Isabella Brandt Vs. Reiko Hinomoto - Skies on Fire (Apex Qualifier Match)

[Devastated]

Isabella backed away and allowed Reiko to get away from the ropes. After all she wanted a good contest against Reiko Hinomoto. She had high hopes for the woman in front of her, as someone who was hard working and had a lot to live up to. She wanted the challenges she expected from the daughter of such a prolific wrestler. Hence she was going to give Reiko a chance to prove what she was capable of.

Once Reiko started to circle her, Isabella would return the gesture. Moving around the ring with Reiko and raising her arms, getting ready to square off against the Zero Fighter yet again. Though this time, as Isabella lunged forward to meet with Reiko, the blonde was caught off-guard! As Reiko decided to duck in underneath her arms and away from the grapple. Using her speed to get in behind the blonde before suddenly grabbing at her legs, yanking her off of her feet and forcing Isabella to land flat on her chest and face! "Mph!"

Dropping Isabella with her feint and slip attack, Reiko would quickly capitalize by leaping forward, jumping over to Isabella's side as she would quickly lock in a side headlock. Intent on wrenching on the head to wear out the Flame Tyrant, Reiko would plant her foot into the mat to raise herself off of the mat to generate much torque and pressure on Isabella's head and neck before dropping back down onto the mat.

"You're kinda strong I'll agree, but how is that going to help you on your stomach?" Reiko let out, smiling as she wrenched on the head again for emphasis!

Flat on her front, Isabella would try and place her hands down against the canvas and begin to push herself up. Though Reiko wasn't exactly going to let her just recover like that, as the Japanese wrestler leaped into action! Reaching down and grabbing at Isabella's head and locking in that side headlock!

"Mph..." The blonde grunted out as she was trapped by Reiko, her head being wrenched as the Zero Fighter chose to raise herself off the mat a bit and in doing so forcing Isabella to do the same. She winced out, and would bring her hands to Reiko's arms, trying to pry it off of her head.

Bearing down on the Tyrant with her weight and pressure on the head, Reiko was slowly working over her opponent as she felt the hands prying on hers, trying to break free of the hold. She gritted her teeth, fighting to keep her grip fastened around Isabella's head. But the more she fought, the more she began to realize that Isabella wasn't going to be contained for long at this rate.

Rather than burn energy, Reiko would release the head lock as she spun around on Isabella's back towards her legs. But just because she had to give up the hold, didn't mean she couldn't still pressure the blonde as she tried to seize an ankle! Rolling all the way to the bottom of Isabella's feet, Reiko tried to clutch tightly upon the ankle, pulling it off of the mat and close to her chest as she tried to transition into an ankle lock!

Isabella struggled to free herself from the headlock, shifting and bringing her hands up to grab at Reiko's arms, trying to pry them off of her head. Though as she was busy trying to do that, it looked as if Reiko had other plans. As the Zero Fighter released the headlock and instead chose to roll backwards across the blonde's back! Next thing Isabella knew Reiko had managed to grab a hold of her leg and hauled it up!

Locked into a painful ankle lock as Reiko pulled off her rather smooth transition, Isabella would slam her fist down against the canvas in annoyance. " Nngh...N-not bad..." She grumbled out as Reiko began to wrench on her ankle. Causing her a fair bit of pain in doing so...however the blonde wasn't about to throw in the towel just yet. Trying to rear her free leg back and smack her heel into Reiko's belly for a sudden kick. Looking to surprise and stun Reiko enough to then try and free herself.

Kneeling to lock herself in place for the most amount of pressure to torque on the ankle, Reiko held Isabella's foot close to her chest. Working over one half of her opponent's balance, Reiko knew that she could reap the rewards later in the match when Isabella couldn't work off of her foot, but her opponent was just as effective at escaping the hold as Reiko was putting her into it as the free leg came shooting back right into Reiko's stomach.

Her eyes widened before snapping shut, her spit came flying out of her mouth, her arms weakening around the foot as she hunched over after falling off of her knees and back onto the butt but she still held onto the leg! "Not...so...fast!" she growled out, trying to rise up to her feet and pulled on the leg. Unable to straightened fully from the blow to the gut, Reiko still tried to salvage the ankle lock!

Slamming her boot into Reiko's belly seemed like a good start. It forced Reiko to drop down onto her ass and as she did Isabella would try and pull her leg free. Though to her surprise Reiko still had a firm hold of her foot and ankle. Throwing her head back and turning it to look at Reiko, she watched the Japanese fighter rise up! Clicking her tongue as she tried to reapply the ankle lock...Isabella would curse out a bit under her breath.

Isabella would place her hands one the canvas, pushing up her body from the mat and then tried to rocket up her free leg again! This time she wouldn't go for Reiko's belly though! She would try and send her free leg up as a mule kick to add momentum to a roll forward! Trying to pull Reiko along with her and send the Zero Fighter towards the ropes.

Standing up on her feet, Reiko had more leverage to wrench on the ankle and additional pressure of all of Isabella's weight pulling down from her grasp to increase the level of punishment. But the additional gain for pressure was traded off for balance as Isabella showed as she pushed herself off of the mat, managing her body weight distribution and used it for great effect as she rolled forward!

Reiko was pulled forward from her tight grip on the foot, forced to tuck and roll over Isabella as she landed on the mat. Having a sense of her own control of her body, Reiko rolled through up onto her feet as she stumbled back first into the ropes!

[Devastated]

Throwing herself forward and tucking into a roll, Isabella sent Reiko along with her and kicked her off towards the ropes! Watching Reiko roll through and up to her feet. Isabella would quickly rise up and try to take to a run straight away! Her foot was hurting a bit but she needed to reclaim the advantage. Jumping up as she would try and slam her feet straight into Reiko's chest and nail her with a quick running dropkick!

She aimed to try and send Reiko out through the ropes and flop onto the outside area. Though even if all she did was stun or take Reiko's breath away she would be more than okay with that.

As Reiko turned around, she would turn right into the feet of Isabella crashing into her chest, air rushing out of her lungs as she was forced back, slipping through the ropes. Tumbling off of the apron, Reiko hit the apron on the way down as the hardest part of the ring was unsympathetic to her body as her face cringed. She held her shoulder and arm, taking the brunt of the hit as she stumbled to catch her balance on the outside.
