History

Alexios Laskaris was born in Athens. He comes from a family of wrestlers and started wrestling in school as soon as he was allowed to. He quickly rose to prominence in both Greco-Roman and amateur freestyle wrestling. Upon attending university, he qualified for the Greek Olympic wrestling team and won two silver medals in the Olympics. It was through the Olympics he met Helen Andronike. The two became fast friends and even faster lovers. They were a popular Olympic couple back home after medaling at two Olympics together. Alexios knew he would age out of the sport, so he began looking for other options. Alexios always liked Greek myth and incorporated it into his presentation at the Olympics. Catching the eyes of LAW talent scouts, Alexios tried out for LAW and felt like he fit in better than anywhere else. Apart from being a force of nature in the ring, Alexios called upon his time doing theater and improv in high school and excelled at delivering promos. The theatricality of pro wrestling felt right to him and Alexios, with his skills, knew he would go far in LAW. Alexios then adopted the mythological gimmick of the Titan of the Sea. Having found a place he belonged, he did everything he could to convince Helen to follow him into pro wrestling. Alexios, having moved to Japan ahead of Helen to wrestle for LAW, was alone for quite some time. During the long distance relationship period, Alexios had an affair with another wrestler in LAW. The circumstances of which he has not revealed. Wracked with guilt, he told Helen, who became enraged. She promptly broke up with him but nonetheless went to work for LAW, promising to get payback for his infidelity. Now Alexios must advance in the LAW roster with a vengeful ex-girlfriend, who he still has embers of feelings for, on his heels. He wondered which would be harder, becoming champion or solving the matters of the heart. Probably the latter.
