Re: In-universe Organizations
United Supreme Pro Wrestling is a independent promotion based in the U.S. with the main headquarters being located in Long Island, New York. It is run by veteran and semi-retired wrestler Hank Strongbow Williams and started gaining ground in February 2020. While most shows have stayed on U.S. soil, USPW has expanded it’s outreach internationally with shows in Canada, Europe, and Japan. Despite no partnership with League of Anime Wrestling, some notable LAW talent have made their mark in this company so far with familiar faces like Marzia Servelli, The British Bunnies, Harmonia Edelstein, and even LAW Heavyweight Champion Astrid Ostberg! Whether it is new talent wanting to shine, veterans wanting to teach the newer generation the ropes, or legends still competing past their golden years, USPW has quickly become the brand to focus on the past, present, and future.

Re: In-universe Organizations
World of Womens' Wrestling (WOWW): A US-based all-female wrestling promotion founded in 2015 by retired wrestler Carol Barlet, who got her start wrestling in independent promotions around her native Florida before going on a tour of Japan during the golden age of joshi puroresu in the late 80s and early 90s, where she made a name for herself through her long-running feud, and occasional tag team partnership, with Akira Koizumi. Upon returning to America, she was disappointed to find that womens' wrestling still wasn't taken as seriously as it was in Japan, and she considered her experience on the joshi circuit to be the true potential for women in the sport. Fifteen years later, she announced she would step down from wrestling to open a promotion of her own in the hopes of giving women from around the world a chance to experience joshi-style wrestling.
WOWW operates as something of a super-indie, having regular PPVs and a weekly show streaming online. In addition to having its own singles, tag team, and hardcore championships, WOWW features top talent from independent promotions, and even some big names from larger companies have been known to drop by. They have a close relationship with the joshi scene and have exchanged talent for major shows, and co-promoted one event in Japan that featured an appearance by Yuki Kazikura shortly after she signed with LAW. In addition, several women on the LAW roster wrestled for WOWW at one point or another, including Marzia Servelli, Cecilia Lombard, and Astrid Ostberg.
Both Akira Koizumi and Astrid Ostberg have held the WOWW Championship at one point, while the Hardcore Championship has been held by Cecilia Lombard, Astrid Ostberg, and Kayla Grant's sister Haleigh, and the WOWW Tag Team Championships were held by the British Bunnies.

Re: In-universe Organizations
A BRIEF RUNDOWN OF WRESTLING PROMOTIONS MENTIONED IN ALAINA'S PROFILE
United States Womens Wrestling (USWW): This organization began in 1978 out in the West Coast as a major territory for womens wrestling in the United States and Canada from the Rocky Mountains to the Pacific coast. From 1983-1987 there was a lul in the action and the promotion struggled until in 1988 it managed to absorb Midwest Womens Wrestling and the female roster of American Womens Wrestling becoming the largest all-female promotion in North America. The mid-1990s saw further exposure as a big TV deal was signed getting female wrestling visibility. From 1995-2018 the promotion was a hotbed for womens wrestling with its top level wrestlers facing off against other top women in Mexico, Europe and Japan. However mismanagement, backstage harassment lawsuits and other things led to the promotion folding in 2019 with its roster easily being spread out and signing on with other wrestling promotions.
There are actually talks of the USWW rising again as a developmental promotion allowing new wrestlers to learn in-ring skills in front of crowds with small-time championships on the line to help prepare them to advance to the next level. A rumor is that the wrestling would take place in one venue in a major city in the USA so the roster would not have travel expenses, and a TV deal would be needed, or internet streaming deal in order to get the new wrestlers exposure. However the alleged buyers to the USWW rights and the old powers that be of USWW are struggling to find common ground dragging out the process.
European Union Womens Wrestling (EUWW): This all womens promotion is not a promotion strictly. It has women wrestling under its banner but frequently they wrestle nationally, and come together for a big EUWW show. However the women wrestling primarily in EUWW shows were the elite of womens wrestling in Europe, and some women from the Middle East did wrestle here as well as did a couple from India. It proved to be a far moe diverse collection than someone unfamiliar with EUWW would think. EUWW Began in 1993 and continues through to this day.
Luchadora Wrestling Federation (LWF): LWF is based in Mexico City and centers mostly on luchadora style wrestling. Lots of high flying, flashy masked women populate its ranks although they are open to signing women from all over the world. LWF has been around since 1989, and is still going strong allowing women who want to learn this style of wrestling to have a stable home that offers lots of chance for visibility to larger more global promotions as it often works with other middle sized womens wrestling rosters all over the world to put on good shows.
Japan Womens Wrestling (JWW): JWW is a more classic Japanese style wrestling promotion. It began as a throwback in 2001 and continued through 2016. Despite its shorter shelf life than some promotions it helped teach current wrestlers about the history of, and old style of womens wrestling in Japan harkening back to the late 1970s-early 1990s era. However a desire to see the newer style of wrestling coupled with much of the roster leaving after a few years for more lucrative contracts led to high turnover, dooming the promotion although many of the women who wrestled here or started here have won championships elsewhere giving this a small but impressive history known for small but elite rosters while it lasted.
MISC
Womens Wrestle-Wear: A line from Underarmor made/endorsed by "Amazon" Alaina Sanders-Haines. All her match attire and training attire comes from this line and it offers a lot of outfit varaitions. Briefs can be more like booty shorts or bikini bottoms and everything in between. It is made for function as well as comfort fitting many different sizes as well as body types. While Alaina has her LAW contract, and other endorsement deals with Gatorade and Revlon this one is the most lucrative by far.

Re: In-universe Organizations
Back in the late 80s. There was a BIG of a company shot in a old wrestling community before L.A.W....the MWF (mixed Wrestling federation) it was king back then. All wrestlers were required to meet a certain standard to join. They only accepted the best of the best. Their stuck up way of running things sadly became their downfall. The high standards meant a lack of variety. With not many wrestlers in their roster has caused boredom to grow and a heavy loss in sales. The final nail in the coffin was They eventually declared bankruptcy in the late 1999 due to a catastrophic hentai match. Where the female wrestler sued the company into the ground. And it became a lost memory in time.

World Frontier Pro Wrestling: A promotion founded by retired wrestler Hank Strongbow Williams focused on highlighting talent from around the world, WFPW often features wrestlers from other promotions as a way to expose their talent to new audiences. It has a close business relationship with LAW - Harmonia Edelstein and Molly Forster serve as General Manager and Vice General Manager of its Starstruck brand, and many of LAW's Young Lionesses have long-term non-exclusive contracts with the promotion. In addition, several wrestlers on the LAW roster also have contracts with WFPW. More information here.
Explanation
World Frontier Pro Wrestling, like its predecessor United Supreme Pro Wrestling, is a creation of my friend @TheWanderer, featuring wrestlers of his own creation as well as real wrestlers and other OCs in fantasy booking of matches and shows published on his fanfiction.net and AO3 accounts, which he writes out himself. He’s willing to feature LAW characters in his shows, as well as working with LAW users to set up storylines and angles between the two promotions. If you would like one of your characters to be involved, feel free to reach out to either of us, and watch this space for more announcements!

Lucha Libre Campeonato: A historic wrestling promotion, started in the early 1930's by Salvador Riviera. Once a touring show, LLC legitimized itself when Riviera funded the construction of Coliseo Mexico as a home venue for the promotion. While suffering various ups and downs over the decades, LLC has survived by fostering generations of talent, establishing a long-reaching history for itself. Currently managed by the Lucha Libre Commission, a board of executives that oversee matchmaking and ensuring the legitimacy of their weight-class based championships (Cruiserweight, Middleweight, Heavyweight, Women's Light and Heavyweight, Parejas and Trios belts). Historically, LLC has featured a broad stable of male talent, with a growing women's division that has been drawing in fresh fans. Currently, they are starting to branch out into the United States market by establishing a relationship with US-based lucha indie Lucha Inframundo, and are open to promoting with others.
Blackpool Wrestling Association: A historic British independent wrestling organization, founded in the early 1980's by Mickie Faraday. Currently run by Victoria Faraday, BWA hosts a stable of regional talent and is considered one of the more prestigious independent wrestling organizations in the United Kingdom. Currently, Victoria uses her contacts in the international wrestling scene to bring in new, fresh challengers to go up against the home grown talent, though rumors persist that the odds are stacked against the incoming wrestlers in favor of making the wrestlers that Victoria manages look good.
