Alaina vs. Wicke: Apex Qualifying Match

Alaina was looking to bulldoze Wicke and she stepped in to swing a clothesline but she played right in to the trap! Alaina's attack was halted and her arching torso was then smashed by Wicke! Alaina howled and stumbled back falling down onto her back as she rubbed her chest. She was groaning in pain, her legs limply kicking the ground as she laid there. Her own failed dive along with the hard hit by Wicke after being baited in left the proud amazon down on the ground!

"FOUR!"

"FIVE!"

Wicke was lucky that her opponent didn't catch onto to her trick or an attack from above. The Smart Strike was delivered in such a manner that the energy spread across Alaina's chest, granting a more lasting impact as opposed to immediate. Feeling a tiny bit of the sting on her palm, Wicke wouldn't immediately capitalise on the laying Amazon's condition needing to take another breather. "All according to plan..." Yet she still had an urge to grow a half-smile for the sake of her supporters.

Having had enough of a break to restore energy, Wicke decided set her next plan into motion. Crouching down to hook each of Alaina's legs underneath her armpits, she glanced back towards the ring to figure out the appropriate trajectory. She tried to drag her opponent across the steel floor to take into account ideal distance. Once all factors have been accounted for, with a slight delay Wicke attempted to lean backwards so her foe would be catapulted towards the ring near bottom rope and apron.

The amazon groaned and thrashed about in Wicke's grip not out of it but still hurting. However before she could react Alaina and flung up into the air for a hard landing at the base of the ring! "ARGH!" the amazon groaned landing hard and rolling onto her back, her leg rising twice meekly as it flopped down to the ground as she kicked in pain while her arms cradled her chest.

With ideal precision she managed to successfully launch Alaina towards the hardest section of the ring. Almost sounded a bit excessive if it weren't for the calibre of opposition. "Ahhh..." Feeling the weight coarse through her shoulders forced Wicke to recalibrate herself by stretching.

"SEVEN!"

Turning to observe Alaina's convenient position, she predicted that there was enough time to deliver one more crippling blow. When she neared to where the amazon lied, the researcher clasped her opponent's shoulder using strength to forcibly prop Alaina temporarily once again. Using her other arm to loop around the opposition's neck, she tried to raise Alaina off the ground until she could be balanced on the bottom ropes as a sort of surface. Using the ground to her advantage, Wicke tried to drop down for a rope assisted DDT.

One thing Wicke didn't take into account was that giving Alaina time to recover while thinking of her plan was ill-advised. The amazon felt herself being picked up with an arm around her head knowing that something bad was coming... and also knowing that she was in a position to counter! Alaina landed a body punch followed by a knee strike before letting out a war cry of a scream, grabbing Wicke as she did her best to turn this DDT into a vertical suplex on the outside as the official kept the count-out count going inside the ring!

With the game and its players ever evolving, time management was muddled the many factors. These few seconds couldn't be more crucial as the very moment Wicke scooped up her opponent in a frontal facelock, Alaina suddenly reverted to life. "AAhhhh....AHHHHH" A fist and a knee driving into her gut in short succession turned the scientist stiff. She was then forced to keel over in a sort of role reversal now that the Amazon controlled her neck. "AHHHHHHHH!" After a sudden swerve and lift Wicke was slammed against the hard metal, eliciting another yowl from the purplette as a result of continuous turmoil on her back.

"NINE!"

Both wrestlers were dangerously on the edge of elimination, especially Wicke who laid down as if she were a turtle.

Alaina was getting up when she heard the referee call a count of nine with them still on the outside! She grabbed Wicke and lift her up, shoving her back underneath the ring ropes into the ring before climbing up onto the apron to roll under the ropes herself to narrowly avoid anyone being counted out. That was quite the close call and Alaina was trying to get back to her feet to take control of this match while back inside the ring. She pulled Wicke up and grabbed hold attempting to go simple but hopefully effective by scooping Wicke up and slamming her back down to the mat in the middle of the ring.

"Urhhhh..mmhmmmm" It seemed plausible that Wicke could have have suffered her first ring-out loss, but her stirring and still bright pupils raised the possibility of springing back to life like a zombie in dire circumstances. Luckily for the fans at least, the show would go on and only finish where it started. Due to her recent injuries, Wicke wasn't able to form coherent words in protest but twitching increased as Alaina didn't wish to make her sleep peacefully. In an instant, she was slammed by her burlier foe for the umpteenth time. After the impact, her legs immediately dropped accompanied by shut eyelids. Not even a scream this time as her body was seemingly under hibernation.

Wicke looked out of it and Alaina decided to try to capitalize by jumping into the air, splashing down on top of the chest of Wicke! The amazon reached down to hook a leg while pressing her body across Wicke's chest to keep her pressed down to the mat. Alaina was not sure what had done it but the combined offense outside along with her own oldschool slam to the mat could maybe be just enough!

The official saw this and moved in to place immediately to begin the pin count.

"ONE!"

Her opponent couldn't be more cautious in terms of putting her opponent into slumber. While the splash did force the prone woman's body to jump up, not a single peep left that maw, implying that it really was curtains for the currently pinned woman.

"TWO!"

Still no physical response from Wicke. Spectators were able to accept that this was a good run, however the conclusion can't be reached without a full display of their abilities. Just as the official's hand slid across the mat, it would be this specific sound that resonated in Wicke's ear. "Mmmmm..." Becoming more immersed of the world around her instead of dreamland. The warmth in her pressurised chest made Wicke realise she wasn't in the glory days, thus the purplette's lower body in a bid to send Alaina back and kick out of the pin!
