LAW Apex Qualifier: Winner to be declared by pinfall, submission, or knockout. THis match will count towards both participants number of required qualifiers
Thea rolled her shoulders as she stood by the guerilla position, in preparation of the bout she was slated to participate in. It would be her next qualifier that she would need in order to advance into Apex and it was against a relative newcomer to LAW, so after the way her last Apex match had gone the blonde was feeling rather confident about her chances going into this. "Time to squash an ant." Thea said to herself with a smile of self confidence as she finished fixing up the silver outfit around her curves and body before looking up to the stage hand who nodded back at her, giving the blonde the signal for her to make her entrance. As her entrance music started playing Thea would strut out to a mixed reception of cheers and boos towards the blonde, a result no doubt born from the controversial actions the Aussie had taken in her last few matches. But if the reception had any affect on Thea or not no one was able to tell. All throughout her entrance Thea's small, elegant smile never once faded or dipped, nor did she show any sort of hesitation or negative emotion from the boos she did receive. Eventually making it to the ring itself Thea would climb the stairs and turn out to face the crowd, that smirk never once leaving her face before she elegantly flipped over the top rope and into the ring itself. Climbing up onto the corner she would smile and look out to the crowd for a moment before turning and easily taking a seat on the top of the corner, crossing her legs as she did so, waiting for her opponent to come out after her.

It was time for the last Apex Qualifier of Antonia A. Aunt. The General of the Anthill took these qualifiers very seriously, seeing them as preview opportunities to show off her skills to the Apex judges. In other words, the qualifiers were important side dishes, vital to complimenting the main course. And since this was her final qualifier, absolute victory was even more important to the blonde perfectionist than usual. The prideful middleweight was determined to show off her prestige, and how to confirm how elevated she felt next to most other wrestlers. But of course, this didn't stop the nerdy bug from doing research on her upcoming adversary. Spoiler
Antonia's entrance theme came on, as the ant/war general-themed blonde made her appearance. She ambled down to the ring with a smug, yet serious expression, before climbing into said ring. Having taken note of every detail in Thea's entrance, she further examined her fellow blonde, who was sitting on a top turnbuckle. Ms. Aunt pulled out her blue ant gear device, which projected a hologram and description of her opponent.
"Name: Thea Asters, The Shining Fairy. Height: 5’6. Weight: 128 lbs. An all rounder." Antonia spoke in a robotic-like voice, addressing her foe. "Judging by your entrance, you also seem to have some aerial and acrobatic skill. That won't save you from being defeated, dominated, and humiliated by yours truly. But at least you shouldn't bore me. I'll likely find your efforts...amusing." Spoiler
Thea looked up as she heard the music of her opponent come on and the ant themed wrestler came strutting down the ramp towards the ring and Thea herself. Similarly to Thea herself there was a air of smugness around the woman as she approached and with blonde hair it'd almost be hard to tell them apart were it not for the stark aesthetic differences between the two.
There was one other core difference though, and that was the... dynamicism between them, how animated the two were. Virtually everything Thea did was intended to show her skill and energy, all to get eyes on her regardless of the reactions behind them. Antonia however? She was in contrast rather sparse with her entrance and almost robotic as she listed off several of Thea's stats and attributes, seemingly trying to analyze the Aussie. Narrowing her eyes softly Thea released a "Hmph." In response to the woman's words as she just rolled her shoulders back.
"Funny. I was about to say all of that to you." Thea shot back with a disdainful look on her face before a slight smirk came upon her face. "Except for the amusing part that is. After all there's nothing amusing about squashing a bug." Thea said with a grin of her own now forming across her face as she raised her hands up, in preparation for the bell to ring and officially start the match between the two.
Antonia was looking pretty composed, after her snarky remarks to Thea. But Ms. Asters initial response caused the ant's eyes to widen, and caused her to even blush slightly. "I was about to say all that to you." Thea had said. How dare she?! Only Antonia was allowed to imply such things. But despite these thoughts, the ant cleared her throat and regained her composure. She instead decided to focus on the another thing Thea had said: "There's nothing amusing about squashing a bug."
"What an original taunt." Antonia said sarcastically, rolling her eyes like she'd heard it several times before. That's because she had. Before coming to LAW, Antonia was involved in other combat organizations. And people tended to joke about squashing the ant like a bug, only to wind up squashed themselves. Antonia was certain Thea would be no different, and got into a fighting stance with her fellow blonde.
"You seem to be suffering from delusions, and a demonstration of my talent is the cure." The general said, before the bell would ring! Antonia was a fan of countering the moves of others. But this time, the ant would aim to attack first. Stepping towards Thea, Antonia threw a kick at her knee, a karate chop at her waistline, and finally an uppercut towards her chin. With each attempted, powerful blow, the ant would say: "Hiyaa!" She was hoping her martial arts skills would take Thea by surprise!
Thea smirked cockily still at Antonia, not exactly feeling worried at the appearance of her opponent. She was clearly a brainy type of person, or at least wanted to present herself as such and had a decent body but Thea wasn't particularly worried still. No she was feeling rather confident still despite the apparent confidence of the woman across from her.
Even when her insult was thrown back at her Thea just tossed her hair back dismissively in response. "And you're not the first to call me delusional. But I'll show you just how serious I am." Thea said as her expression suddenly took a very serious turn. "So don't expect that cure of yours to do much of anything." THe blonde said to her fellow blonde as she readied herself as the bell rang, starting the bout and prompting Antonia to attack.
"Ngh!" Grunting in pain as a kick connected with her leg Thea instinctively dropped down to her knees in pain whilst glaring up at Antonia swung her arm out chopping her in the side. "Grr!" Growling softly in pain Thea fixed another glare upon Antonia, and this time as the woman swung up for a uppercut Thea would lean back, avoiding it albeit narrowly. As she did so Thea would brace her legs before using her lowered position to throw herself forward, attempting to drive her head square into the stomach of her opponent with a massive headbut!
After the two boastful blondes exchanged not so friendly words, the bell rang and the match was on! Antonia wasted no time showing off her striking skills. First, she kicked Thea in the knee, a blow designed to force Ms. Asters to double over. Next, the general chopped Thea's waist, knocking some wind out of her fellow blonde. Both these strikes resulted in favorable outcome for Antonia, but the following uppercut was narrowly evaded.
"Tch." Antonia let out in annoyance, before Thea fought back with a headbutt to her stomach! "Oooof!" While Antonia had a flat and toned midsection, she didn't have the same armor abs as her friend Honie. As such, the headbutt caused the ant to cough and move back two steps. "How annoying." The bug girl muttered, before stepping forward to attack again!
The general would throw a sharp side kick at Thea's face. The martial arts expert was hoping to nail her fellow blonde, before she had the chance to rise up from her kneeling position!
So far Antonia had the privilege of getting the first strikes in against the blonde. Something that made Thea tsk in annoyance but nothing she couldn't turn around all together. So taking advantage of her bent over position Thea would jut forward, managing to nail the damn ant with a headbut right into the gut!"Hehe." Thea chuckled to herself, about to rise up when she saw Antonia's leg swinging up.
'Shit.' Thea thought to herself, acting on instinct and reaching up with her arms in order to try and block the kick, something she knew she would't be able to fully do but she could at least try to mitigate the damage towards herself.
"Ngh!" Grunting in pain from the impact as Antonia's leg connected with her head and hands... Thea would at least take advantage of the situation to try and close her hands and arms around Antonia's leg. So if she did so successfully she would have a grip! And should she keep it Thea would drop down all together, twisting as she did so to pull Antonia's leg down with her in a effort to smack the ant's leg into the mat with a dragon screw!
Antonia didn't appreciate having her perfect strike combo ruined by an annoying dodge. The ant was a perfectionist after all. Contributing to her annoyance was Thea's decision to headbutt the bug girl's abdomen. But Antonia was quick to retaliate, attempting to nail her rival blonde's face with another kick!
Thea managed to somewhat block the blow using her hands, but Ms. Asters grunt still confirmed the damage done. Antonia initially smirked at this, until she realized her leg had been captured!
"Hey!" Antonia protested. But before the general could pull her leg away, Thea slammed her down with a dragon's screw! "Uggh!" The blonde bug grunted, before opting to quickly rise back up. The mat was a vulnerable position to lay on, and the clever nerd knew not to stay there very long. Thea's attack had still shook her up a bit. But Antonia recomposed herself and got into a fighting stance, looking to anticipate and counter her opponent's next attack. "Don't tell me that's all you got." The general snickered, deliberately trying to goad her foe into doing something rash.
Thea admittedly wasn't expecting such proficient striking abilities from Antonia, or really anything much if she was being honest. But Thea supposed that the girl had to have been worth something if she managed to get into a apex qualifier. 'This will be real annoying.' Thea thought to herself with a glare.
At least until she had managed to catch onto her opponent's leg. Then Thea would allow a small smirk to grace her face as she gave a mocking look at Antonia's protest before she turned sharply, bringing her opponent's leg down with a dragon screw!
Immediately pushing herself up to inspect her handiwork Thea's smug smirk would eventually fall as she saw her opponent get back up not long after herself. "Tch not on you're short life." She shot right back at Antonia with a glare before she darted forward. Swinging her arm up as if to go for another punch aimed at Antonia's gut Thea would suddenly drop down while swinging her arm around to the side, trying to land a hard chop down on her opponent's leg!
Antonia was cool, composed, and calculated, at least usually anyway. And she also wasn't above playing mind games, hence way she taunted Thea, after recovering from the dragon screw. The general hadn't expect too much from her adversary either, but she mentally acknowledged the fellow blonde had some skill. That was evident in the way she'd executed that dragon screw.
Ms. Asters was also skilled enough to preform feints, but Ms. Aunt was paying close attention. She did raise her arms in response to Thea's punch seemingly going towards her face. But as soon as Thea dropped down, Antonia stepped back, just dodging Thea's attempted leg chop! The ant simultaneously sent her hands back down, in order to cleverly catch the wrist of Thea's attacking hand!
"Indeed. Ants don't live very long." Antonia said smugly, in a sarcastic response to her foe's latest taunt. "Shame they'll outlive you." While making the declaration, Antonia aimed to throw Thea with an irish whip towards the ropes. If successful, the general would follow it up with an attempted lariat, after her opponent bounced off said ropes!
