Battle after the interview! Barbara vs. Casey Kiernan [D]

Now that Barbara had Casey in a submission hold, there was no way she was going to just let go. She bent Casey back as far as she could, crushing the girl's lower back as she tried to deal as much damage in as short a time as possible. Because Barbara knew she wouldn't be able to hold Casey forever. She could feel the girl dragging them closer and closer towards the ropes.

"You embarrassed me as an idol Casey!" Barbara replied, "An idol! I'm supposed to be perfect in the eyes ofy fans, and you ruined it! And you expect me to just be OK with that?"

Seeing Casey getting close to the ropes, Barbara decided now was time to transition her hold. Releasing the pressure on Casey's back, the idol instead grabbed Casey's ankles and forcible dragged the girl towards the center of the ring! "No rope break for you!" Barbara snarled as she dragged Casey away from the ropes, then locked one of her legs under her arm before pulling back to torture the girl some more with a single-leg Boston Crab!

As Casey half-heartedly tried crawling to the ropes, hating that this was feeling entirely too much like a wrestling match, she listened to Barbara's words and groaned out loudly again. "I kinda expected you to be okay... with... it...!" she exclaimed swiping her hand repeatedly towards the bottom rope, just barely missing it.

Then, Kiernan felt the hold be relaxed and she sighed in relief, hanging her head until she felt Barbara start pulling her away towards the center of the ring. This time, the interviewer still didn't bother trying to stop it, rolling her eyes. "Seriously...?" she said, sounding irritated. Then, she felt her leg be yanked up and she gasped in pain at the single-leg Boston Crab. "Ah! Ah! You're bending my leg a lot!" yelled Casey, stating the complete obvious to her opponent as she went for her sloth-like crawl towards the ropes again.

"And... if you wanted to look perfect in the eyes of fans..." groaned out the debutant, wiggling her fingers towards the ropes as her leg and taut midsection were being stretched. "Then maybe... try... being... perfect? Instead of... not?" suggested Kiernan, making more headway towards those ropes.

"Yeah, seriously!" Barbara said as she dragged Casey to the center of the ring. It was a bit of an unfair move, as a more sportsmanlike fighter would have allowed her opponent to get to the ropes. After all, she had put in all that effort to get to the edge of the ring for the break. But Barbara wasn't interested in playing fair, she wanted to torture Casey and weaken her as much as possible, before putting her into the humiliation finisher that got her fired from being an idol!

"This is only the beginning Casey!" Barbara said through gritted teeth, pulling on her leg hard as she locked in the single-leg Boston Crab as hard as she could, "You're punishment has just started, the good stuff is yet to come!" She wrenched back hard as Casey began dragging herself over to the edge of the ring, seeking to torture her more and more as she got closer to the ropes and freedom.

Then Casey said something that really cut Barbara to the core. "Try to... be perfect?" Barbara said. She lowered her head and fell silent. The crowd heard what Casey said and let out a loud "Oooooooooo". They knew that was something that crossed a line for the idol.

"You're saying I'm not perfect?!" Barbara screeched, "How dare you say that!" In a fit of anger, she pulled back hard, leaning back to put a massive amount of pressure on her back right before Casey could grab ahold of the ropes and get some relief.

Casey flapped her arm frantically as her foot started to get ready to pat her on the head from the angle that Barbara was stretching her at this point. Letting out a squeaking groan of pain, she was finally able to make that last inch to grab the bottom rope! "Okay! Okay! Okay! Let go!" hollered Kiernan as the referee admonished Barbara, calling for the break. Eventually, the interviewer was released and she let out a huff of relief. Now, she was starting to feel just how angry this girl was as her back and leg were burning in pain.

Gritting her teeth, Casey placed a hand on her back and then strung her arm on the middle rope, looking back at Barbara with an exasperated expression. "Wha--You're... like... not perfect! Nobody's perfect--Ow. Nobody's perfect! I'm not perfect! And I'm fine!" she yelled, flailing her free arm before biting her lip and pulling herself upright with an arm hugging the top rope.

"And that like... really hurt too! But I bet if it were perfect I probably would've tapped out. Like if a perfect person did it, and not an imperfect, bratty, dress-up doll that couldn't even cut it as an idol!" barked Casey in retaliation, giving Barbara an angry look. And then, in a moment, she realized exactly what she said, eyes going a bit wide, wincing and then adding, "...You're... a cutie pie... though..." Casey would then smile awkwardly, offering her a thumbs up.

Even after Casey grabbed onto the rope, Barbara maintained her hold for a while longer, punishing the blonde interviewer a bit extra for her transgressions. She did let go though after the referee came again to admonish her, holding up her hands and acting all innocent, like she had no idea that Casey had the ropes in her hand. The referee forced her to back off and give Casey time to recover, and though Barbara wanted to continue pressuring her opponent, under the ref's watchful gaze she had to take a step back.

Barbara would have been content to let Casey get up before beginning the next round, but the interviewer had to open her big mouth and insult Barbara one last time. She realized what she had said though and tried to apologize, but that just infuriated the idol even more.

At this point Barbara was nothing more than a blonde ball of pure rage. Seething, she pushed the referee aside. "Someone like you has no right to judge me!" she said, raising a foot to stomp down on Casey's chest to throw her back against the ropes before she could get up. "I put in effort and actually try! You, on the other hand, are just a lazy idiot!"

Casey Kiernan had enjoyed her short reprieve, at least until Barbara was back on her, furiously. Putting up a hand in a weak attempt to stop her opponent who had stomped her in the chest, making her hiss in pain, covering her chest before she was thrown back against the ropes. "I am not an idiot," objected Casey firmly, defending at least half of that accusation. Despite her laziness, she had at least that amount of self-respect for herself.

"Maybe if this is your best trying you should give up too though! You might like it! Nobody expects anything from you!" said Kiernan, in what was both a veiled insult and a defense of her own lifestyle. She at least thought she had it figured out as best she could.

"And another thing," started Casey before attempting to grab hold of Barbara in a front facelock, trying to use that distraction to spring off the ropes behind her and then come down with a Tornado DDT! Barbara seemed easily distracted at this point, and loathe as she was to do it, Casey could have stood to use an actual move to hurt her opponent. A price to pay to win and get it over with before her grumpy opponent could go overboard.

Everything Casey said just cut deeper and deeper, and made Barbara madder and madder. "Speak for yourself!" Barbara spat back, "People don't have expectationa of you, but they've always had expectations of me!" The next words caught in her mouth, forcing the idol to pause her assault as she struggled with her own internal turmoil.

Because not only did people have expectations of her, she had always felt that she had no way of ever meeting them. Her father expected her to be a boy. Her mother expected her to be like her sister. And her sister set the bar so high in terms of academics and athletics that an average girl like Barbara couldn't ever hope to meet them. It was only when she became an idol that she began to meet some people's expectations, bringing them joy through her voice and herself the recognition she so craved. All those feelings welled up at once inside of Barbara, getting her all choked up and making her freeze.

Which gave Casey the time she needed to get back up and fire off her attack. "Uwah!" Barbara gasped as Casey grabbed her head jn a face lock, then brought her crashing down to the mats in a Tornado DDT! The idol had put up no resistance to the move, letting Casey land the hit to perfection. The shock from the blow made Barbara see stars as she lay groaning on the mat, her hands grabbing the back of her head to try and soothe the pain.

Casey went up... and then right back down with Barbara's head latched and planted in a Tornado DDT. The interviewer taking a moment to sit on the mat, holding her back as she looked over at her opponent. It was then that Kiernan took the moment to reflect and consider what Casey said. She supposed that maybe the girl was wrong. That maybe there were at least the most minimal expectations of Casey. But rather, she had attempted to raise them before growing up and allowed herself to meet the expectations that were actually given to her.

With a heaving sigh, Casey threw her head back in another groan of annoyance. She had cut this insecure girl deep, and while she felt a little bad about it... the chick was nearly unhinged in her desire to humiliate her, and she wasn't about to let that happen. "Yeah, well... who cares about 'em?" said Casey halfheartedly, patting Barbara's head.

Casey then stood up, pulling her opponent with her, half-heartedly at first. A meager first attempt failing, and a second. And then the interviewer groaned yet again and actually put effort into bringing Barbara to her feet and then gave her a big shove, sending her back towards the ropes with enough force that her opponent would rebound off of them! And then, Kiernan would step forward and attempt a leaping leg lariat, hoping to once more smash Barbara directly in the head to wear her down further!

Barbara had only just begun to stir when Casey came over to grab her. Feeling the patronizing pats on the back of her head, Barbara wanted to reach up and wipe what she assumed to be the smug expression Casey wore off her face for good with a nice humiliation move, but she couldn't move her arms. Even when Casey tried to pull her up her body wasn't cooperating, falling back to the mats twice before she was finally able to get her feet steady beneath her. The idol's was in a daze, swaying as she struggled to stand up, her vision still blurred and seeing double.

"Screw you!" Barbara tried to lunge forward and strike Casey, but instead for a rough shove back into the ropes. She bounced off, bounding back towards Casey, only to receive a big leg lariat straight to her face! The clothesline sent her flying backwards as her legs kicked up into the air, the idol smashing hard on her back on the mats with the wind knocked out of her.

"Ohhhh...." Barbara groaned. Her head ached even more after that hit. She closed her eyes, covering them with one arm as she breathed, chest rising up and down rapidly, trying to get her wind back. She knew she was in a bad spot, but she needed some time to recover from those hits before she could start fighting back against Casey again.

Casey's leg had sent Barbara down with a resounding CRACK! Casey popped right back to her knees and looked down at Barbara again, shrugging. "No... screw... you?" retorted Kiernan spinning to her feet again, Casey popped right back up and was ready for another attack. Pointing lazily towards the ropes, Casey called her shot.

With a mad sprint, Kiernan hit the ropes, and then immediately went to a slow, plodding walk right back towards Barbara, having decided against using any more energy at the moment, then looked down at Barbara and crouched down, ready to leap into the air in a knee drop... but then doesn't leave the ground. Instead, Casey just drops forward in a quick knee drop directly towards Barbara's head, trying to work over her head with the most unenthused offense this crowd may have ever seen.
