Marzia Servelli [D] vs. Katsumi Oshiro

Katsumi hit the ground under Marzia, and at that moment did the Italian girl know it was her moment to shine. She looked quite sufficiently dazed, especially knowing she hadn't even had the energy to fight off Marzia's efforts to get her to the ground. Which meant that the holds had served their purpose. Now it was time to move in for the kill.

Throwing herself on top of Katsumi with a surprising speed driven by her strive for victory, Marzia hooked her leg and went for the pin! The referee slid down beside them, getting into position to start counting. "One!"

Katsumi lets out a croak of a grunt when Marzia's weight lands over her. But she soon finds her breath enough to emit a low groan, her eyes falling shut. Her slender, smooth leg is gathered and drawn into the air, secured in the pin. She hears the first count sound off. It'd be pretty easy just to lie here under the other girl and let herself recuperate. Her back would thank her. Heck, her front would thank her now, too. Her body is in plenty of pain to go around.

No match is a throwaway. No match can be a throwaway if she wants to be anything more than another face in the crowd! She's never done any less than giving her everything in the ring, from the first day she'd ever wrestled! That won't change now!

"Two!"

"Haahhn!," the punkette cries out, eyes squeezing shut and body twisting, forcing her hips to turn and her shoulder to lift off the mat. She's not up to shoving Marzia off completely yet, but it'll be enough to halt the referee-girl's progression. "We're not.. done yet.."

The count abruptly ceased as Katsumi managed to get her shoulder up, breaking the pin. Marzia's green eyes briefly went wide at the sight - she had been confident she was onto something with this move. But it seemed as though Katsumi had managed to draw on the strength she needed, against all odds, to push through and repel Marzia's best efforts. She was so in shock by this that she needed to be reminded by the referee to get up. "Er, right..." Marzia said, getting back and heading back over to her side of the ring. Not wanting to appear too weak in front of Katsumi, though, she took on a stance, trying to lock eyes with her opponent and stare her down.

However long it takes Marzia to get off of Katsumi, the Punk Princess remains twisted against her to keep her shoulder off the mat. It's a strain along her core muscles, but if she let go now, she may wind up in an even worse position. Thankfully it doesn't come to that, and Katsumi allows herself to drop flat to her back again for a second. Her hand sets briefly over her chest just above her bust, taking in as much air as she can as quickly as she can. But she only allows herself a couple bare seconds before she's at it again, twisting opposite Marzia.

She ends on all fours, and quickly pulls up to her feet. By this point, her exposed skin has taken a glisten, thanks to a light sheen of sweat. She meets Marzia's gaze with a steely look of her own, lips drawn into a tight, humorless frown. She hunches forward, her left forearm propping over her left knee, as if preparing to charge her. When she advances, it's with purpose. Each step is a determined stomp across the mat, and the lockup she attempts to catch Marzia in is forceful from the outset. She isn't interested in a contest of strength or trying to bear her down. Rather, if she can grab onto her foe, her immediate course of action is to attempt immediately overwhelming her with a hard shove back towards the turnbuckle, pursued with a stiff toe-kick aimed for her exposed stomach!

Marzia braced herself, getting down and keeping her stance wide in the hopes of bracing herself against the forceful impact. Watching Katsumi approach her, it was quite clear to the girl just what she was up against, and how she would have to be careful. For just a brief moment, Marzia's composure started to break, and she let herself tremble ever so slightly. No doubt her failure to pin Katsumi had planted the seeds of self-doubt in her head, and seeing what her opponent had in store for her next wouldn't help with her concern much.

As Katsumi tried to pull Marzia into a lockup, she went to match her move, grabbing for her shoulders to try and even up the mutual grapple. Unfortunately for the Italian, Katsumi wasn't going for that. Not prepared for the momentum hitting her, Marzia skidded back a short distance. Although she managed to keep a hold on Katsumi, it wouldn't do her much good, as she soon felt her back hitting the turnbuckle, and leaving her dazed. Shortly thereafter, Katsumi's foot shot right into her stomach, eliciting from Marzia a cry of pain as she released her hold on her opponent, then doubled forward, clutching her belly.

Naturally, Marzia is fighting back. Katsumi would've expected no less. She might hope for completely overwhelming her opponent, but maybe that level of struggle will make the whole thing more enjoyable for the audience. Beating this girl is extremely important, but the audience getting their money's worth is, too.

Her boot sinks into her opponent's stomach, and she admires her handiwork with a wicked smirk. She's aching, sore, and her body is a little on the worn, stretched side, but she's still very in the fight, and everything from her body language to the rough way she handles her foe reinforces it. She snaps her left arm around Marzia's neck just beneath her jaw, letting her shoulder tuck against her stomach. Her right fist thrusts into the air to herald her intentions, and she suddenly pops into the air! Her legs kick out and swing inwards, letting herself drop dramatically to her back on the mat while driving the top of Marzia's skull against the mat in an implant DDT!

Perhaps in time, Katsumi would learn. Marzia's greatest asset in the ring may not have been her size, strength, speed, or her self-confidence, but if nothing else, she had her sheer force of will and refusal to give up. Katsumi could come at her all she wanted to, but Marzia wasn't going to roll over and let her. It was only the harshest and most brutal of Katsumi's moves that wouldn't be met by resistance.

At this point, though, Marzia wasn't in much of a place to resist. She felt the arm tightening around her neck, and before she could even finish gritting her teeth in anticipation for the coming blow, she was thrown head-first to the mat beneath her. A sharp gasp escaped her lips, and the rest of her body soon collapsed with a low thud in turn. Though the Italian's head was spinning, and the pain in her temples was still throbbing, she shot a glare back at Katsumi all the same, hoping to send a message to the Punk Princess that she was still in this to win.

Katsumi isn't kipping up to her feet after that one. Rather instead, she just turns over to ensure Marzia is rolled over onto her back and facing the ceiling. The referee moves in close, with Katsumi easily poised to lay over her foe for the pin, but the ropes not that far. Keeping an eye out for a rope break would be critical! But the Punk Princess has other things in mind. She sees the glare from Marzia and returns it sharply. Without a word of sass, she lifts to her feet again.

A boot stomps towards Marzia's belly, and she attempts to kick off from her onto the lower rope. Grabbing the top rope, she bounces back from the bottom and thrusts her legs out before releasing the top! The end result is a springboard body splash, her toned belly aimed to slam directly across Marzia's stomach!

Still reeling a fair degree from the bump, Marzia turned onto her back, but still kept her gaze on her opponent. Letting Katsumi get out of her sight, she knew, was never going to be a smart thing to do. However, there wasn't too much she could do about it, as she got a boot straight into her gut for her efforts. That sent her reeling back into the canvas with a cough as the air was again kicked out of her lungs, priming her right up for the next move of Katsumi's.

The momentum proved sufficient for her to catapult herself onto the ropes, and she was perfectly set up to land her splash straight on top of the dazed Italian girl. Held down against Katsumi's weight, Marzia buckled forward with a shrill scream, her head and legs leaving the mat from the sheer force of the impact before settling back down.

The impact of her stomach slamming across Marzia's was a satisfying one, even welcoming the ache that comes with landing belly-first over anything shy of a cushy bed. She remains atop her foe as her body settles flat on the mat again, and the referee seems at the ready! Katsumi knows she's close to the edges of the ring. Maybe Marzia doesn't. Following the impact, the Punk Princess arches her back inwards to press her midriff hard against Marzia's, her elbows propping her upper-body and her legs spread out back for better balance.

"Get in here, ref'!," she cries.

The hapless referee-girl drops to her knees beside the pair and raises a hand. It comes back down firmly beside Marzia's head. "One!"
