Re: The Harpy faces the Barbarian: Oscar Orelash VS. Ulla De Milo
Oscar was a mix of impressed and confused as Ulla managed to execute an amazing acrobatic move to land on the ropes. Technically speaking, this is the first time the young lion had ever seen one of her fights in person- even if he was the one the Harpy was fighting. It added to the excitement as he felt his heart racing in his chest but he also couldn't understand why Ulla was doing all of this... was it to impress the crowd and get more love from them? Did she not see him as a threat because of his young lion ranking? No, that last one couldn't be it... Ulla was a babyface. It wouldn't be in her nature to mock him... right? It just felt like something was going on that he couldn't figure out.
Remembering his mental note about Ulla and the ropes, Oscar squinted and slowly shuffled up to where Ulla was standing. He made no attempts at any cheap shots by attacking while her back was turned but rather kept his arms ready. If there was one thing- one VERY important thing Oscar had learned when watching matches, it's that underestimating a foe was the key to defeat. Inside his mind, he believed a trap was being set. Perhaps Ulla was banking on Oscar to behave like a clunky heavyweight rookie that was all beef and no brain and just runs at her before hopping over him or hitting him with an aerial move? He had to give the Harpy credit- nobody he's faced in LAW had even made him strategize like this before. He was actually having a lot of fun with it!
With his arms ready, Oscar was essentially preparing himself in case Ulla decided to spring her trap- assuming there was one at all.

Re: The Harpy faces the Barbarian: Oscar Orelash VS. Ulla De Milo
If Oscar was an amateur sleuth, he should try his hand at becoming a professional detective one day because he would be correct to worry that Ulla’s performance on the rope was to trick him and lower his guard. Ulla expected an opposition would see an opportunity to attack if her back was turned to them. However, Oscar was a more strategic and alter wrestler than Ulla would originally imagine. The Barbarian is certainly showing that he has a good in-ring wrestling IQ for not just blindly attacking Ulla. BUT, he underestimates exactly how far Ulla could jump and do in the air.
Turning to look back at her opponent, Ulla gave Oscar an approving nod before turning her entire body towards him while on the ropes. Showing incredible balance, Ulla twisted herself 180 degrees towards Oscar before launching herself off the ropes towards the Barbarian! Flying through the air, Ulla soared and got serious some distance off the ropes! But Oscar, ready to catch his bird-like opponent, noticed that Ulla might have flung herself too far from him and appeared to be overshooting him. In reality, the Brazilian Harpy launched herself exactly as she wanted to end up. Soaring now past Oscar, Ulla was now falling down to Earth and would be directly behind Oscar. Hoping to catch the big man by surprise, Ulla reached out and wrapped her arms around the lower back of Oscar! While using her falling momentum, she used it in trying to bring the big man down for an expertly done Springboard Sunset Pin attempt!

Re: The Harpy faces the Barbarian: Oscar Orelash VS. Ulla De Milo
Oscar narrowed his eyes as Ulla turned to face him and launched herself off the ropes. Though he didn't expect her to move as she did... his arms would wind up whiffing at the air as Ulla soared over him! The young lion would barely have time to react before he felt arms wrap around him and his body falling back right into the mat! A gasp of pain and shock escaped Oscar as the impact connected. He was stunned for the moment as he tried to figure out what just happened...
ONE...! TWO...!
Hearing the ref count down from the early pin attempt was enough to snap Oscar out of it, making him throw an arm up into the air to break the pin while jerking himself to the right to try and get out of Ulla's clutches. He'd hurry to his feet while staring Ulla down if this all worked.
"Alright, you surprised me. I'll give you that"
He kept his arms ready as he worked his way back up, staying ready in case of another attack.

Re: The Harpy faces the Barbarian: Oscar Orelash VS. Ulla De Milo
Fans held their breath as Ulla not only nailed a jaw dropping Springboard Sunset Pin on her far bigger opponent, but had a chance in getting a speedy victory! But a quick win wasn’t meant to be as Oscar was able to get his bearings fast enough and was able to kick out on a 2-count! Ulla was not surprised her stronger opponent was able to get free so easily and knew she had her work cut out for herself. So Ulla decided she had to even the fighting field if she wanted to win this fight over the span of the match.
So as Oscar rolled up to his feet, Ulla didn’t bother responding to his comment and dashed in for a quick dash and attack! Running up to him, Ulla put her Brazilian Martial Arts background to use! Trying not to show any hint of what she was going to do, it would appear that Ulla was just closing the difference between her and Oscar. But before Oscar could blink, Ulla swung her hips and let one of her legs fly for a Roundhouse kick to the right outside thigh of the Barbarian. If successful Ulla would then let another kick fly, this time to the other thigh. To put this into perspective, Ulla was like a smaller lumberjack and Oscar was a giant oak! Each, if successful, Roundhouse kicks served as axe swings to bring this tree of a man to the ground!
Every wrestler’s tactic when facing far bigger opponents in some shape or form involves going for the opponent’s legs. It’s typical wrestling101 right there. Hopefully Ulla has enough power in her legs to actually do some damage with her kicks and that Oscar wasn’t a big advocate for leg day!

Oscar winced and let out a pained grunt as Ulla would deliver a roundhouse kick to his thigh that made a loud slapping sound. It wasn't quite enough to knock him down though since he worked on his legs plenty enough thanks to some advice from Tina. When the second kick started coming for his other thigh, Oscar was a bit more ready for it as his hand shot up and would attempt to catch Ulla's second roundhouse kick his his hand- looking to protect his other leg from the attack while also taking Ulla's leg prisoner and leaving her with one leg on the ground.

Re: The Harpy faces the Barbarian: Oscar Orelash VS. Ulla De Milo
In normal circumstances, an inexperienced fighter would be pretty vulnerable in Ulla’s position. But Ulla de Melo wasn’t a novice and had Oscar exactly where she wanted him. Not giving her foe a second to do something with her captured leg, Ulla would jump up and swing her other free leg out! In a show of flexibility and athleticism, Ulla attempted to free herself with a Leg Captured Enziguri kick to the side of Oscar’s face!

Re: The Harpy faces the Barbarian: Oscar Orelash VS. Ulla De Milo
Oscar really thought he had Ulla there- right up until he was rewarded for his reflexes with a swift kick to the side of his head!
"GUH!"
The young lion would let go of Ulla's leg before stumbling and falling onto his hands and knees in the middle of the ring. Everything was spinning from the kick as Oscar tightly gripped the mat in frustration. He promised Ulla that he'd give his all in this, his one hundred and ten percent, but so far he'd done nothing in terms of offense and was getting tossed and kicked like no tomorrow so early in the match. He'd start to feel some anger boil up in him as he tried to get to his feet. He wasn't one to really tap into aggressive feelings in a match despite calling himself a Barbarian Prince- he felt like blind rage rarely worked against anyone and it especially wouldn't work on Ulla... but then he remembered something.
Oscar would remember reading something on DnD Barbarians and how their rage worked. It never openly said that blind anger was how rage worked- but rather just tapping into more aggressive emotions to your benefit. Drawing inspiration from that, Oscar took a deep breath and tried to turn his boiling anger into more of a focused furry as he turned to face Ulla who he half expected to already be advancing towards him.

Re: The Harpy faces the Barbarian: Oscar Orelash VS. Ulla De Milo
Hoping her acrobatics move would pay off, the Brazilian-born wrestler was more than delighted when she felt her foot make contact with the side of Oscar’s face and ended up freeing Ulla’s leg. Ulla wasn’t the only ecstatic about her liberating her leg from the Barbarian’s grasp as her fans in attendance erupted into cheers as they saw and heard Ulla’s Enziguri echo throughout the stadium. Once landing back on the ground, Ulla would turn back around and fire one last Roundhouse kick to the side of her opponent’s head! If this kick was successful, Ulla was about to do what she does best and take to the skies!... By using the ropes.

Re: The Harpy faces the Barbarian: Oscar Orelash VS. Ulla De Milo
Everything seemed to be in slow motion as he looked up to see Ulla's leg flying towards his head for a third roundhouse kick. The crowd was deafening with their cheers for Ulla as his focused furry was turned to the leg. Oscar was a slowly growing popular LAW wrestler with a good amount of fans in the audience, but even he knew Ulla was the crowd favorite. She always was and always will be. This is why he secretly prayed the crowd would forgive him for what he was about to do.
As her leg flew towards him Oscar would try to catch it again- this time not waiting for any counters as he'd twist Ulla's leg so that she'd fall and be flipped onto her stomach before walking over near the harpy sitting down onto her back. If all of this worked, Oscar would top it off by pulling HARD on the leg he captured for a vicious single-leg Boston crab with the intent of making a C-shape!

Re: The Harpy faces the Barbarian: Oscar Orelash VS. Ulla De Milo
Letting her third and final Roundhouse kick fly, Ulla didn’t think her big muscly foe had it him to dodge her attacks- oh boy she wished she didn’t underestimate her opponent. As Ulla’s Roundhouse kick made contact, she felt her leg caught against skin, but it wasn’t Oscar’s soft cheek of his face. Suddenly, the Brazilian wrestler would feel herself be twisted and dropped to the ground. While laying face-first to the wrestling mat, Ulla tried to make sense of what just happened until suddenly, Ulla felt an extreme pain surge through her from her leg to her back! In the beginning, unbeknownst to the Brazilian Harpy, Oscar was able not only to catch Ulla’s attempted kick but was able to flawlessly transition Ulla into a Single-Leg Boston Crab!
Ulla de Melo would scream out in pain as she felt the immense pressure building up on her leg as Oscar continued to pull back further and further in this Boston Crab! The worst aspect of this submission predicament was the weight difference between Ulla and Oscar. Being significantly bigger than her and heavier, the Barbarian acted like a boulder on poor Ulla’s back! Even when using all three of her free limbs, Ulla was barely making progress in making to the ropes. On top of that, the ref was constantly checking on her whether or not she wanted to tap with each response being a more and more desperate “NO”! Even with all the odds stacked against her, the fans tried rallying and cheering her own to make the perilous and painful journey to the ropes! Determined not to let her dear fans down, she crawled inch by inch closer to the ropes while each time costing her more stamina and inflicting more pain in her leg and back- but in the end, it was going to be worth it!
