Brave new steps: Oscar Orelash and Katrina Kelly

"Coffee is great! I've never had anything but milk in it before now but it definitely gets my gold star"

He'd chuckle as he ate more of his breakfast and drank his coffee. His phone would buzz in his pocket as Oscar gave it a quick check, eyes dancing around the screen as he read something before a wide smile formed on his face.

"Sweet. My request for an official young lion trainer went through!"

"Oh yeah? Who's going to be your trainer?" Kat asked as she finished her plate of food She would then then rise up to take her and Oscar's plate if he was finished over to the sink to prep the plates for the dishwasher as she then washed her hands and dried them off with a paper towel before throwing the paper towel in the trash. She then strutted her way back over to pick up her cup of coffee, continuing to take casual sips from it. "Did you ever find out if Tina could be your graduation match?" She asked, knowing he mentioned that as a possibility a few days ago.

"Honestly I haven't found time to really ask yet... I plan to ask this instructor later once I meet up with her"

He'd finish off his plate before Katrina would take it, giving the ninja a smile and thankful nod before drinking more coffee.

"Her name's Antonia. An ant-themed wrestler who's been competing in those apex qualifiers I heard about. From what I could dig up she's crazy smart, a bit snarky, and... pretty tough all things considered. Still- I don't expect any sort of wrestling training to be all rainbows and sunshine. She recently made a Twitter post about becoming an official trainer and I reached out to her. Nothing's been confirmed yet due to her schedule with matches but I should be hearing something soon"

"Ooo, I've heard of her, but haven't seen any of her matches yet. That should be interesting." She said as she then smirked as she brought her coffee mug to her lips. "I get the feeling you are going to be smothered a lot during your training sessions." she teased with a grin before taking a few sips from her coffee. "Do you need a refill of your coffee?" She asked before standing up as she was on her way to go grab some more for herself.

"I... figure something like that's going to happen. But it's not like I've had people try to smother me before. It happened with Ivy Crawford and it's happened with you plenty more times"

He gave a light blush as he rubbed the back of his head, holding out his mug with a nod for more coffee.

"But! I figure such things are just that common in LAW. If having to endure someone's chest or rear is what it takes to graduate the young lions then so be it"

He gave a confident grin as he finished his little speal.

Katrina took Oscar's coffee mug and went to refill it, applying the two milks like he preffered and once again applied Snickers creamer to her own and stirred them both . She walked back over to him as she handed him his coffee and remained by his side as she rested her free hand around his shoulder as she leaned against his side and took a sip of her own coffee. "I hope they eventually make a mixed title. I can see you being a solid contender for that belt."

Oscar smiled as he leaned against Katrina as well, sipping his refilled mug before speaking again.

"That'd be a great honor... from what I understand there hasn't been a mixed belt due to the low number of men on the roster. Still... that number is starting to grow. Before there used to be me and one other guy in the young lions, now I think there's four or five of us. Haven't met any of them in person, but hopefully it means a belt will be made in the future"

"I'd be surprise if there isn't one within the next year or two." She mentioned as she moved her hand from his shoulder to rest on top of his head and rub it. "Ok, after I finish this coffee I am going to go finish getting dressed and brush my teeth to get rid of coffee breath." She mentioned with a giggle as she looked down at his face since he was still sitting. "What time do you have to meet up with the lions? I can help drive you there and then I can go run my errands in the meantime."

"A ride would be great! Thanks so much"

Oscar would beam at the offer and the head rub. Like looking at a golden retriever with this guy...

"I have to be there by nine to help. Should be able to make it there in time... I think. What time is it anyways?"

Oscar looked around, trying to find a clock.

Katrina snickered as Oscar was looking around for a clock, she poked him a few times on his arm to get his attention and then pointed to the phone he was holding. "It's right there sweety. It looks like we have 45 minutes, just enough time for me to get ready and we can head out." She mentioned as she chugged her coffee to finish it and then went over to prep the coffee mug for the dishwasher as well as she then blew Oscar a kiss. "Be back down shortly." She mentioned as walked away from the kitchen to head upstairs to finish freshening up and getting dressed.
