While Shira made no motion to indicate she was even listening to what Kyoko was saying Emaline seemed to be listening to every word. While she couldn't see a major change in her face she could tell something she said got under her skin when her face seemed to twitch. Just something that she could turn to push her more and more, and her mouth opened to press on just what she thought it was until she was suddenly suckered by a knee right between her legs.

"Buuagh!" Kyoko gasped her eyes opening wide and she quickly fell down to her knees, the quick motion causing more pain in her stiff back as she had to catch herself from falling all the way down with a hand. She might have seen that coming or been fast enough to stop it if she wasn't this battered, or so focused on insulting the Emerald Viper to forget that she was a snake. "Rnnggh..cheap shots...another bit of tasteless tricks...that make you so pathetic." Kyoko coughed out between the lapses of pain. The way she was now, silence would have been smart, Kyoko didn't lack for intelligence, she just refused to use it all the time.

"Hmph." Emaline smirked as she casually dismissed Kyoko's condemnations. "It is simply expedience on my end. To refer to it as tasteless would be erroneous. As would declaring me pathetic over it." The Viper giggled. She kept her hands behind her back while she strutted around the Belly Queen's downed form. "This series of events may prove to be another example displaying why you are unfit to hold your precious Belly Queen title." Suddenly, Emaline spun her body around, swinging her leg to bash her boot into Kyoko's stomach for a brutal roundhouse kick.

Emaline kept up her casual attitude and behavior after throwing a knee to down Kyoko so she could throw more insults. Kyoko didn't get back up to her feet as her eyes watched Ema move around talking, clearly attempting to bother her more with the threat of taking her title from her. Kyoko would shake her head and started to speak but nothing came out before Emaline spun on her feet and quickly slammed a roundhouse kick into her belly.

"Ugh!" Kyoko gasped as the kick hit her belly and sent a shockwave through her abs as they tried to absorb the blow. Though she leaned in for a second Kyoko was able to stay up. Spite and her strong abs helped her endure the powerful kick which Kyoko tried to sell by laughing through the pain. "Well if that was true, it wouldn't be you." Kyoko muttered before she started to stand back up, and would certainly have plans for Ema if she was still in her grasp when that happened.

"Mmm." Emaline hummed in satisfaction upon hearing Kyoko's rebuttal. "I can personally assure you that such a claim is demonstrably untrue." The pinkette paused to snicker as she resumed her circular pacing. "Though considering your obstinate nature, you would stubbornly disagree." She stopped walking right in front of the purplette's face. At the same time, Shira repositioned herself closer to both women.

"As such, I have a proposal. Allow me to challenge you for the Belly Queen title." Emaline raised a finger, as if to silence Kyoko before she could reply. "Moreover, the match shall be at LAW APEX. Should you still qualify, you and I will have it arranged to have one another as our APEX opponent." Of course, both Enclave members kept their guard up, ready to react at a moment's notice should the Belly Queen attempt anything.

Considering her confidence that Emaline was not the kind of person who could beat her stubborn refusal would feel more like truth. Even if it was the kind of truth Emaline would reject, like the reality of just how much she needed her allies to get as far as she did. Her following proposal was one that she had seen coming but not one she wanted to accept, the only change was how it was an offer to face her at Apex, a chance that Kyoko knew she couldn't pass up since she still didn't have an Apex opponent and the chance to shut Emaline up seemed like something she would love to do. She did like the idea of taking on many new people for Apex, which was why she was out fighting Astrid in the first place. Yet Emaline was not someone she trusted to be this straightforward with her, some kind of catch had to be in play for this idea.

"So it would just be a normal Belly Queen title match? Just you and me, the winner takes the title and potentially becomes the first Openweight champion?" Kyoko asked. Wondering if she had some extra idea in mind for the match. While she talked, she straightened up watching both Emaline and Shira, knowing at any moment the two might try to jump her again.

"It is as you say." Emaline snidely answered. "Though if you were inquiring if I had a preference, I am inclined towards no submission or pin-only matches." Her eyes glimmered with malicious intent as she held her hands behind her back. "Such rulesets cater to my sensibilities, often allowing me to indulge myself to a far greater extent. I hope you understand." Meanwhile, Shira remained the ever-watchful bodyguard.

She knew she was walking into a trap with this kind of match, Emaline clearly felt confident that the lack of a submission was dangerous for Kyoko, but Kyoko won most of her matches by pins anyway and if Emaline couldn't escape or submit to avoid what's coming to her Kyoko felt tempted. The Belly Queen stepped in close with a smile of her own but keeping her arms behind her to make sure Shira didn't take it as a sign she was going to attack.

"That's a great idea, a pins only match to shut you up. I don't really give a shit about making you tap out, but I can make that weak belly of yours red until I'm done with you. Make my day and that match Emaline, you'll see the difference between a real wrestler like me and a wrestler like you." Kyoko said eyes focused fully on Emaline.

"~Ohoho, my.~" Emaline giggled in a sing-song fashion. "I appreciate your enthusiasm but I am already fully aware of the difference between myself and wrestlers such as yourself; little more than mere stepping stones. Moreover, you ought to be grateful I deigned to request this match. For it is a privilege to be graced by my presence." She didn't even bother to wait around and listen to Kyoko's response. The Viper immediately spun around and casually strolled away with Shira in tow.

Kyoko knew striking at Emaline would get her dog on her, not to mention Emaline might call off the match so Kyoko had to show some restraint that she hadn't shown since she joined LAW in staying off the cocky bitch. She was no one's stepping stone and once she got the chance to prove it it would be too late for Emaline to escape or back out, even if it did mean she had to stomach seeing her walk away with a stride that showed she didn't think much of the Belly Queen.

"Some privilege to be pricked by future scraps." Kyoko said though muttering once she started to move again, in truth even if Shira didn't get involved Kyoko might not have done well the way she was now. She would be ready by Apex, or at least she banked on being ready but for now Emaline would just have to wait. She had other things to do and continued to walk along the way she was heading before this fateful stopped her and once she was done she would make that match happen.
