Therapy session in the ring! Barbara Vs. Doc Fabulous

The low blow had been half unintentional, as Barbara couldn't tell exactly where her kick would land. She had an idea, of course, and she was perfectly OK with landing that kind of hit on her opponent (especially as Doc Fabulous became a little patronizing towards the end), but even Barbara felt a little bad once she saw the good doctor clutching her nether as she crumpled to the mats.

The idol didn't immediately press her advantage. She turned to face Doc Fabulous, rolling out her shoulder to get rid of the pain and kinks put in through that shoulder lock. "Well, you're right Doc," Barbara said, "I've worked my hardest, and I'm not happy. So I guess it's time to change things up isn't it?"

With that, Barbara raised her leg and sent it forward, aiming a big boot right into Doc Fabulous's chest to knock the air from her lungs and send her sprawling onto her back! If successful, the idol would then leap up, dropping down butt-first onto Doc Fabulous's gut to knock all the remaining air out of her, before shuffling forward to secure the doctor's arms underneath her legs in a schoolgirl pin!

Doc Fabulous looked angry the more that Barbara spoke. She was not about to let this girl get away with hurting her like that with a low blow. She winced though, mouth knit tight. And just when she was ready to retort to the Idol, she was hit with a boot straight to the chest, falling onto her back with a yell. "Grrrah!" Closing her eyes tight from the pain, she wasn't even aware of the next move until it had already hit her with the entire weight of Barbara landing on her midsection!

The psychiatrist's eyes shot open in shock as she gasped out loudly, then continued to gasp for air, cringing underneath her opponent with a pain-stricken expression on her face. Then, she felt her shoulders be pinned down by her foe's legs, and the count came.

Summoning her strength, Doc Fab was able to shove and buck Barbara off of her before rolling onto her side, then her front, holding her ailing stomach. It hurt to kick out of that pin, but it was a struggle she had to go through to stay in the match, so she could get that girl back for what she did.

Barbara thought her combination of attacks would be enough to put the doctor out. And she was close too, seeing the referee get almost to the count of three before suddenly getting forced off by Doc Fabulous. "Woah!" Barbara gasped, falling to the side. She rolled with the momentum, getting up to one knee as she watched Doc Fabulous slowly recover.

"Looks like you've got more fight in you," Barbara said, "You're right Doc, you really do work hard!" She gave Doc Fabulous a small smile that was meant to be more than a little patronizing.

Barbara slid back over to Doc Fabulous, grabbing her by her blonde hair to pull her up to a sitting position. "I've given you quite a lot of material to work with doctor," Barbara said as she slid an arm around Doc Fabulous's neck, "So, what's your diagnosis?" With that she tightened, locking in a sleeper hold that cut off the doctor's words as well as all her air!

Scowling as she tried to pull herself up, she ignored Barbara's words at first. That is, until she was grabbed to ber hair and turned into a sitting position. Doc Fab had to guess what would come next in a split moment as Barbara started to try locking in a Sleeper Hold.

Instinctively, she moved a hand to place space between Barbara's arm so she couldn't lock it in fully, her technical IQ being savvy enough to ensure she could weather the hold. "My diagnosis..." started the psychiatrist.

"Is that you're an insecure... sad girl. Who is so tired of having to prove something... She now wants to take the shortcut way out," said Doc Fab, trying to start standing now, getting to one knee. "And you will be very lost when this doesn't help you either!" yelled Doc Fab as she got to a bent over position.

She would then start to fire elbow strikes with her free arm right at the midsection of her opponent, hoping that eventually she could get Barbara to relent on the hold.

Feeling Doc Fabulous's arm get in the way of her locking in her sleeper hold, Barbara clicked her tongue. She really wanted to shut the doctor up with a nice tight choke. But with the doctor holding her arm back, it left enough space for her to keep on breathing and keep on talking. And what she said cut Barbara deep.

The idol's blue eyes widened as Doc Fabulous gave a diagnosis that hit right on the head. Barbara was insecure and sad, the idol knew as much. And she was tired of having to prove herself to other people. But the part that really got her was the last bit, about wanting to take the shortcut way out. It rang true to Barbara, but the idol never thought of what she was doing that way. Did she feel like this because she knew she wasn't putting in the effort?

"GUH!" the idol's musings got cut off by a sharp elbow straight into her exposed belly. Two more hits came in before the idol let go, quickling rolling back to avoid taking any more damage. She winced as she held her gut, feeling a sore spot on her abs.

"Good diagnosis doc, you got me there," Barbara admitted, acknowledging Doc Fabulous's perceptiveness. She pushed up to her feet, letting the doctor reset as well to begin the next round of this fight.

After enough elbows, Barbara had released the hold and Doc Fabulous fell to a knee again, holding her neck. Her body was still aching in general, but she kept a narrow gaze on Barbara, as she stood, walking directly at her. "Good diagnosis...?" she asked rhetorically. The Doctor scoffed. "I don't need a degree to tell that when you wear it so obviously on your sleeve. When so much of what you do is clearly a coping mechanism," said Fabulous rather coldly, getting right into her face.

"Have you considered maybe that is why you're taking advantage of? Why your fans turn on you? Because of how clear it is?" she gave Barbara's shoulder a shove with one hand, with tempered anger brewing. "That's why you do. The. Work. And you don't take shortcuts. Because every single person you want to prove something to will see right through it."

And, a moment later, she would fire a knee towards Barbara's midsection before trying to Irish Whip her across the ring, hoping to kickstart the match back again.

Evidently Doc Fabulous did not take Barbara's cheap shot well, as her entire demeanor changed from that point onwards. Gone was all her bedside manner and encouraging words, to be replaced with a coldness that stunned the idol. The doctor's presence towered over Barbara, even though they were very close in height Barbara felt like a small little girl being scolded by her teacher. Her mouth opened and closed, lacking the words to retort against the doctor's harsh but fair words. She was right about everything, Barbara was doing all this to cope, and that was why in spite of everything she was still looked down upon.

"Guh!" Barbara gasped, Doc Fabulous's knee burying into her gut. She had put up no defense at all, not even tightening her abs to absorb the blow. It knocked the wind out of her, doubling her over. The doctor then whipped her across the ring, not letting the idol fall over as she got tossed into the ropes, rebounding and then running back at the doctor.

Barbara had recovered some of her senses at this point. Even though her gut ached, she needed to counter. So as she ran back, she jumped into the air, hoping to score a body splash across the doctor's body to send her tumbling over onto her back!

Doctor Fabulous had made her point very clear as she had seemed to stun her opponent to silence. The knee to the gut had also helped with that. She wasn't about to give Barbara any give to try something dirty again, especially if she was upset at her. As Barbara rebounded and shot back at her, Doc Fab would assume a prepared position, hunching over with her hands on her knees. "Nothing changes until you start to be honest with yourself, and you want to put in the work for the better!" shouted the psychiatrist.

She could tell Barbara was coming at her with a move. A simple one, it looked like. But Fabulous was absolutely prepared for such a thing. Using Barbara's momentum against her, she would grab and spin her and then slam her down across her outstretched knee in a Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker she calls Diagnosis, hoping to absolutely pop the spine of her opponent!

The body splash was the only move Barbara could pull off in her winded and unbalanced state. Jumping up, she hoped she'd be able to catch the doctor by surprise and flatten her. That hope got cruelly dashed when instead of knocking Doc Fabulous over, Barbara got caught in mid-air! The doctor then used her momentum to spin her around, before dropping her down backfirst across her knee in a devastating backbreaker!

"GAH!" Barbara gasped, her blue eyes opening wide in shock after taking the huge blow to her spine. Her back bent into a c-shape over the doctor's knee, showing Barbara's flexibility while also showing just how hard she had taken the impact. As pain flooded her, Barbara's eyes rolled back in her head and her head slumped over backwards, the idol going still for a moment as the pain stunned her. She remained stretched out across the knee of the doctor, her entire body exposed for Doc Fabulous to continue her punishment!

Up and around Barbara went until she slammed on Doc Fab's knee. The psychiatrist heaved a sigh and then blew a strand of hair out of her face as she kept her opponent stretched over her knee. "Being happy isn't easy, even for those is appears to come easy to. Just like becoming great at your craft. If something isn't working, it needs to be changed. That applies to everything, and that is fine," explained the Doctor before shoving Barbara's body upward, allowing her to fall on her behind, back against her leg.

Doc Fab would then grab hold of both of Barbara's arms. "So go ahead and keep putting band-aid fixes on your problems. Do half-measures. But it will just bring you right back," elaborated Fabulous. Then, she would attempt to roll back and try placing her feet on Barbara's spine, hoping to put her in a painful Surfboard Stretch and work over that back even more!
