Standard Showdown: Cal Walker vs. Nayla Ameera

Cal groaned a bit, as the blow had worked to take some air out of him and Nayla was quick to take advantage with a cover. The referee counted one, which got Cal's attention as he began to stir upon the second count.

"TWO!"

THe referee counted two, but as the hand was raised for three Cal managed to shoot his muscular shoulder up in a kickout. He avoided taking a loss then and there but clearly the match had taken to Nayla's favor.

Nayla huffed when Cal managed to break the pin after the second count. Though it was obvious that he was weakened by the move that she used on him earlier. Picking herself up, Nayla would roll Cal over onto his belly before she placed herself onto his back, sitting there before she grabbed both his arms, draping them over her knees.

After that, the Lebanese would reach down to Cal's chin, clasping her hands together in a clutch before yanking it back, putting him into a camel clutch. She was sure that her opponent would be having trouble dealing with the pain after taking damage from her Samoan drop earlier.

"Aggghhhh!" Cal managed to groan out as indeed, the impact of the Samoa Drop was a bit much to ask for recovery from when Nayla was quick to press her advantage as she locked in a picture perfect camel clutch and began to really wear down the masked man.

"Do you want to give up!?" The referee asked, quickly on a knee to check for signs of a submission.

"Arrrrrgggg n-no!" Cal cried out, defiant all the same in spite of the pain as he tried to will himself to endure and escape the hold; his aim was to try and shake her off, or if he could, try to extend a hand to a rope for an escape. Though his previously impressive power had been sapped a fair deal by Nayla's offensive.

Nayla would keep Cal in the camel clutch for a little while, draining his strength and weakening him. It looked like Cal was going to make his way towards the ropes. Of course, she didn't plan to give him a moment of respite where she would let go of him from the camel clutch before she grabbed him by his head, forcefully pulling him up and preparing herself for her next move.

Once she got Cal back onto his feet, Nayla would bring her arm across his chest and lift him up before attempting to slam him down into the mat with a powerful uranage. She was certain that the uranage would chip away at his defense more, allowing her to finally pick up the win once Cal was sufficiently weakened.

"Geeerggg...!" Cal again groaned out as the hold took its toll even with Star barking encouragement and of course Cal's own physical nature. Still he managed to get to the ropes only for Nayla to break the hold quickly and force the masked man up as he had little time for recovery.

Cal was pulled into Nayla and while he tried to push off Nayla had more strength in the current moment and managed to flip him over impressively as he crashed on the mat behind a painful urange as he groaned while his body laid splayed on the mat and he clutched the back of his neck in visible pain.

Slamming Cal down with an uranage, Nayla observed her opponent and saw that he was weak enough for her to try finishing him off. Making her way in front of him, she would bend down and grab Cal by his head, shoving it right between her thighs. She was planning to bring this match to an end with a powerful move where she thought that her opponent wouldn't be able to kick out from.

Then, she would wrap her arms around his waist before hoisting him up onto her shoulders. From there, Nayla would try to swing his body down into the mat with a powerbomb, going for a sitout variation of the move. If the move was successful, she would hold onto his legs in a prawn hold as she would keep his shoulders against the mat for a pinfall attempt.

Cal groaned as Nayla put him in position, whatever strength he had left was not enough to prevent the woman from performing this next move. And sadly this next move of hers promised to be quite the impactful one as Nayla was able to lift the masked man up and slammed him back down with a stiff power bomb!

"AGH!"

Cal groaned on impact, and with Nayla working in a combination pin the referee was right there to work on the count.

"One!"

"Two!"

..

"THREE! Ring the bell!"

The referee called for the bell as Cal lacked the strength to get the shoulder up, and Nayla was declared the winner of a hard fought battle!

After powerbombing Cal, Nayla immediately went for the pin, making sure that his shoulders were on the mat. She listened to the referee making the counts, and nodded each time she heard the count. When the referee counted up to three, she let go of Cal's leg, her victory cemented as the bell was rung, signifying the end of the match. She had emerged victorious over her opponent, and she stood tall as the referee raised her arm.

"You did well, but it wasn't enough to defeat me." Nayla would leave Cal a parting word before she left the ring, her music playing from the loudspeakers. With her getting a win under her belt, she was sure that she had taken another step towards greatness. By winning more matches, she would be able to build herself up to become the best in the roster.

Cal groaned as his cute puppy managed to get into the ring and went to comfort him, Star nuzzled as Cal sighed a bit. He had lost, but in truth he had no shame of it, Nayla was just the better woman on this day and he'd use this as a learning experience going forward.

He'd slowly get up after Nayla and took Star with him to the back.
