Sakura took a deep breath as she bounced on her heels by the entrance ramp. Dressed in her white and red one piece outfit she would have a look of confidence, with twinges of apprehension present as well as she prepared herself for the bout ahead. Today she would be participating in a Apex Qualifier Match. An event that she honestly wasn't sure she'd be participating in, but as it turned out she was speacially requested for the match, and she was never one to disappoint! Spoiler
But what made her apprehensive was the opponent she had been slated against for this major bout. Emaline, 'The Emerald Viper' a name that truly fit the woman based on Sakura's research. From what she could tell the girl was vicious and cruel, an opponent that would be difficult to fight against without doubt. However Emaline wouldn't be the first person Sakura fought that used dirty tricks and she wouldn't be the last. So with one last slap on the cheeks to hype herself up Sakura would nod and step out as her entrance music started. Spoiler
Skipping out onto the ring Sakura would smile out at the crowd as they exploded into cheers for her. Smiling and waving happily at the crowd Sakura would begin to run down to the ring, high fiving the fans on her path as she did so. Approaching the ring Sakura would leap up and twirl over the top rope, landing into the ring with a roll Sakura would pop to her feet with a smile on her face and a pose for the fans who cheered in response for the impressive entrance. Walking to her corner Sakura would lean on her knees as she waited for her opponent to come down.
While Sakura made her entrance, Emaline waited within the locker rooms along with the rest of her stablemates. Not that she heeded them any mind. Instead, she diverted her attention to appraising her appearance on the mirror and combing her vibrant pink hair. Her outfit was equally as gaudy as her hair; a neon green two-piece highlighted by pink accents. Appearance Reference
After stroking her hair one last time, she finally addressed her friends. "Your presence here is more of a formality than a necessity." She stated in a nonchalant tone. "Do not, interfere save for the absolute worst case scenario." "Goddit!" Yoro chirped. "Yes..." Shira acquiesced.
The Viper smiled softly and nodded at both women. Soon enough, a LAW official arrived to call her to the ring. With another nod of her head, the Emerald Enclave moved out. Entrance Theme
The speakers blasted her music as she stepped out onto the stage at the head of the Enclave. She sauntered down the ramp, her poise just as elegant yet concieted as ever. The usual audience reaction of boos with the few rare cheers echoed across the stands though she largely feigned ignorance of the crowds, only sparing a couple slight smirks at most.
In stark contrast Yoro, jogged about and high-fived everyone who crossed her way, sparking pops from even the staunchest of Emaline's detractors. Meanwhile, Shira tenativeley shuffled behind both ladies though she tried her best to mimick her stable leader's aura of gravitas and sometimes even mustered a smile or wave.
Both Enclave members remained by the ringside, leaving Emaline alone to enter the ring. She ascended the ring apron, grabbed the top ropes, and gracefully yet lethargically backflipped into the ring. Placing both her hands behind her back, she strolled towards her opponent yet neglected to say anything. Just a self-important grin shot in Sakura's direction.

Sakura immediately perked her attention upwards and focused in on the entrance music now playing on the speakers as her opponent came down the ramp with an entourage. 'That's never a good sign...' Sakura thought to herself recognizing the inherent danger that came when you're opponent had friends on the outside and you didn't, if she wasn't careful this could very quickly turn into a three on one affair.
As it stood though once her opponent entered the ring and approached her Sakura would narrow her eyes. 'This type.' Sakura thought, immediately getting bad vibes from the entitled smile on her face. Stepping forward to meet her Sakura wore a steely face of determination as she did so,closing the distance until the two were nearly in eachothers faces. "Let's have a good match." Sakura said with a nod of acknowledgement to the girl, more than what Emaline offered Sakura, but really it was her way of confirming the suspicions she already held towards the girl.
"Hmph." Emaline scoffed dismissively, her hands remaining behind her back. "I apologise but I have to admit that that is quite an uninspiring thing to say." She spoke in such a polite manner that in came off as patronising. "Regardless, this encounter should be very entertaining on my end. You are a stepping stone of some renown, after all."
No matter how Sakura responded, the Viper followed up by presenting two open palms and confidently issuing a challenge. "Very well, face me in a test of strength." However, the test of strength offer was a mere ruse. Should her opponent fall for it and lock hands with her, she would hop up and snap her legs shut around Sakura's waist for a bodyscissors.
Sakura had held her hand out and offered kind words to Emaline only to be met with polite dismissal. Frankly though Sakura just couldn't help but feel patronized and insulted as she lowered her hand. At being called a stepping stone however thats when her pretty face fully morphed into a glare towards the girl. "Well at least I'm of some renown." Sakura said sarcastically in response, already not liking the girl as the bell rang starting the match.
Glaring into the hands offered to her Sakura would reach out to accept the offered test of strength. "Bring it." Sakura said, eager to prove the woman wrong before Sakura suddenly found a powerful pair of legs wrapped around her! "Ugh! Agh!" Groaning in pain from the squeeze Sakura would squeeze tightly onto Emaline's hands, holding onto them still before she surprisingly grinned at the girl despite pain clearly being all over her face.
"Bad call." Sakura said as she darted forward towards the corner, holding onto Emaline's hands to keep her from escaping. If successful Sakura would slam Emaline back first into the corner! If successful than Sakura would drop Emaline's hands and reach up, wrapping her arms around the woman's shoulders. If successful than Sakura would leap backwards, twisting herself around as she did so to slam Emaline back first again, this time into the mat with a belly to belly suplex!
Emaline sneered when her ploy succeeded, allowing her to easily cinch in a bodyscissors. However, her expression froze and faltered when Sakura also smiled. "Hmm?.." The Viper couldn't help raising an eyebrow. "What are you-wah?!" Before she knew it, her opponent took off, carrying her along for the ride.
The intended effect of holding onto Sakura's hands to prevent her from prying herself free of the bodyscissors backfired horribly on Emaline. That combined with indecision and shock clouding her mind prevented her from doing anything about her current predicament. "Gwak!" A hoarse cry escaped her lips as she crashed into the turnbuckles.
Her grip loosened from the impact, she unwrapped her legs around the idol wrestler's waist and let go of her hands. The Viper would have collapsed to the canvas had it not been for Sakura. "Eh?" Emaline mumbled confusedly before the world spun and she once again crashed, this time onto the ground. "Augh!" The belly-to-belly suplex rendered her as a limp heap, dazedly staring up at the lights.
Success! Sakura managed to successfully drive her opponent back first into the corner before turning and doubling down on ehr attack to send Emaline flat on her back against the mat with a belly to belly suplex! "Didn't expect that now did you?" Sakura asked playfully as she sat up while looking down at the girl beneath her, confidence brimming thanks to the position she now held over the pink haired girl.
'Now lets try this.' Sakura thought to herself as she slid her hands under Emaline's legs and lifted them up, folding the woman in half as Sakura pushed herself up as well, pressing herself against the girl's legs to add weight and pin her down to the mat! Granted Sakura knew there was a time limit for the match, and if she did get the pin here, than the match wouldn't fully count as a qualifier.
...But Sakura wasn't registered in Apex. So it didn't make one bit of difference for her if the match counted or not, giving her a unique kind of advantage as she looked down at her opponent with a confident smirk, the ref sliding down to count the surprise pin attempt!
Sakura took advantage of Emaline's downed state and folded her up for the pin, prompting her to let out a confused "huh?" Hearing the referee start the count spurred her into action. But rather than trying to directly contest the idol wrestler, the Viper shifted her bodyweight weight and rolled backwards to attempt slipping out of the pin instead.
"Impetuous wretch." She hissed contempteously as she swiftly rolled onto her feet before she charged at Sakura. Emaline threw her leg out and twisted her hips midrun, perfectly executing a roundhouse kick. And even if the kick missed, she used her spinning momentum to instantly follow up with another kick using her other leg. For this kick, she ducked low for a legsweep.

Sakura had successfully gotten the first few good hits on her opponent, really showing out against the woman as despite the match just starting Sakura would fold Emaline up in a rather dominant looking pin attempt on the pinkette! Smirking as she did so Sakura expected Emaline to exert some energy with a big kick out.
Instead though Sakura found herself nearly falling over when the girl just rolled out of her grip. "Huh?" She said looking up in surprise, only to be met with a foot to the face!
"Agh!" Immediately crying out in pain fro the kick Sakura would stand up, rocked by the blow and unknowingly making it easy for Emaline follow up as her feet were taken out from under her! "Ugh!" Sakura grunted as her ass hit the mat, holding her jaw in pain and clearly stunned by the move!
"Hmph." Emaline scoffed dismissively upon laying Sakura out. "I will admit that you possess a notable amount of spunk." The Viper declared imperiously as she placed her hands behind her back and sauntered around her opponent's body. "It shall ensure that the sight of your eyes rolling into the back of your head will be a very pleasurable experience."
She ended her short monologue with a cartwheel, ending on her hands instead of her feet for a handstand. Rather ominously for Sakura, Emaline aligned herself with the idol wrestler's exposed abdomen. Seconds later, the pinkette fell forwards and pulled her knees up, attempting a flashy albeit still devastating handstand knee drop aimed at Sakura's stomach.
