Corey Sniper vs. Anastasia Akira - Apex Qualifier Match

Another Apex qualifier match for Corey, and she sought to win this one to increase her chance to put herself into the race for the Openweight title. Seemed like she would be facing someone named Anastasia Akira, the daughter of Cyber Widow or Thereisa Niedermeyer. Already in her wrestling outfit, Corey waited for her cue to make her entrance.

Soon, it was time for her to get out, and she made her entrance, making her way to the ramp as the crowd cheered for her. Ever the crowd-pleaser, Corey blew kisses here and there while posing cutely and sexily for those who were taking her pictures. Then, she made her way to the ring, waving her hands along the way.

Upon reaching the ring, Corey posed at the apron before she climbed it up, slipping under the ropes. Doing some warmup first, she then made her way to her corner so that she could wait for her opponent to appear. Draping her arms over the ropes, she leaned against the turnbuckle, keeping her eyes on the entrance to see her opponent.

'Ana, you don't have to go out there alright.' Serilda would tell her step-sister who is putting her shades on her face. It's been a week or so since she was in a match with Cecilia and taking that burning hammer move that made her land on her neck in a very dangerous botch, luckily the most she got from that was a bad stinger in her neck and that was all.

Even the doctor said that she was very lucky to escape without serious harm to her neck or any lasting effects of the botch move, but Ana couldn't just sit at home since she is still considered the Fighting Idol of LAW and injury or no injury she was going to go out there and wrestle for her fans tonight, regardless. 'I know I shouldn't but I need to show that I am fine and doing this is what I want to do,' Ana replies back putting her jacket on before turning to face her step-sister with a grin on her face.

'I see you out there and cheer for me, okay,' she says as her music plays on the speakers, neon lights flashing all over as she walks out on stage with her arms raised for everyone to see her. Making her way down the ramp and slides underneath the bottom rope and into the ring, she lowers her shades down giving Corey a glance before taking her shades off and her jacket giving them to the ref as she makes her way to the middle of the ring and holds her hand out for her opponent to shake it.

' Let's have a good match alright,' she says... while waiting for Corey to make an attempt at shaking her hand, just so Ana can pull her hand away and with a sly smirk on her face.

Watching her opponent making her entrance, Corey hummed to herself as she waited for Ana to join her in the ring. Soon, both of them were in the ring, and Ana approached her and held out her hand, as if offering Corey a handshake.

But when Corey was about to accept the handshake, Ana pulled her hand away and showed her a sly smirk. "Heh." There was an amused look on Corey's face as she lowered her hand and stepped back, readying herself for the match.

Corey had been in this industry for quite a while, and she knew how to handle things if her opponents tried to provoke her. And she had to admit that Ana almost succeeded in making her feel annoyed, though Corey managed to retain her cool.

Then, the referee would make sure that both Corey and Anastasia were ready for the match. After that, the bell was rung, signifying the start of the match. Corey would start off by taking a stance and waiting for her opponent to make her first move.

Ana is being way too playful while staring down someone like Corey. She has heard about the other woman who had been making a big move in reaching the top in her weight class, and since her step-sister is trying to do the same well, she has to be the one to bite the bullet and take on Corey right here and now to beat her in this match and knock her off her high horse.

Seeing that her opponent is waiting on her to make the first move to start off their bout, by making a fake lunge forward, but is really planning on ducking low and going to get behind Corey and wrap her arms around the woman mid-section.

Not really going for a big move, but more of wanting to annoy the other woman by doing little things to tick her off and make her angry, wanting to force Corey to make a mistake due to being angry at her.

Seeing that Ana was closing in, Corey would prepare herself for the lock up, but it seemed that Ana was performing a misdirection as she slipped to her back after ducking low before she wrapped her arms around her waist from behind.

Unexpected but not something that Corey couldn't handle. While her waist was held from behind by Ana, Corey would try to stop her from doing anything else by swinging her elbow right to the direction of her face, hoping to stun her with the strike.

Seeing that, she was able to sneak behind her opponent and was able to get her arms around Corey's waistline. But any plan she had on doing is stopped by her opponent who, after seeing what Ana was doing, countered with an elbow to the face, that leaves the blue hair idol stunned and forces her to back up slowly clutching her cheek with her hand.

'Owwieee... Why does everybody aim for the face...' Ana would complain and doing the time-out sign to the ref, moving her body to the ropes so that the ref can check on her face and make sure nothing is swollen? 'If we were going to do a match, no aiming for the face alright...' she would say as the ref makes the motion for the match to continue after the time-out.

Hitting Ana's face with her elbow, Corey was let go from the waist lock. However, before she could follow it up, Ana made a time-out sign, and Corey blinked as she lowered her arms. After getting herself checked by the ref, Ana then got herself back into the fight, telling Corey to not target her face.

"Eh, sure." Corey shrugged. "Whatever you say." She saw no problem with that. Taking a stance, Corey beckoned Ana to come to her, preparing herself for whatever the blue-haired babe before her would do next.

Seeing that her opponent was respectful and even saying that she would not strike her in the face at all. As her opponent beckoned her to come at her again and that is what Ana is going to do as she rushes forward this using her quickness to try to get behind Corey again, but it is more of a ploy since she expects the woman to be waiting for the same thing to happen again.

She starts to lean forward as if going for a spear to Corey mid-section, but instead it is really a fake as her back leg is raised going for a scorpion kick to her opponent's face.

Waiting for Ana to come to her, Corey saw Ana charging towards her, seemingly going for a spear. She prepared herself for the move, planting her feet on the mat, but instead of hitting her with a spear, Ana hit her with a kick to her face instead!

"AUGH!"

Corey was taken down by the kick. She groaned as she clutched her face. "Grrghhhh... oww..." She glared at Ana for targeting her face, even though Corey did promise to not do the same to her.

Ana would giggle at seeing Corey on the mat. Turning around and lightly smacking her plump backside in front of the other woman with a cute smirk, even sticking her tongue out in front of her opponent for good measure.

' Hey now, don't be upset... We all can't have a very pretty face like mines you know,' she says mockingly... even smacking her well-shaped backside in front of Corey's face. After teasing her opponent, Ana would run to the ropes and rebound off of them, racing towards her opponent and turns going for a running hip attack to the other woman's face.
