Doctor Fabulous vs. Ishtar Vasiliev

Doc Fabulous was holding onto that headlock as hard as she could, gritting her teeth as she tried to wear Ishtar down even more. Her opponent was stronger, but she knew how to dismantle them. She just needed a proper moment to regroup before she could start a proper plan of attack. And unfortunately for the wrestling professor, she wasn't being granted that opportunity. A hard elbow went right into Fab's side, making her gasp out in pain. "Ah...!"

She loosened the hold very slightly, clenching her eyes closed tight, but Doc Fab knew she couldn't just release Ishtar right there. She needed to act now, and act in a way to send Visiliev down to the mat. And so, Doctor Fabulous stood up more and tightened the side headlock even more, fighting through that elbow and using it to fuel her as she leaped forward and attempted to throw all of her weight down so she could plant Ishtar into the mat with a bulldog!

Ishtar's elbow struck clean, but it wasn't enough to throw Fabulous off her back completely. She felt the Doctor's grip on her head loosen, but Fabulous was still fighting to drag down the mighty Russian all the same. Ishtar was not ready for Fabulous to be so persistent with her attack. She had been confident that her elbow would have hurt enough to stop the blonde from continuing to push forward with her headlock.

Because of this miscalculation, Ishtar was caught off balance when Fabulous starting trying to pull her down. She tried to push the Doctor away, but without a solid base beneath her, Ishtar was unable to overcome the force of both her opponent and gravity together. Ishtar was slammed face first down into the mat. "Gah!" the Russian cried out. But she was still quick in working to get herself back up to her feet, not wanting to allow any follow up from Fabulous.

Managing to throw Ishtar down with that bulldog, Doc Fab landed and released her, grimacing as she shook her head, trying to shake off her own pain now that she had a moment. But Ishtar was already starting to rise, much to Fabulous' annoyance. "Come on..." she muttered to herself, pushing herself up as well and narrowly beating out Ishtar.

As the Russian was almost fully to her, Fabulous knew she had to keep trying to ground Ishtar more. If she kept her opponent down as much as she could, just to keep her from going after her still. So she dropped down and then give a low dropkick towards Vasiliev's leg, hoping to just take her down to at least one knee, if not onto her front. She wasn't about to allow her any headway against her.

While Ishtar was quick to get up after the bulldog from Fabulous, the Doctor was quick to try to knock the Russian back down to the mat. A dropkick into Ishtar's knee would bring her back down, with the powerhouse balancing on one knee with a hand on the mat. Fabulous was putting the pressure on now that she had escaped Ishtar's opening attack, and now the Russian had to figure out how to turn back the tables.

To do so, Ishtar had two options. She could either try to get away and reset, or go in with a roaring counterattack. As for fabulous, though she naturally ended up on her back after performing a dropkick, she was already almost back up while Ishtar was still down on her knee. That would make getting away difficult at best. Plus, Ishtar was already leaning forward from being knocked down. Guess I'll attack, she thought.

With it still being early in the match, Ishtar chose to remain conservative with her counterattack. She would go from her knee to her foot and push off, pulling her body back while swinging her other leg forward for a sweeping kick. This way, even if it failed, Ishtar would have better odds at an emergency escape. Though if it worked, the Russian would be too out of position for any guaranteed follow up. She would be able to apply some pressure, but Fabulous would have time to try to defend herself.

Doc Fabulous felt good about nailing that low dropkick, trying to do damage to that knee and keep Ishtar from getting up immediately. Knowing she had to stay ahead, the blonde began to stand right after nailing the hit. Ishtar was just too dangerous to let up on. And Doc Fab would have to come up with a big plan to start breaking her down. She leaned down to grab hold of Ishtar, trying to pull her to her feet.

However, the Russian was still quick for her size. As she swung back, she spun, sweeping out Doctor Fabulous' legs! The maneuver was a surprise to the wrestling professor as she went right back to the ground, hitting on her back on the mat as she grit her teeth and groaned out loud. She could move and had some proficiency with her strikes. It was something new to note, but for now Doc Fab would be behind yet again, open for the Russian to attack her once more.

It seemed that Ishtar made her move just in time, as Fabulous was reaching for the Russian's foot when she pulled it back for her attack. Ishtar wasn't a nimble acrobat, nor was she even particularly fast, but she still had good bodily control. Something that had proved necessary for her to develop to keep her natural power in check and prevent accidental property damage or bodily injury to others. Though it was rather ironic that now Ishtar was using her bodily control to actively attack another person.

Both Ishtar and Fabulous were on their backs, but the Russian had the advantage since she had just struck. The question was; how much could she do with that advantage? In the time it would take Ishtar to get up and get to an attacking position, Fabulous would certainly be able to at least prepare to defend herself. The Doctor's feet lay closest to Ishtar, as such they would take the least time to reach. So they became her target.

Ishtar would try to grab Fabulous by her ankles, and then use her strength to flip the Doctor over onto her stomach. Then Ishtar would drop one of Fab's legs and stomp on her ankle, then grinding her heel down into it for added effect. Then the Russian would take the ankle that she held onto and start twisting it around for an ankle lock. "Let's see how much your ankles can take!"

Doc Fabulous was winded from the sweep that Ishtar had sent her way, and while she was ready to start standing, it seemed that Vasiliev was already ready to start coming at the blonde again. With a groan of annoyance, the Doctor was starting to try crawling away, only to be grabbed by her leg and turned over. The ankle lock came after, forcing Doc Fab to scream out in pain. "Gaaaaah...!" she yelled, gritting her teeth.

She didn't panic though or get worried. Submissions were her wheelhouse, after all, and what she excelled at. She just needed an opening--a way to escape. And preferably to buy her time. She had gotten out of an ankle lock countless number of times, but this one required a little more momentum behind it. Ishtar was too big to simply let herself break the hold by normal means. So through the pain, Doctor Fabulous swiveled around, facing the nearest turnbuckle.

"We won't see... today!" yelled out the submission artist, pushing herself up on her hands and then rolled forward, attempting to shoot Ishtar towards the turnbuckle. With luck, her Russian opponent would smash hard against the turnbuckle and give herself some breathing room so maybe she could turn the tide on this match!

Ishtar had gotten her ankle lock. Fabulous had tried to simply get away from the Russian, but the Doctor couldn't escape from her predicament that easily. And now she would pay the price for trying in the form of Ishtar's dangerous submission hold. The Russian was no specialist, but her holds were solid. And that's all she needed with her strength to back them up.

Fabulous pushed herself up like she was trying to alleviate herself from a Boston Crab, but that maneuver would provide no such relief against Ishtar's ankle lock. But the Doctor's movement's did have purpose. She started to roll forward, pulling her full body forward against Ishtar's grip. But the Russian wasn't fazed. "You cannot overpower me to escape, Doctor." Ishtar claimed as she pulled back against Fabulous.

But while Fabulous couldn't overpower Ishtar, the Doctor could overpower her own attire. Both women were pulling in opposite directions, with the focal point being the Doctor's shoe. Eventually, Ishtar fell back onto her butt with a yelp. And when she looked in her hand, she had the Doctor's shoe, but no Doctor. Fabulous pulled her foot out of her shoe and escaped. "Well I guess that's one way," said Noelle as she tossed her opponent's shoe back to its owner.

Doctor Fabulous had tried to pull her weight down through the ankle lock, attempting to somersault and force Ishtar to break, but the Russian was still so powerful as she tried to hold on tight. Still, the Doctor's continued to try pulling back, finding no real escape until she realized she needed to try something more. The ever-thoughtful blonde seemed to usually have a back-up plan as she grit her teeth and then reached back with one hand, tugging on the laces of her boot until finally her foot slipped right out of it!

The wrestling professor rolled right out of it, with one less boot now, as Ishtar toppled back. Spinning to her feet, Doc Fab winced slightly as the Russian threw her boot back to her, only for the psychiatrist to throw it right back. "I don't need to overpower you... I just need to outsmart you," the Doctor said, hoping to distract Vasiliev with the boot toss right back at her and running forward and leaping up and over Ishtar. She would vault the taller woman as she was sitting and then grab for her head, hoping to come right back down and nail her with a flipping neckbreaker, wanting to finally start her own set of offense against the dominant Russian powerhouse!

Ishtar had thrown the Doctor's shoe back to her as a courtesy. A gentle lob that the silver haired powerhouse made no attempt to follow up on with an attack. She could've set it aside, or even actually thrown it out of the ring and into the crowd to force Fabulous to either take the time to remove her other boot, or try to fight with one shoe and one barefoot. Something that naturally creates unbalance in one's movement.

Fabulous caught the shoe, and Ishtar got to a knee to begin to stand. But suddenly the Doctor's shoe was flying right back at her head. "Wha!" the Russian yelped as her hands shot up to catch the shoe. The surprise from the incoming projectile caused Ishtar to lose her balance and fall back down to a seated position. And Fabulous was planning to follow up her shoe toss with an attack.

With Ishtar having her hands and her attention occupied with the shoe, she didn't react as Fabulous leaped over her. And the Russian wasn't fast enough to turn around and defend herself against the Doctor's attack. The blonde grabbed Ishtar's head and snapped it down into the mat. "GAH!" she cried on impact with the mat, still trying to get a grasp on what was going on.
