is currently falling her focus would have been on turning off the sink as it seem that Lunar is letting the plate fall, but before the plate crash down into the ground Lunar would have suddenly catch it without even looking at the plate that she catch as she would have put the plate away "...a bit late..." She would have mumble softly as she would have turn her head to face Blair "i have 7 tho i haven't use them at all...the only one that actually get some use is the one in your room...tho the last usage of that TV is a few years ago" Lunar mumble softly
"...but what do you want to use the TV for? I don't spend any money on getting a channel so if you want to watch something then you only option is dvd" Lunar said softly
