Flying High (For Kookio)

Alizeh smirked softly seeing Reiko put the sudden brakes on at Alizeh challenging her to a test of strength mid run. 'So someone needs to learn some patience.' Alizeh thought to herself, internally making a note of things she could offer as advice to the blonde once the spar was over. For now though the young lioness was more than eager to lock up with Alizeh in a test of strength!

Starting off Alizeh would release a small grunt as she pushed against the girl. Physically speaking Reiko was pretty tough. Not the strongest girl Alizeh had face, but not the weakest, and certainly deceptively strong for her size. Impressive across the board as far as Alizeh was concerned. That being said however Alizeh was no slouch herself, and slowly but surely she would step forward, slowly but surely intending to overwhelm her opponent!

"Nngh!" Reiko grunted, trying to use all of her force to push the woman back, but ended up finding herself being gradually pulling back. She was clearly losing this test of strength. She winced as she stumbled back somewhat to try and regain her balance. Losing balance once created a small snowball effect where she would continuously keep losing her balance more often until she found herself in her corner of the ring pressed up against the turnbuckle. She couldn't let it keep going like this.

With herself pressed up against her own turnbuckle, she would attempt to let go of Alizeh's hands and slip past her more experienced opponent, hoping that the momentum from pushing against her result in her opponent being the one against the turnbuckle instead of Reiko.

Alizeh smiled slightly as slowly but surely she had pushed Reiko further and further back, almost all but handily winning the test of strength. In truth Reiko's power wasn't the real problem, rather it was the girl's footing and lack of confidence that led to Alizeh consistently pushing her back. Now the two were just about in the corner and Alizeh was about to push the blonde's hands down so Alizeh could continue her attack.

But Reiko had another idea in mind. Before Alizeh could follow through with her plan she found the grip between their hands released and her opponent gone from the corner! 'Shit.' Alizeh thought to herself as she stumbled forward into the corner, bouncing off of it and turning around as a result, somewhat stunned from the blow!

With the woman in the corner, Reiko had decided to show off what she was made of - or at least her favorite style of fighting - by climbing up the turnbuckle Alizeh was currently leaning against and attempting to pull Alizeh up to her same level where she would try to grab onto her superior's arm and leap back and throw the woman over her and slam her down upon the ring floor below them.

It was a high risk, high reward move, but Reiko generally did these types of stunts a lot to end her opponents quickly. Her problem lately was that she had been losing her high risk throws lately, leading to her getting badly hurt and put in terrible positions.

Crashing into a corner wasn't the way Alizeh would have liked to start this spar. But it was a chance at least to see what Reiko would do with the opportunity so she would run with it. But admittedly Alizeh was surprised, and not necessarily in a good way when she saw what Reiko was doing. 'High risk offense this early? Is she serious?' Alizeh thought to herself as Reiko climbed the corner, pulling Alizeh along with her.

Alizeh couldn't say she approved of THIS reckless a approach but she wanted to see where Reiko would go with it and how committed she was. So rather than push Reiko or fully countering the move Alizeh opted for something else... Rather she pulled her arm back and swung it forward, sending a palm strike into Reiko's stomach, followed by a second! A good ole fashioned top rope showdown. If Reiko really wanted to hit this move Alizeh would make her fight to do so!

For now though she just had to see how the girl responded. Would she be taken down so easily by the hits? Hang in there and fight back? Or even adapt and switch moves all together? Alizeh was eager to see what would happen next.

The strikes to Reiko's gut caused her to pause forcing a grunt out of her with each strike, her body bending over somewhat in pain. She should have known that the previous attack wouldn't have dazed her for long, but she was too impatient, and wanted to show her what she's made of right away instead of waiting for the right moment. If she couldn't bring the woman up, then she would just have to perform a less high reward attack instead.

She would end up taking a couple more strikes before attempting to grab onto the back of the woman's head, wanting to leap back similarly to how she planned, but instead of throwing the woman over her, she would simply land on her ass while attempting to bring the woman down into the floor in front of her onto her face.

Regardless of if was successful, she would still take a moment to sit on the floor and grip onto her stomach from all of the strikes she took before continuing on.

Alizeh was caught in a precarious position. Up on the top of the corner so soon in the match with an eager, perhaps overeager opponent looking to take her careening off the ropes and to the mat below but Alizeh wasn't so easily taken. Likewise however, despite the likelihood of her being able to counter Reiko the green haired girl wasn't exactly keen on doing so.

Rather Alizeh was more intent on seeing how the blonde girl reacted under pressure. With Alizeh striking back at her opponent in a effort to get her off, or rather really to see how the girl would adapt. After a few strikes Alizeh started to wonder if the girl had frozen up and if she would indeed have to take control.

However before Alizeh could do so Reiko was quick to finally react. Feeling herself grabbed Alizeh was unable to do anything as Reiko leapt off the corner, dragging Alizeh along with her and smashing her face first into the mat! "NGH!" Crying out in pain Alizeh laid there face first, completely stunned before Reiko who wasn't in a better state, but now had an opportunity!

Reiko's body had taken a good deal of blows, but seeing how she had managed to get her superior on the floor like that made her a little proud of herself. Maybe she had learned a little something from her fight against Raynare. But It wasn't over just yet. Reiko knew she had to keep on the offensive to stay ahead in these fights.

So she quickly crawled over to the lying woman on the ground, and attempted to grab hold of one of Alizeh's legs, attempting to lift it and the rest of Alizeh as high as she could before attempting to slam it back onto the mat to keep the momentum up. She had only seen this move while playing a wrestling game once, so she didn't exactly know if it hurt or not.

"Ngh..," Groaning softly into the mat Alizeh was heavily stunned and somewhat unsure of where she was after the collision her head had with the mat. Granted she had a few moments of reprieve which was enough time for Alizeh to get her hands under and start to push herself up, only to feel her leg grabbed.

'Shit!' Alizeh thought feeling most of her body lifted up before being slammed down into the mat. "GAH!" Alizeh yelled as her leg hit the mat, making her pull it up and clutch her knee while writhing on the mat, vulnerable for more offense from Reiko!

"Oh. So that doooes hurt." she would say, accidentally revealing that she was experimenting with that last move. She attempted to grab the same leg that she slammed against the mat, and pull it away from Alizeh's grasp so that she could sit on the woman's back. It was time for a submission hold to put more pressure on that leg that she decided to target. She believed that her victory was assured if she kept targeting her leg. At least, that's what Reiko thought.

If she was able to get onto the girl's back while holding onto that leg, she would pull on the leg fiercely, keeping the girl within a half leg boston crab hold. "If I get too rough, submit!" she told her, impatiently using a lot of her strength to hold and pull against the leg, wanting to get the most pain out of a short amount of time possible.
