Belinda Northman Vs. Tina Armstrong - Apex Qualifier

[Devastated]

Driving Tina down with that Fisherman Driver, Belinda would remain seated for a second or two. Catching her breath, as she rubbed her neck a bit. Tina had really laid into her just a few moments ago...and now she had a brief window to regain some focus and get the match under her control! She would reach out and grab at Tina's head, trying to lift it up a bit off of the canvas as she would try and snake her legs around it.

Trying to trap Tina's head in between her strong thighs, as she folded on leg over the other and went for a Figure-Four Head-lock! Trying to trap Tina and start to squeeze the fight out of her. She looked to get a few more seconds at least to catch her breath and rest up, and figured this was the best way for her to do it! Aiming to weaken Tina as much as possible in the process!

Tina coughed and gagged as Belinda wrapped her legs around Tina's head choking her out! Tina reached up, kicking the mat feverishly as she struggled to power her way free, or at least pull on Belinda's legs enough to create more breathing room. Tina pulled and thrashed about trying to do her best to free herself by powering her way to freedom while her lower body thrashed and twisted about, trying to get her feet close enough to the ropes to grant a rope break.

Those strong legs of Belinda wrapped firmly around Tina's head and started to squeeze. Looking to drain the energy from the Tigress and take a fair bit of bite out of the former champion. Though it looked as if Tina wasn't about to be easily contained, she kicked and struggled. Twisting from left to right as she was fighting tooth and nail. Belinda did all she could to keep Tina at bay, to keep her trapped and under her control...but it was quite a struggle.

She managed to keep her hold throughout Tina's struggles, to keep a tight squeeze on that head and neck...but Tina did accomplish her goal. Getting them closer and closer towards the ropes with each passing second, until that foot of hers managed to snag the bottom rope. The referee moved in and told Belinda to break the hold. Which of course, Belinda would do. She unwrapped her legs from Tina's head and would rise up to her feet, backing up a bit from Tina as she would play this fair and honest. Tina had earned that rope break and if she wasn't about to do something so unsportsmanlike as to drag Tina away from them or anything. Backing up a few steps, to the center of the ring, Belinda would lean forward a bit, placing her hands on her knees as she waited for Tina to get back up to her feet.

Tina got back up swaying a bit as she shook her head. She had to make Belinda pay and hit back hard. The tigress surged right at Belinda and looked to use the power and speed she had to crash right into Belinda with a running shoulder block in a bid to plow Belinda down to the mat!

[Devastated]

Belinda waited and watched...letting Tina get up towards her feet. Belinda straightened up and readied herself, moving towards the swaying Tina Armstrong as she looked to retain control over her fellow blonde wrestler. Though as she moved in towards Tina, the Tigress decided to charge! Hurling herself towards Belinda and ramming her shoulder into Belinda's shoulder for a hard shoulder block!

The Impact took Belinda by surprise and sent the blonde crashing down onto her back! Releasing a pained grunt, as she quickly would try and roll away from Tina! Not having anticipated the sudden comeback of Tina!

Tina saw Belinda rolling and she gave chase looking to keep up the pressure. Tina moved in on Belinda, grabbing her while she was still down. "Come on.... lets go!" Tina shouted as she grunted, groaning as she lift Belinda up off the canvas high. Tina was trying to heft Belinda up for a deadlift gut wrench suplex hoping that a follow up of the surprise shoulder block with some high impact offense would keep Belinda reeling while Tina continued to build momentum again.

Tina had managed to plow Belinda down onto her back with that sudden shoulder block and for the moment Belinda needed a second or two, she tried to roll away from Tina and onto her front as she would try and push herself up. Though it seemed as if the Tigress had no intention of letting her get up by her own merit. Instead the fellow blonde reached down and snaked her arms around her waist.

Next thing she knew, Belinda was lifted up off of the canvas and then throw over head by Tina and down onto the canvas with that deadlift gut wrench suplex! "Guuh!" Belinda gasped out as she bounced on the canvas.

Tina managed to send Belinda crashing down to the mat again and she wanted to keep her there. Tina got to her feet wasting no time and jumped into the air, tucking her legs in and aiming an sharp double knee drop right at the abdomen of Belinda as she laid on the mat below! Tina needed to win this, knowing full well that if she failed she would just keep tumbling down the ladder even further.... that was something she could not afford.

[Devastated]

The sudden gutwrench suplex had left Belinda bit out of it. She hadn't expected Tina to be able to make a comeback that quickly but she probably should have! After all there was a reason why Tina Armstrong had reached the heights she had. Something that Belinda knew she had to keep in her mind if she was going to be able to continue going toe to toe with the fellow blonde.

Right now though, Belinda wasn't able to do much before Tina jumped into the air and dropped down knees first into the abs of Belinda. " Gaaah!!" The Californian gasped out, air rushing out of her lungs as she kicked out with her legs. Her arms quickly wrapped around her midsection. Belinda would roll over onto her side, coughing out and trying to get air back into her lungs.

Tina was rolling now, pumping a fist in the air as she got to her feet over the downed Belinda. Tina took a breath and turned around before leaping into the air! She did a standing moonsault, crashing down right across Belinda's mid-section and hooking a leg! Tina quickly transitioned from the move to the pin hoping that this may just do the trick and keep Belinda stunned just long enough!

The official slid in to place and began to count the pin.
