The 'Sea Turtle', Akari Ito vs the 'Ruthless Shork', Gawr Gura
Match Type: "Standard Best of Five Falls."
Win by reaching a score of three falls over your opponent. Falls can be scored via pinfall, submission, or knockout. Additionally, if a wrestler remains outside the ring for too long, by the count of ten they will be disqualified. Furthermore, if a wrestler performs an illegal move and is caught in the act by the referee, they will be disqualified.
Standard rules - DQs, Count-outs, and the pinfall, submission, or knockout MUST happen within the confines of the ring under the supervision of the referee.

Akari was performing her routine warm-up backstage. Drilling herself in a bit of shadowboxing, some stretches, preparing herself mentally as she tried to boost her confidence and get her game face on, hyping herself up as she tossed punch after punch into the air, hopping on her feet. She was nervous, but not as much as before in her last few matches. Her start in LAW wasn't the grandest but it was still a start, she was showing that she had potential, that she was capable, that she belonged here. She was willing to fight to the top and do her best on the journey up, no matter how many times she would be knocked down. Even if she wasn't being met with any big-time opportunities, the struggles and battles she was facing clearly showed how much passion and determination she had while she was here to prove herself in LAW. Now came the time for her match...and tonight, she was going to fight her hardest and claim victory.

A backstage crew member told her that it was time and Akari left her room to approach the exit out towards the ring and the arena. She took in a deep breath, put on her smile, slipped her headphones on, made sure her custom jacket was nice and fitted, and proceeded out towards the ring as her theme song was cued on. With her music blaring and booming, she hyped up the crowd of spectators with one helluva entrance show as the lights flashed and the announcer called her down. She stood at the top of the stage, dancing and grooving to the rhythm of her music as she made her way down the ramp in a beeline toward the ring.

"...Entering the ring first, hailing from Tokyo, Japan...she's the most marvelous DJ, Dancer, and Wrestler in the entire ocean and she's here to make her name known all across LAW...Akari Ito!!! The Sea Turtle!!!"

She gave high fives and took selfies with some of her fans, seeing that some of them had followed her from her indie days all the way to LAW was the perfect heartfelt inspiration that Akari needed as she felt even more confident. She eventually made it to the ring, she hops up to the apron and strikes a pose before slipping through the ropes. She removes her headphones and jacket and hands it to a crew member for safe keeping. She walks to her designated corner and now....she waits for her opponent...

Gura was preparing herself on the locker room for what would be her second match in LAW, and maybe the best one of her career, besides the fact of having her second match. Once she got off of the seat, she would walk out to backstage area while cracking her knuckles, she was ready for her match against the Sea Turtle. Her expression was one of confidence and desires of beating her.

She kept walking around backstage up to near the entrance area of the arena, waiting behind the curtains for her entrance to be announced while doing some previous stretch and cracking her neck. Then the lights of the arena turned blue and white as Gura's theme started playing in the entire arena, while the crowd gets wild. The shork girl then appeared through the curtains and stood on the top of the ramp while looking at the arenas and raised both arms at the crowd with both middle fingers showed up, as the crowd responded to her the same way as her common chant.

"MAKING HER WAY TO THE RING FOR THIS BEST OUT OF 5 MATCH... WEIGHING IN 5'3" AND 140 POUNDS... SHE IS THE RUTHLESS SHORK... GAWR GURAAAAA!!" the announcer said while the shork girl was doing the start of her entrance.

After her presentation introduced by the announcer, she walks through the ramp while looking at Akari with an expression of confidence, the same she had before leaving the locker room and backstage areas, she came closer to the metal steps and escalated through them to go over the apron, later she gets inside the ring and climbs up to the second turnbuckle to raise her fingers again. Later, she goes down from that corner and turns around to look at the Sea Turtle while doing some warm up with the ropes and panting for a little bit before the match starts, as her expression of confidence changed into one of focus.

Akari was feeling more and more pumped up as she felt the atmosphere of the arena change as her opponent's theme began to play out. She saw her opponent standing there and she grinned, staring her down the whole way with a confident, competitive look. Of course, she harbored no ill-will towards Gura but she WAS her opponent. She'd show her the respect she deserved as a fellow fighter by giving her best effort and fighting a good, fair fight. Akari remained relaxed but focused as she stayed in her corner, letting Gura finish her entrance as she warmed herself up with her stretches and shadow boxing. The time had come for the match to get underway as the announcer chimed in and finished the announcement for the match. The referee gives both fighters their cue to get ready, and the bell rings...Sea Turtle vs Shark...Akari Ito vs Gawr Gura....

Akari starts out by rushing down Gura and going for a strike-oriented start. She forms her MMA-gloved hands into fists, balling them up and shooting out some punches toward Gura, light jabs in order to pepper her and test the waters of her opponent's defense. During the physical encounter, she would mix in some kicks too, trying to keep Gura on her toes and guessing where she'd be striking next as Akari opens up on the offensive.

Once the bell rang, Gura gets suddenly rushed down by the turtle and going to get hit with the punches and jabs, but she blocks them with both arms and pushes her away, Gura has some experience on MMA so she would start countering with some knees on the gut after grabbing her by the hair and giving some punch strikes to Akari against the corner, then she finishes with a leg sweep to make her sit against the lower turnbuckle before stepping back.

Once she stepped back to the opposite corner, Gura rushes at Akari and goes for a knee strike which was aimed at the right side of the head.

Akari makes her attempt to strike at Gura, slamming strike after strike into her guard in order to try and whittle her down, however, her opponent was no slouch when it came to a brawl. After a couple of good strikes, Gura started blocking more and more of Akari's attacks, eventually managing to land a significant counter on Akari, landing one knee to the side of the Turtle's stomach. Akari lets out a grunt but she holds steady, blocking as many punches as she can while Gura has her hair in her grip. Her back touches the corner and she gets distracted for a moment, allowing Gura to sweep her leg and plant her down on the floor.

Akari noticed Gura's plan, backing up and likely about to rush her with some kind of running attack. Akari waited until Gura got closer and when the Shark leaped forward with her Knee Strike, Akari dodged out of the way so that Gura's knee would crash into the turnbuckle and corner post rather than her own head. Instead of following up, Akari would move away, trying to stay light on her feet and not over-extend. Now she knew that Gura was a pretty capable striker, going back in for another brawl could prove to be too risky...

Gura was running at her as she attempted for the knee shot against Akari in the head, but at the last moment she gasped after seeing her opponent dodging the hit, but it was too late for the shark to stop and because of that mistake, she accidentally hits herself the right knee against the second turnbuckle of the corner, grunting in pain while standing against the corner and holding that knee.

The speed of the run plus the dodge at the last moment didn't made Gura react at time to think twice, and now she has a knee hurt, it can be even noticed by every step she tried, plus the referee was checking her. Since after the knee shot at the head was missed, her right knee is currently exposed to be the most vulnerable part of her body against any move which can be executed there.

Akari noticed that Gura was in pain, obviously in the knee most likely, but she refrained from striking or attacking there. She liked a good, fair fight and so she avoided attacking the more injured knee, but she was still in a match and so she would still capitalize on Gura being stunned for a moment. Rather than injuring her opponent further, Akari instead went to grab Gura by the wrist, pulling her foot up and resting her sole and heel underneath the jaw of the 'Shark'. She gave a teasing grin and she fell backwards, hitting the ground and having Gura's chin SLAM into her foot thanks to her 'Eat Defeat'.

Gura got grabbed by Akari from the wrist and pulled close to her after getting up, just to get hit on the jaw with that feet strike called 'Eat Defeat', which had the purpose of giving more pain to the shark girl. To be specific, at the jaw.

After that huge hit, Gura falls against the mat by landing on her back, almost hitting the back of her head due to the fall impact after that move. Fortunately, Gura was able to roll quick until she gets outside and stays laying on the floor of the ringside with both eyes closed and the mouth a bit open, groaning softly in pain.

Although that strike was effective against Gura, but the shark was more smarter by going outside quick, avoiding any chance of getting pinned on this first fall.

Akari had rolled backward after the impact, quickly getting to her feet via a kip-up and trying to catch Gura before she could get away. However, the 'Shark' managed to escape to the outside of the ring, with Akari only looking at her from the inside. Akari glanced at Gura, seeing that her eyes were closed shut as she was recovering on the floor, prompting Akari to go for a risky move as she eyed the corner.

She stepped closer and began to climb up the ropes, reaching the top of the turnbuckle and perching on the top, looking down on Gura's body. She would then LEAP from the top of the turnbuckle to the outside, aiming to splash onto Gura's body for a Diving Crossbody to the Outside.

Gura was laying outside after escaping successfully as a way to avoid the first pinfall, yet she was still feeling the pain of the jaw after that devastating move performed by Akari inside the ring. She was trying to recover on the floor to get up until... Gura got down again with that diving crossbody made by Akari from that corner to outside.

However, Gura rolls back with the body of Akari and gets up with her getting grabbed with both arms in a horizontal position while walking a bit with a confident smirk as she looks at the crowds, everything until staying close from the barricade near both of them.

Once she stood up and carrying Akari's body, the shark goes down the floor and let the turtle out of the grip by throwing her against that barrier with a Fallaway Slam, hitting her back with that thing as a great and unexpected counter move against her opponent.
