Sophie smiled as she laced up her boots. It had been a while since her last real match, and that match was with some guy who couldn't stop drooling long enough to put up a real fight. This time the powers that be put her up against a debuting woman. She was content with this, as she had a hankering for a real match for a while now. She got the cue to enter and came out to a pretty positive response:

Compared to the deluge of odd characters that LAW has in its ranks, some might see Sophie as basic, but, she had a perfect record (1-0) coming into this, so, she must be doing something right. Not really one for pomp and circumstance, she simply smiled and waved at the audinance before taking her corner and waiting for her opponent to enter...

Akari was a tad nervous but she was EXCITED above all else. She was about to have her very first match in LAW and she was absolutely pumped. She had her game face on, shadow boxing and stretching in the backstage area, watching the amazing display of the crowd on a screen as her opponent made her entrance. She looked nice, like a really pleasant gal. Akari couldn't wait to face her, she'd give her all and fight til the end...she had a statement to make: She was here to contend with the greats...and this match would show that. With that said, her entrance theme played and she exploded onto the scene like a firework with her headphones and customized letterman jacket as the announcer called her name.

"...and her opponent, hailing from Tokyo, Japan...debuting in LAW for the first time...she's the most marvelous DJ, Dancer, and Wrestler in the entire ocean...Akari Ito!!! The Sea Turtle!!!"

Akari grooved to the rhythm of her entrance theme like she always had, showing off her dance moves as she warmed up on her way to the ring. Jumping up onto the apron, posing sexily, blowing kisses to the crowd, and in a display of athleticism...she leaped clean over the top ropes for a backflip, landing on her feet in a terrific display, nailing the landing and striking a pose.

"C'MON LAW, LET'S GET EXCITED!!!!!" She boomed, hyping the crowd up more. "I. CAN'T. HEAR YOU!!!!" The crowd got even MORE excited. "ALLLLLLL-RIGHTTTT!!!!" She roared, then turning towards Sophie, giving her a wink and a wave.

Sophie Lee raised an eyebrow at her opponent's entrance, she was certainly full of energy, that was for certain. And "The Sea Turtle" This girl was definitely unique, she'll give her that. Maybe she was simply excited about her debut, after all, Sophie was excited for her debut as well. At least the crowd was into it. She hated a dead crowd more than anything. She nodded back at her opponent's gesture, and gestured herself for the ref to ring the bell already. The bell was rung, and the match was on! Sophie, still not sure what to make of her opponent, decided to start simple, and go for a lockup if anything to try and feel out her opponent...

Akari happily engaged in the lockup with Sophie, going for a classic Collar-and-Elbow hold as she forced herself against Sophie, trying to push against her and take an early lead by overpowering her. Right now, her strategy was to wear Sophie down, get some momentum going, and build towards a solid signature move in order to really dish out some damage. First, she would need to try and dominate the Canadian in this opening test of strength and technical skill.

It seemed that Akari was more than happy to oblidge in the lockup, and they both found themselves pushing and pulling at each other, jockeying for position, however, they both seemed to run into the same issue: Their strength was just about equal, and they seemed to be at a stalemate. Slightly frustrated, Sophie would attempt a knee to the gut, if only to get SOMETHING going...

The knee lands!!! Akari grunts, letting out a brief cough and trying to hold firm in position. She began to slip a bit but dug her heels in and tried to force Sophie back, wanting to transition into a Headlock if possible, as long as Sophie didn't try to knee her in the gut again.

Her knee worked, and, although it was tempting to spank Akari, it wasn't that kind of match, so Sophia simply ax handled her opponent across the back, hoping to make her hit the canvas, if this was successful, she would go down to where Akari had fallen, and lock her in a body scissors, hoping to start to wear down the Sea Turtle...

Akari was driven down to the canvas after feeling Sophie's clasped fists strike down on her back in a harsh Axe Handle. She fell to one knee, soon collapsing over onto her side and rolling onto the back, writhing in pain for a second before sitting up, only to immediately be caught by surprise, feeling Sophie's legs wrap around her, feeling them tighten around her for a Body Scissors. She blushed a bit, feeling the hold squeeze her midsection, feeling pain in her abdomen and ribs as she groaned aloud, trying to pry Sophie's legs off first.

Sophie raised an eyebrow for a split second, did she see her opponent...blush? Did she like being squeezed? Sophie knew that it was WAY too early to try for a submission, so she gave a few more squeezes before deciding to let go, as her opponent was getting close to prying her legs open anyway. Sophie wasn't deterred, however, and soon pushed Akari on her back, and if this was successful, she would dig her fingers in her belly with an abdominal claw, hoping to further wear down her opponent.

Akari groans, a bit embarrassed at the fact that her blush was seen by Sophie. She tries to resist the next few squeezes as her body felt Sophie's legs crush her a little more. She couldn't hide the fact that she was blushing, that was obvious, so she just had to try her best to not look like a masochist...despite there being something underlying there. She groaned upon being shoved to the canvas on her back, writhing in pain but seeing Sophie move into position...She got an idea.

She saw Sophie raise her hand up in a claw-like fashion, and that was when Akari made her move. She grabbed Sophie's arm and twisted around while on the canvas, trying to rotate Sophie around and reverse her move. If things went well, she'd force Sophie into a nicely tightened Fujiwara Armbar.
